Note: The 10 million won donation for the Mango Tree Project through World Vision was made in the name of of JYJ International Fans. This was duly noted on the donation certificate and PrinceJJ press release HERE.

AWESOME!
Too bad that I was still living in the darkness when the donation for his birthday present was taking place. I would love to donate my lace undies with his name on.
I think PrinceJJ must feel very grateful not having me in back there…. LOL
I hope I can join the cause next time. Will not miss anything related to my Jaejoong… ^__^
kyaa.. did i see correct, did you did you just…say
we have little kids out here including me lol
@ jen (@jenx2511)
Ahh… my dear, I should have added, not for under 18 to read then.
Btw… you are 18, so you are eligible for all the cheerful wording… LOL
Just a thought here…. did you look at my Jaejoong photos on GAPP, or did you avert your eyes?
XD
jj n fans so daebakk…
The best thing is to have the opportunity to participate in such wonderful projects. My heart is glowing in happiness
wow, great job!
wow!!! it made it to the local news!!!! congrats princejj! ^^
doing charity on jj’s birthday..how heart warming ^_^
It was a joint effort in the name of all three JYJ members headed by the lovely girls @PrinceJJ. It would be nice if they noted that.
i thinks the project under jj and jj fans =.= uhm
Well, somehow the media got ahold of the name “Prince JJ”, so somewhere someone attached that name to the donation or the press release.
The media got it wrong here… there was an article about this:
“[INFO] 111223 For Immediate Release: Mango Tree Donation Project by JYJ’s International Fans and PrinceJJ”http://jyj3.net/2011/12/23/info-111223-for-immediate-release-mango-tree-donation-project-by-jyjs-international-fans-and-princejj/
AND : Total Donation: ₩10,000,000
From: JYJ’s International Fans via PrinceJJ
and it’s also noted by the Admin above : Note: The 10 million won donation for the Mango Tree Project through World Vision was made in the name of of JYJ International Fans.
So I hope there’s no misunderstanding here, it’s was not claimed solely by Jae’s Fans, blame it to the lousy reporter who can’t get the facts right. The donation was in the name of JYJ International Fans (so the three members are accounted) , via PrinceJJ.
Awesome! =D
I dunno if this is important…isn’t the donation of Mango tree project under the name of JYJ International fans? not just Kim’s fans of Prince JJ? thanks to Prince JJ for organizing but Junsu and Yoochun fans as part of JYJ fans also contributed rite? Ignore my comment if it is wrong thought ^^
That’s how it was SUPPOSED to be, anyway. Hard to tell with whom the error lies.
@jyj truthiness : I quote what @kris wrote above “the error lies to the lousy reporter who can’t get the facts right”.
Yes. Prince JJ’s name was on it, so of course they gave credit to Prince JJ. I said nothing different. ^^
PrinceJJ who initiated the Mango Tree project is a website dedicated for Kim Jaejoong. http://princejj.com/
But it doesn’t matter ne? The donation has been sent and used for good cause. Whether it’s just JJ, Chunnie or baby Su or JYJ, what matters more is the good intention…
^__^
A lot of people’s motivation for donating is partially for recognition, so to many people the issue is probably VERY important. I’m not saying that’s a good or bad trait, I’m just saying it’s reality. Otherwise everyone would donate as “anonymous.” Fan clubs (and individual JYJ fans in general) are very very very particular about getting credit for everything they do. They WANT that credit. So while maybe it shouldn’t matter, it does.
Also, a note: Prince JJ did not initiate the Mango Tree project! World Vision did, and it was C-JeS who publicized it to fans around the world and invited them to take part. Prince JJ said they’d take i-fans’ money and donate it to the Mango Tree project on their behalf. (Nitpicking, but let’s not overstate their credit.)
if u see the donation certificate they used JYJ INTERNATIONAL FANS…. it just the media seems misunderstand bout it…
@lOve, why are you telling me? I was talking about why getting credit is important to many people. ^^
And actually, the press release says “JYJ International Fans via PrinceJJ”, so it’s no real shock the media screwed it up. “JYJ International Fans” sounds like a description, not a name. “Prince JJ” sounds like a name. So they gave PrinceJJ credit.
I don’t care either way; my name is on my own donation. ^^
@ jyj truthiness
My bad, I should have said PrinceJJ initiated the Mango Tree project’s donation for Kim Jaejoong’s fans.
