Korea Electric Power Corporation Appoints Korean Wave Stars JYJ as Honorary Ambassadors
Korea Electric Power Corporation revealed on the 5th that it has appointed JYJ as its honorary ambassador for the coming 50th anniversary of its founding.
JYJ plans to participate in the introduction of the global image for the corporation, for instance promoting a logo song for the corporation during abroad concerts.
An affiliate for the corporation said: “JYJ is hugely popular in the Philippines, Vietnam, and such Asian regions which are areas of strategy for foreign electricity industry. Therefore we anticipate that JYJ will help greatly in promoting the work by heightening the value of the Korea Electric Power Corporation.”

Musical <Mozart!>’s encore performances finished with great success
The Musical <Mozart!>’s encore performances of JYJ Kim Junsu have successfully finished.
Last year, on the first day of Mozart! Ticket sales, all the seats of Kim Junsu’s stages were sold out in only 3 seconds (T/N: It must be a mistake here, the tickets were actually sold out in only 3 hours). Meanwhile, he emerged like a new icon of the musical world by sweeping the Rookie awards at “The Musical Awards” and “Korea Musical Award”.
Also, with stable and sincere acting and singing ability, Kim Junsu received positive reviews from the audiences, and was said to have revitalized the stagnant world of musicals.

[NEWS] Miss Ripley’s sound track album sung by Park Yoo Chun and Hwa Yo Bi is released
Park Yoo Chun who plays Song Yu-hyeon in Miss Ripley and talented singer Haw Yo Bi sang in MBC’s drama series Miss Ripley’s sound track album, and 10,000 copies are released.
In the album, the song “The Empty Space For You” is sung by Park Yoo Chun and ranked at the top of the charts in various portal websites such as Naver Music, Daum Music, Melon, Dosirak, Bugs, and Cyworld with its release on June 21.
Also, “Glass” by Hwa Yo Bi placed in higher ranking with its mournful tone which featured well of Jang Miri’s emotion in the series.
Nine songs are listed in the album including “Abusive” by Miru and “If You” by Yang Young Jun.
Meanwhile, Miss Ripley is drawing viewers’ attention as Jang Miri’s lies are about to be revealed.

[NEWS] JYJ purchased own recording studio in Gangnam
JYJ(Yuchun Park, Jaejoong Kim and Junsu Kim) purchased their own recording studio near Gangnam-gu office. “JYJ have recently purchased a studio and it’s being redecorated at the moment. It became necessary because they have their activities with many own songs. It seems that the members felt the necessity of own studio during their individual activities after finishing the 1st album.” said a staff of JYJ.
It is known that JYJ are redecorating the interior of the studio including installing brand new audio equipments. Also they are planning to use it for the base to work on their own music. The studio was once co-operated by Yeon-Joon Jeong of UPTWON, Tri-Facta which is a famous management company that produced Jung Hwa Um, Koyote and Sol-bi.
JYJ wrapped up the World Tour in 10 cities in 7 countries including Bangkok(Thailand), China, Japan, 4 cities of America, Busan and Gwang Ju in Korea.
After the tour. Yuchun made comeback as an actor on MBC ‘Miss Ripley’, Junsu hit the stage of the musical ‘Mozart!’ and Jaejoong is due to appear in SBS ‘Protect the Boss’ for the first acting debut in Korea.
