[The Year's First Half Idol Awards] Best Acting-Dol Yoochun
Sports Seoul has held a survey among about 100 idol group members to pick the best acting-dols of the first half of 2011.
JYJ’s Park Yoochun who is appearing in the MBC Drama Miss Ripley became the best “acting-dol” that idol singers picked. He received praises by challenging himself properly last year at acting with the KBS 2TV drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. He drew the attention of the viewers at his first challenge in a proper piece with his calm voice, handsome face, and the tears-acting that did not seem to be that of a rookie. Fellow idol singers evaluated that he is showing off a much grown acting ability through Miss Ripley. He received praises of: “I like the stable and relaxed breathing” and “He pulls off the character well.”

Yoochun definitely the 1st , if not why do I go crazy over him after sungkyukwan scandal…His acting is so natural when whoever watch SKKS will be in total shock when knowing he was actually a singer and performer..I like this talented man!

I’m glad to see Yoochun is first but as I explained previously on the post about Junsu I don’t consider JYJ as idols anymore so it kind of bothers me when they are called idols. Is it okay if I copy paste my comment on Junsu’s post here too ? (let’s say it is, alright ? ^^”)
“By leaving SM JYJ also left the idol system. I don’t consider them as idols anymore because they are their own bosses now, they make decisions for EVERYTHING when it comes to their careers, write their own lyrics, compose, arrange and even produce their own songs, have the freedom to chose the projects they want to get involved in, Jaejoong even directed their concerts ! Unlike SM, YG, JYP, Cube, DSP etc., CJeS isn’t an idol factory, CJeS is a normal agency and I believe if JYJ left SM it is also because they wanted to escape this whole idol system which is so restrictive and rigid and where idols have very little say and companies are all-powerful. That’s why I don’t like it when JYJ are still referred to as “idols”. Sure, they debuted as idols but now they are free from this idols system and even were publicly recognized as artists (remember this article’s headline : “From the representative idols of the Nation to the representative artists of the Nation” ?). I don’t want to look arrogant or look down on idols (cuz I like idols too, not all but some of them) but let’s face it, a lot of idols are’nt that talented and are more famous thanks to their looks or funny/special personalities than for their singing abilities.”
(Same goes for the idols turned actors, most of them are just eye-candy but can’t really act, thanksfully Yoochun isn’t one of them and I’m sure Jaejoong will do great in his drama too ^^).

I’ve same thought that he might go to that round, taking time off for song writing and composing. Yah…besides his profession performances and projects we will be hardly to see him elsewhere since he keep himself so low profile. I guess all his fans know that well and apparently we are all like chunnie like Chunsas…

Choi si won?? Oh my Lady right?? honestly, i dont know K-pop groups except BB and TVXQ and my friend recommenede me that drama saying that he is from SJ… I know the song sorry sorry.. But i dont know the members.. So i watched… Well, It was an Ok drama without a strong story line… I think he is not as bad as other idol turn actors… But i didnt like his face… Perdon me, no offense but to me he looks like another face came out from SM molding factory.. he looks like Kang Ta a bit… What i mean is that this face didnt attract me at all tho i think KT looks good… I feel like another similar face..
but ya, his acting wasnt that bad… anyway, i was so random… 
but surprised that Siwon won a close vote with chunie…

those three are awesome! and though acting is one thing, to pick a drama is also important thing. i’m sure yoochun got tons of offering after skks, and i’m glad he chose miss ripley. both have great casts and story, and his roles suit him well. for siwon, his antique expression goes along well with oh my lady and if you got abs, handsome serious face, even without dialogues, you can pull out a role of agent pretty good. as for eunjung, her role in dream high really shows her acting skills. still, i think it’s no doubt for yoochun’s win. i hope he can experience a whole different role later! ^^b
p.s. eunjung’s acting to decieve jangwoo in wgm was also great! can’t wait for next ep~ xD
