The memories will get you through the pain and loss. Time and distance from it will take away the hurt. Everything that is good in you, is because of those who made it possible for you to be in this world.
I’m a lot older, don’t have either of my parents still around. But like you, I wasn’t there when my dad passed away. I will always be sad about that because we has some issues. But there were so many wonderful memories. Even after all these years, that makes it bearable.

Even though I lost both my parents in these last 11 months, I feel blessed to have been by their sides when they passed. It was sad and beautiful at the same time. I will never forget the experience I had when I knew my mother’s soul had left her body.
We didn’t always see eye to eye over my youngest sister and at the end it didn’t matter. Even though I’m older, I miss them a great deal, I still feel 74 and 75 is relatively young in this day and age, especially when they had parents live to their mid-90′s. I would loved to have had them longer in my life, but sadly that was not to be, I do plan to be there a long as possible for my daughters!

So the tweet is for his father. He still misses his dad a lot.
Reading his post made me sad too as I think of my father who passed away many years ago when I was at the same age as when he lost his dad.
It can’t be helped especially when we lost our loved ones while we were not there at the deathbed.
The poor guy hasn’t had a chance to grieve for his father properly. I lost my father 5 years ago and I still get hit by emotions now and then. Lets pray he can overcome this and carry on to be strong.
=[ this is sad..RTP was good for him, because it kept him busy..he didn’t really have time for wandering thoughts and to dwell on these things. But I suppose it’s good that he has the time now..to reflect and just come to terms with all that’s happened. He can seek his closure now.