I’m not even a Jaejoong fan, but I think people getting upset over one article’s misinformation is embarrassing. (I’m not talking about you personally. I’ve seen a lot of messed up comments on twitter.) Bragging rights should be the last thing on anyone’s mind. Maybe I’m more sensitive because this case hits close to home, but it bothers me nonetheless. There’s a time and a place for wank and this isn’t one of them. :/
I wasn’t part of this project, so yeah, I’m not concerned from a personal level. But you have to understand, credit is EXTREMELY important in this kind of situation. As I already said, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, it’s simply fact. Arguing the morality of it is pointless. If no one wanted credit, they wouldn’t put their name on donations, pure and simple. Have you ever worked for a charity? I have. If I’d put the wrong name on a donation I’d have lost my job. It is serious business. People are not altruistic, and that’s been proven again and again. And JYJ fans are definitely not.
Besides, JYJ fans blow a gasket if someone fails to add their name to a one-line translation; for pete’s sake, LOL. They are adamant about getting credit for every tiny thing, even things for which they really don’t deserve recognition. When it comes to financial donations and getting credit in the media, of course they’re mad. That was the whole point of attaching a name to it – bragging rights. If fans have missed out on that reality, then I guess it’s time to wake up.
I find this to be one time ranting and raving is not embarrassing (and this is coming from someone who is embarrassed by JYJ fans on almost a daily basis). People need to be paying attention to this kind of stuff.
Yeah @jyj truthiness except the thing is, I don’t see any of us who actually donated being upset by this.
PrinceJJ is the one that organized this fan donation drive, so it’s pretty obvious that K-media would give them the credit for it.
Fans knew it was being organized by PrinceJJ and they knew PrinceJJ is a Jaejoong fanclub. The donation was made under the banner of “PrinceJJ and JYJ international fans”, which was what written on the donation certificate that World Vision gave.
So if media had to pick a name to attach to the donation, of course they would pick PrinceJJ.
They just made the mistake of saying that it was a donation by “jaejoong fans for his birthday”. Other than that, I don’t see a problem with media crediting PrinceJJ when they were the site that organized the donation drive in the first place.
Also, I don’t see any person who participated in this getting upset because they knew full well who they were donating to and they weren’t doing it to get recognition.
No person who donated through PrinceJJ expected for them to be personally recognized my k-media for donating. We donated because it was a good cause that was promoted by the JYJ members.
We knew what we were doing and we knew that it would be under PrinceJJ’s name since we donated through them.
There is no surprise for any of us.
@Shinbyeong
I’m afraid it is not possible for you to speak on behalf of everyone who donated to the project and everyone who’s complaining. A lot of people are complaining – you don’t know who they are or whether they donated. You are speaking ONLY for yourself. You can drop the “we”. Obviously it was not credited the way some people thought it would be. A bunch of twitter complaints confirm that, and you don’t know who most of those people are.
Moreover, you’re still not listening. I’m saying getting credit right is important to many people and they have a right to complain if they perceive credit has gotten screwed up. If you have a problem with that then you’re arguing with millions of years of evolution. No point in arguing with ME over it.
You can keep coming back at me and claiming there is only one legitimate way for every single person to feel about this, and that I am a horrible person for not criticizing the people who are upset, but there’s really no point. Everyone has their own feelings.
@ Shinbyeong
I am also part of the donation, and I agree with your comment.
@ jyj truthiness
Excuse myself for saying this. You are not part of the project, but you seem to concern more about the article. You have your own opinion yes, and so are we.
This wasn’t meant to be some kind of war. I was responding to some people’s concern that the donation may not have been credited properly. Then people started implying no one had a right to be concerned and so on. People have a right to be upset if they want to be upset because it’s human nature and it’s very very very much fandom nature. I’m glad you all made your group donation. I made a donation too. Now peace out.
Wow! We are in Korean news, even if a month later.. Happy to have joyned the project. Amazed by the great result. Thanx to all my sweet family.
JYJers are Deabak!!
Anneyoo i have to wait a bit to turn 18
yes i did see them how can i avert my eyes and all those pics are making it even harder for me to study .:-P
Lol how in the world did my comment end up here?
In reply to @jae is nine
Ah this phone.. I mean *Mine
JJ/JYJ fans R the BEST!!
JJ/JYJ fans *FIGHTING!*
Princ JJ is on the roll
some fans please dont turn jealous =.= you want mention. open/do the project yourself please
No one here has written a single jealous comment. There has been discussion over whether the donation was properly credited. (It was; the media made a mistake.)
It’s not jealousy. It’s a mislead information..I think, what isn’t right must be pointed out so that people wouldn’t get wrong info..I think a note should be written by the admin at the end explaining about the wrong part from the news.
jj deserves the best,, I am soo happy and proud to be one of jaejoong international fans
I love u my prince
thank u princejj for the great project that helped us get closer to our prince jaejoong
yeah ROCK n roll XD
Thank you!
