I felt so much pride watching Junsu standing on stage performing with the veteran actors and actresses. He was wonderful, so full of confidence and he managed to hold his own without being intimidated by the rest, who were really awesome as well. I might be wrong, but I think his standing position on stage is an indication of how much he is valued as a rising musical actor in the industry.

I haven’t seen a full video of Junsu’s LAST DANCE. And now I could say that he’s really THAT GOOD! I was so happy hearing him sing One Day More from Les Mis (My All time fave musical). He makes me proud seeing him stand among those actors. he is really one of them now. Korea’s one of the best musical actors! Junsu… i’m a proud noona!!!!

Pictures do him no justice. As soon as I see him in real time..gosh..I’m sure you all know by now you just have to see Junsu in real time. Moving and breathing and just..breathing
Junsu sharing the stage with veteran actors, singing Les Mis….in that moment, I really felt the excitement he must feel standing on stage, raising his voice with others..creating music. It’s cheesy to compare it to my experiences in band lmao because surely it couldn’t compare, but the feeling’s the same. That feeling of sharing one passion, so incredibly strong, with others. God it’s amazing.
Must be the lighting and his hair, but his is eyes are like fricken glowing almost. They look..brilliant.
I learned of the news earlier that he didn’t win Best Actor. And I admit I couldn’t help but feel a bit saddened that he didn’t snag that award. && after watching this Last Dance Perf….finally, for the first time, getting what seems like a real glimpse of XiahTod aside from curtain call fancams I can’t help but feel that slight sadness again. He’s just so incredibly amazing. He’s just..really something else. And the first vid really does no justice. Seriously. Just watch that Junsu-focused one..he’s so overwhelmingly expressive. Every nuance of his movement to his eyes alone..his eyes…
I can’t compare him to other actors. And I won’t. I won’t say he did this or that more than another, that he’s “deserving”. No. There’s one truth though, and that’s that for 32 runs of this musical called ‘Elisabeth’, Kim Junsu took up the stage and completely and so unequivocally lost himself to the role of Death—Best Actor award or not. And I believe he’s just laid on us take 33 (solo tour perfs. excluded lol).
Congratulations, Kim Junsu.
