The long awaited Xiah Tod enslaved my heart with his ethereal singing voice and figure.
Xiah Tod – noble, cruel, sweet and appealing to me, if I might venture an opinion.
Rather than my opinion, following episode tells you more. My daughter, who had been unfamiliar with musical actor Kim Junsu, was so excited and burst into tears saying “Who is this man? Too cool!!!” as soon as the curtain fell. With tears in my eyes, too, I was quite happy and proud of Xiah’s singing voice which grabbed and moved people’s heart.
My daughter and I couldn’t forget Xiah Tod’s singing voice and couldn’t sleep well that night. We had an exciting talk about him hoping to come and see his performance again. I never imagined I would have this kind of experience together with my daughter.
“His performance should be permanently preserved!” was my daughter’s remark in praise of the superb Xiah Tod.
Bewitching and sexy Xiah Tod was really heavenly.
He used singing voice and facial expressions to perform Tod almost all the times, different from his performance in ‘Mozart!’.
Xiah devoted all his energies to express attractive ‘Death’-which has multicolored and difficult expressions- in limited movement and phrase of songs.
“Elizabeth…”
He repeated the name of his beloved…
Cold, passionate, and sweet temptation in his singing voice…
I would hold his hand knowing I shouldn’t, if my name was called repeatedly in such a sweet voice.
His sexy lines with a sigh in a lower tone, after strong singing voice…
He was very good at singing with intonation so that he sang, changing his voice tone slightly when expressing the wavering feeling of Elizabeth as if he was able to haul into his hands unnoticed.
His soft voice was sexier and more fascinating when he talked to young Rudolf, rather than his talking to Elisabeth, so that he easily coaxed the pure child’s feeling.
I shivered in spite of myself with fear since this was the distinctive expression of ‘Death.’.
I heard his live singing after a long long time. His voice was more vigorous, powerful, emotional and stable even in a low tone. I am quite happy that I could hear and love his singing voice.
In ‘Elizabeth’, they used the stage setting and lighting with elaborate designs. By changing the displays of the stage, it had a totally different atmosphere and no one could think it was the same setting. The gorgeous dresses with detailed designs were also another charms of this musical.
Tod’s black costume was so tight that it revealed his firm body. It was so sexy and cool. Tod changed his dress from black to white. This change was so nice and made me wonder ‘Death’ might be an angel. I’m sure I can’t never resist taking his hand, if it comes to me.
The singing voice of his co-stars, Oak Joo Hyun and Min Young Ki, were also wonderful. Especially, the voice of Kim Su Young, who played the roll of storyteller Lucheni, overwhelmed me. The Korean musical is high-quality as it is said.

Xiah’s singing voice even melted the stiff feelings deep inside my heart , softly and politely. I love it after all.
My daughter Ai asked me, “how far does he go?” I also want to see to what extent his challenges go…. I want to be with him now and forever to see his eternal potential and hear his singing voice.
He gave me another great chance to see his charm. Kim Junsu.
I love to live together with your singing voice forever.

unfortunately, they dont have the japanese culture of producing musicals on DVD…but i do hope they change their minds with elizabeth… it’s too bad we cant watch it, but if we have a DVD, we’ll at least get the feel… oh…if they will grant our wish… T^T

actually the DVD for Mozart is just like a “highlight” of the whole musical, i will love if there will be a “musical concert – like” for Elisabeth, but i would prefer if they record the whole musical and realese a DVD, im just too excited about this musical and Junsu’s character…XiahTod is just so charming, i have a big big crush on him OTL lol

“I love to live together with your singing voice forever.” –> Me too! As long as Xiah continues to sing, I will continue to listen. I am in-love with his voice and have been for almost 4 years now. 4 years ago, I didn’t think his voice could be any more beautiful than it already was but now when I listen to him, he has improved so much! I cannot be more proud and happy to be a Xiah fan.
I wish I could see his musical live… but being from a different country and still living off my parents, it is impossible for me.
Please please please let the DVD of Xiahtod be released!! I hope there are no setbacks; I will really cry if they cancel it ;A;
Agree. It seems like there is no limit for him. Junsu can get better and better in no time. First time when he did “Elisabeth” premier for the media, his low voice cracked and he had problems with it. Then, BOOM! he just does it with any problems at all.
I love his voice, and his everything of KIM JUNSU.

I was hoping for some fan accounts..

Everything she said was so expected and beautiful and I feel so proud or at least I should be feeling proud and I think I am yet..I kind of want to cry.

I feel just like you sometimes, wondering when I’ll ever hear him sing in person again and experience this awesomeness that is his voice and his magnetic stage presence. God, i loved this….you almost made my cry.
I know how u feel…sometimes its just to hard to be his fan….u love him but at the same time u feel so apart…oh Lord, i dream about being able to see him and hear his voice…like…every single day. Its hard to think that, maybe, u will live all your life seeing him through a computer, its kinda depressing.
But at the same time u love him that much that, at the end, nothing else matters….im happy only knowing that he exist, that hes healthy, that hes happy, im happy with being able to hear his voice, watching fancams….with only that.
Being a fan is so hard, but at the same time…its a bleesing.

Some fans keep their distance and try not to get too involved or attached..but somehow it seems inevitable and it’s certainly all at your own risk to become so emotionally invested in a fandom..in people/a person you don’t even know =p
Like you said..it’s so hard, but at that same time, more than anything, it’s a blessing. Just knowing he exists is such a blessing..I couldn’t imagine not having at least this much.
