Group JYJ’s member Kim Jaejoong’s charismatic acting has stolen the hearts of the audience.
In MBC’s weekend drama “Dr Jin”, Kim Jaejoong, who plays the character Kim Kyung Tak, who is skillful in martial arts, has enormous pride and a competitive spirit, displayed his strong acting skills in the scene where he placed his sword against Jin Hyuk (played by Song Seung Hyun) after knowing that Young Rae (played by Park Min Young) was still in the village in the episode broadcasted on the 9th of June.
In the drama, Kim Kyung Tak is the bastard son of Kim Byung Hee (played by Kim Eung Soo). He has to bear the pain of his illegitimate status and has to constantly put up a strong front.
In reality, the way he points his sword and gun towards Jin Hyuk without hesitation and with a cold gaze in his eyes gives people the chills and is extremely realistic.
Through his charismatic acting, we can see that he has thoroughly examined his character. For a character such as Kim Kyung Tak who constantly needs to portrayed aggressively, it is not an exaggeration to say that it is with Kim Jae Jung’s charismatic gaze that a more perfect character was born.
However, it is wrong to say that he only focuses on charismatic acting. He is also able to show an expression that seems as if he could cry in an instant in front of Young Rae whom he adores. Also, he showed an interesting side in a recent part where he became embarrassed as wanted to grab Young Rae’s hand but she pulled away in a hurry.
In particular, this is Kim Jaejoong’s first time in a historical drama but because he is able to show his acting skills by using a fluent historical tone and become one with his character, he has received the passing mark from the audience. To be able to understand his character’s complicated feelings, Kim Jaejoong’s acting skills do not lose out to other actors who are idols.
However, this is a result of his hard work. Before filming started, for the character of Kim Kyung Tak, he went through horse-riding, swordsmanship training and through countless drops of perspiration, he gave his best to show a perfect portrayal of his character.
In the future, the audience will be paying attention to what kind of new image Kyung Tak will show through his duel with Jin Hyuk due to the relationship between Young Rae and Jin Hyuk.

Really? That’s good to hear. I haven’t been following Dr. Jin (I know, bad stan) and I don’t have any idea how he’s performing from someone objective.
I guess I know better than to say, “Well, of course! EVERYBODY loves Jaejoong!” For some I guess he is just too threatening, although why that should be is beyond me. As I’ve said a bunch of times before, how he looks, his physical perfection, is the least of his gifts. Still, for a certain sort of person, he will always be a thorn in their side. For the rest of us – we celebrate each new victory for Jae. What an amazing young man, in toto, he truly is.

Yes @lili, he is truly amazing, and i will always pray and cheer for him too, and celebrate with him each fruit of his hardwork no matter how long, short, and seemingly insignificant to others. To me every Jae work and doing is a work of hard labor, art, careful execution and perfection!

I actually like the fact that KyungTak’s character was not in the original Dr. Jin. Not that I saw it anyway.
This way Jaejoong gets to define him on his terms. Considering the makeup of the character, he’s doing what he’s been asked to do and more. He is creating a feeling for this character. Kudos Jaejoong!
Although i am currently delaying my Dr. Jin viewing, but news like this really warms my heart. Coz i am so happy that jae gets positive reviews, surely to validate him and all his hard efforts…
I do not know why– i just feel a need to pray for this man ardently. It seems (my perception) that he is always challenged in many ways, lately the fandom. I do not understand why he is always attacked and blamed? I trust Jae and his decisions, because i know he is a well discerning person, and is overly considerate of others, putting himself last and less visible. He is very selfless in fact. I’m so far from him, the best i can give him are my sincere prayers, for his wellness, happiness and protection.
