It’s been over an year since Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu had their new steps as ‘JYJ’.
As you all know, JYJ and the fans have endured such a difficult time and it is still an ongoing issue ever since then.

ugh, its really jolting when you look at all the interference in a long list like this. i knew it was a lot but I didn’t realize it was this much. T_T…JYJ have been through a hell that I wouldn’t wish on any artist, even the ones I hate with a passion.
It’s really crushing to see it all laid out like this. I can’t even imagine how JYJ can handle disappointment after disappointment, and still manage to show their best face to their fans. TT_TT
It’s a shame their own country turns their back on them like this. How hard must that be for them? They’re like exiles in their own country. Really, those people ought to be ashamed of themselves. What have JYJ done to earn such treatment?
Sometimes I feel like, just screw them! Move to my country and kick butt here. But the sad truth is, the US is a tough nut to crack, and they’re blocked in the two countries where they have the most popularity. Unless they want to move to China…but good luck learning Mandarin. *shudder*
I don’t think the boys will ever leave their country for good, at least, not until they fulfill their military duty. I also strongly believe that they should not leave their country until they get back to their rightful place in the entertainment industry. By leaving and giving up, their enemies will think and gloat that indeed the boys are at fault and look how they taught them a lesson. I for one want them to keep fighting because they did nothing wrong, but fight for their rightful rights. However, if they feel that this battle is too hard for them, then I will gladly support them 1000% and I will be the first to agree with them to live this shitty industry behind and live their lives the way they want.
In my perspective, the majority of industry are siding with their ex-company because they all want to teach JYJ a lesson and show the rest of the idols what could happen to them if they dare to go against their companies or the industry. I would not be surprised if at this very moment this line is used on many idols in convincing them to do whatever. JYJ dared to disturb the status quo, and the status qua is not only valid in the entertainment bus, but across the society…so it’s going to be hard for a while.
But these three young men are doing so very well, and I am so very proud for every step they take no matter small or big. They are growing in leaps and bounds, not only as artists, but also as human, unique individuals, and caring fellows.
I don’t think JYJ should leave country too.. Leaving Korea means they giving up and that will bring joy to those who want to see JYJ crumble. Getting recognition they deserve in Korea and Japan is one challenge. So I think they should work hard to achieve those, and i believe in JYJ. I believe that they will be able to get what they deserve in Korea and Japan, a true recognition as a group. One day.. they will be able to grace us as fans on music shows.. because I believe in JYJ…
Woooow seeing it laid out hurts </3 All JYJ have been through….. This is unbelievable. K-media sprouting about their distorted wave but when JYJ wants to make their country proud and is by accomplishing feats that haven't been done by a single kpop, they are banned from K-media's attention.

Not to diminish the seriousness of the issues; but have you noticed that the rest of the Korean entertainment industry quietly supports JYJ? The Kdrama industry is clearly aware of both their talent and popularity; both in terms of acting and including them in the OSTs. They performed at that BIFF private party. The actors and production crews are clearly getting the word out that JYJ is wonderful to work with. Junsu is highly praised in the Korean theater industry. JYJ is gold in the advertising industry. The fashion industry has taken notice and are using them. So it’s really just the Kpop-related groups that are continuing the boycott of JYJ. When the lawsuit is finally settled the door will likely crack open – not wide, but it will crack. It will be interesting and fun to see what happens when their next album is released. So what’s holding up the final settlement? I wonder if the issue is SM delays in putting together financial information….. How much will that damage SME if/when it becomes public? Does anybody know what’s going on with the final settlement?
SME’s probably on their ‘drawing board’ already trying to decide what scandal will be big enough to cover the lawsuit news. The last time their was a trial they used a Shinee member dating someone to turn peoples heads away from the lawsuit news.