We understand the Korean media made a mistake with the credits but Pirnce JJ did say it was a donation of International JYJ fans. And it was made via PrinceJJ…
Anyway, I’m really happy I could be part of this project beyond the recognition as I donated because it was a good cause.
Thank you PrinceJJ and congrats for bein in korean news
Thank You for the Donations!! So proud of my fellow international fans
I know Korean media got it wrong by saying that it was only Jaejoong fans that donated, but looking at PrinceJJ’s press release it did say international fans of JYJ, so they did try to make that distinction. I guess the media just got it mixed up a bit.
Anyways it shouldn’t really matter, should it? Jaejoong is still a JYJ member and I think all of us donated because we wanted to help the charity, not because we are fans of a certain person. In the end, no matter what name the media reports it under, the money goes to a good cause and we should still be proud to have collected so much.
also a big thank you to PrinceJJ for organizing and making the donation for all of us. I am sure that was not an easy job and I am glad that your hard work is now being appreciated!
A+++
I hope those people with a bit (?) on their minds could read and understand your comment.
Yes, I’m glad Prince JJ made the notice. It’s nothing really..not that we don’t appreciate what Prince JJ did. It’s simply a wrong info that should be corrected..that’s all. No matter, small or big info we should deliver it correctly right. Not saying that PrinceJJ gave the wrong info, it’s the Korean media that made the mistake but if the blogger or fansite that posted the news clearly know some part of the info is not right, something should be done to clear it rite..a note or a notice perhaps..
*I’ve said my point..I’m done here ^^
My memory I donated it but only when Prince JJ apologize on twitter make me remember this is JYJ fan project. My brain, may be it does not matter to me that who donate, what matter to me that if the end of donation receive well.
Hmmm it seems that K-media hv given the wrong info since this was a JYJ fans project. However this was a great project and hope the mango trees grows well with our love <3
heart warming ^_^
I am soo happy and proud to be one of Jaejoong international fans
Aigoo..WE took donation part NOT for just under JJ’s name..
It’s from JYJ’s International fans! Under Jae Chun and Su names..Korean media should correct it -_-
We all know that K-media often times get the info incorrect cause they don’t look closely enough or maybe this time there was a language barrier during translations. It was true that PrinceJJ initiated the project for all JYJ3 fans to donate but I guess that in itself was a bit too complex for K-media/reporters to translate or even comprehend or it was just too long worded. I don’t know but it isn’t PrinceJJ’s fault for K-media mistake. All of us know that it was the effort of all JYJ fans for this. It’s also written clearly on the paper so if you’re worried about the boys not knowing then you shouldn’t cause I’m sure they look at the names of each donor and since YooChun can read and comprehend english pretty well, he will know and tell the other two that their international fans donated this much money to support their project. What should matter is that the you donated for the right reasons and also probably second to that would be the boys knowing that you donated which I’ve said before, they should have already know back when the project was finished. No need to be upset at any fanclubs/sites for this mistake that they did not cause.
On another note, I’m happy to see that K-media is finally getting to the point of recognizing i-fans TRUE efforts and not the ones that are fed to them by a certain company *coughSMEcough*
Also my <3 doesn't appear in my name
how much is 10,000,000 won? it it around 100K?
Just under $10,000.
very proud of them
The 10 million won donation for the Mango Tree Project through World Vision was made in the name of of JYJ International Fans, the project was facilitated by Prince JJ. So please Junsu and YC’s fans, don’t get mad to Jae’s fans claiming the whole credit. Hunt the reporter.
It was very clear : Total Donation: ₩10,000,000
From: JYJ’s International Fans via PrinceJJ
We can see the Bank Wire Form here: http://jyj3.net/2011/12/23/info-111223-for-immediate-release-mango-tree-donation-project-by-jyjs-international-fans-and-princejj/
This is already history, why Kmedia just report it now with distorted data.
Maybe the name PrinceJJ mean individuality member that why Korea media misunderstood and i can understand every fan will happy to see their bias name but it is not the most important …it is most important where the money go and can make something meaningful or not..the answer is YES..we can help pps need help, we can help our boys have a good name in public eyes.. JJ or YC or JS ..the end is still JYJ ! the boys try to get any change to help each other even individuality or like the group why not us?….hope all the
fan-sites doesn’t mater only member or JYJ , please put all the personal problem behind us , we can not unit but at least can help each other make fandom stronger …!
and last thank you PrinceJJ spend time and work hard to managed to make project success !
Next time, JYJ3 admins should initiate this kind of project. Then there will be no confusion ^_____^
I really appreciated PrinceJJ for taking care the donation, they made it so easy for me to donate. I just charged with my credit card and it was done.
