Singer-turned-actor Park Yoo Chun had high praise for his partner Han Ji Min after teaming up with her for their recent drama Rooftop Prince, saying that it was like he was given a great present when he got to meet the actress.
In a recent interview with enews, Park Yoo Chun showed his great satisfaction and thanks toward his ‘lover’ Han Ji Min of Rooftop Prince. He also showed he was very close to her, calling her ‘Ji Min nuna (big sister)’ throughout the entire interview.
Park Yoo Chun said, “When we first came in for a test shoot, Ji Min nuna was exhausted because it hadn’t been long since she had wrapped up her previous piece. Thankfully, we were to shoot together with the three subjects, so our first shoot wasn’t too awkward.”
He then added, “That’s how we first met, and because Ji Min nuna has a laid back personality that would make anyone comfortable, we later became so close that she asked me, ‘You feel really comfortable around me, don’t you?’ Acting together with such a relationship let us build great teamwork which helped us put together scenes easily with just one or two tries.”
“Ji Min nuna gave me a lot of help as a senior in acting,” he also said. “For example, when I needed to talk something over with the director, she was the one that helped us find time to see each other. I was thankful for a lot of different things.”
Perhaps because of all the help he had received, Park Yoo Chun said about Han Ji Min, “She’s an actress that can bring on a synergy effect with any actor she acts with.”
He said, “I think I met a great person. I believe I was fortunate in Rooftop Prince that I was able to meet such great colleagues, and it was like I got a great present when I met such a great partner as Han Ji Min.”
The couple’s teamwork pulled Rooftop Prince up to the top for its last episode, helping the drama win the final three-way drama battle.

I really want them to date!!!! Personally I think they like each other but want to keep it privately. Based on what I have seen and what they have said about each other. I think they compliment each other well. They look and feel like a real couple, not just a celebrity couple for show, but a real life couple. But if that has not happen or will never happen, I truly hope they stay real close friends. She seem like a real nice person with a great personality and she is pretty.

That's really cool that she asked him if he felt comfortable around her. She really does seem laid back~ Watching RTP, the relationships between them as characters seemed so natural and real. I'm not surprised. I imagine it was such a friendly set and just an overall atmosphere to be in. YC, I hope you two team up again in the future^^

Without even dating, they have already started to do solo activities. As fans, NEVER stop them just as no one stop you from loving JYJ. If you held your heart back because someone stopped you (like parents), it would be a very hard life to live.
He definitely see her as his ideal type. One of his interviews, he said, “If we were to openly date, I would tell the world. She’s someone I would want to bring to visit my dad’s tomb. But of course, we don’t have any relationship together (laugh).” …Because of fans or HJM? It’s sad to hear nonetheless. From noona to bringing to dad’s tomb. It’s too obvious! ♥
All the staff, esp HJM, gave him strength to endure his pain. See how our YC is so happy?? If you took away that inner support, I think YC wouldn’t be this successful. If that loving support had continued into JYJ, I think JYJ definitely would be even bigger. I think all JYJ should date and stop fearing for their lives.

I just read an article where it was reported that YC spoke of the closeness and comfortability of working with Han Ji Min, and that helped create their great onscreen chemistry. However, he said “Even while holding hands during filming, there was nothing (between us), thus there is no possibility of us becoming a couple.” Well, that pops all our hopes no? Anyway, I am grateful that they got to work together and made some onscreen magic.

Hi YC, first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. Rooftop Prince was a FANTASTIC drama. I have been watching korean dramas for quite some years already all through buying DVDs. But for RTP, I actually followed through the drama on the website in Korean language FOR THE FIRST TIME which i do not understand and not even with the chinese sub-title coz i don’t know how to read chinese alao. That’s how GREAT your RTP was. And this is the very first Korean Drama i have ever seen in Korean Language and no English sub-title at all. All the Best to You !!!!!!!!!!!