I don’t know the Shinee members well enough…but right after the lawsuit hearing all of a sudden there was news on AllkPop that Shinee’s leader was dating this model…..(it was very questionable)

I think there is a lot of truth in what you wrote. Given what working conditions are like for actresses on Television drama’s in S Korea, I wonder how many of the celebs supporting JYJ see in them some hope of change for their industry & their own careers? Most of us JYJ fans support the guys as much for their fight for their human rights & freedom, as we do for their talent & personalities. So it’s no surprise that so many of their peers & colleagues feel the same way. I’m so proud of the Miss Ripley cast who stood together & refused to do interviews when Chunnie was excluded, although he probably felt guilty on their behalf because of it – which is just another tactic in SM’s arsenal; make JYJ a pariah in the entertainment industry so every one will be too afraid for their own careers to work with them, & guilt trip JYJ into abstaining from working with others who could be professionally & personally negatively impacted by working with them. That there are so many people in S Korea quietly supporting JYJ is heart-warming.

It’s especially sad that this list does not include any of the interferences in Japan or other countries, and is probablt missing many things that happened to fans in Korea too.

This is why I respect them as individuals so much. They are indeed VERY strong willed. I would have broken a long time ago.

People laughed when CJes reported a ‘wrong number’ of total sold……..but actually the Korean entertainment industry is SO RIDICULOUS that I would not be surprised if they didn’t count all of JYJ’s sales for some reason….and I am skeptical that SNSD actually sold that much in a week.
For their own CD’s I want them to be their own distributor……and release their own chart with tracking numbers for people who are skeptical. Screw the other charts……..I don’t believe in them (It’s not like they will be nominated for awards anyways)

Now here is a rumor in Korea about JYJ. Some stupid stalker fans said the five of TVXQ will be united in a year. Now SME is negotiating with JYJ. They say Junsu and Yuchun are still negative to the contract that SM offered. But Jaejoong is persuading these two. And they believe TVXQ5 will reborn if Junsu accept.
So everytime when SME’s image is in danger in the public eyes, there is always rumors that JYJ will go back to SME.

The Korean teenagers I talk to hear these kinds of rumors all the time. :\ They’re pretty effective; even the smart, well-informed kids get semi-persuaded because of the emotional power behind these kinds of rumors. Many have admitted to me they support HoMin even though they hate SME, solely because they want to believe the five will reunite if they do.
(don’t anyone come yell at me for saying that; I’m just saying what these teenagers say to me. I’m not dogging HoMin, I’m talking about the power of the rumor.)

sigh i think lawsuits just take a ridiculously long time to get it settled..they wont want to make any mistakes afterall..
some can go up to several years..god knows what they’re doing..maybe gathering all the hard evidence to assess better
At this stage of the game, it’s more like the court is weighing very carefully when to make the final judgment. The only thing to decide now is the compensation. Civil cases are notorious for taking a long time. This is even more problematic in SK, because they do not use a jury system in the legal system. So, all decisions be they criminal or civil are handed down by a judge. This buts way too much pressure on a jurist, but that’s the system there. Whenever it comes down, it is not going to be very pretty for SME. They are using every stall tactic they can find, and then some. They just need to man up and get it over with. But that would be too much like right.
My understanding from what I’ve read about their legal system, civil cases run less time than they do in the West. So, as much as we may complain, it is probably still going to come before much longer. SME miscalculated that JYJ would not be able to sustain themselves long enough to pay legal bills. SME got punked.

i’m sure when the first time our boys sue them early in 2009, they are thought that our boys gonna disappear like the their senior who have same problem like our boys before…..i’m pretty sure that time SME thought that ‘they ae not gonna take a long time for stand up and they must be gonna back to us again after we put some pressure to them’ but those people really big mistake……they are never knew that these young people have a courage and really brave to fight them till now and i think SME really shocked to knew that our boys became a really big like now and they depressed to stop our boys with their many way that always just gonna bring another an open way to our boys to develop their skill and also spread their love also happiness to their life even though being hurt many times….why ? because our boys have their own way to changes those crisis moment to be their great opportunity

Forgive me for this question but I really don’t understand. Why is the KFPCAI involved in this? Is the Chairman LSM? Otherwise, aren’t they suppose to be neutral to all? Reading things like this always made me so angry!!! I wish I can do something to help the boys. JYJ is THE MOST TALENTED artists ever and they should not be treated this way. JYJ is always number 1 in my heart and I don’t care what the media or anyone else says JYJ is the best, and the kindest men I’ve ever known.
