The group JYJ has impressed public with warm donation.
on June 22nd, Dreame has announced that JYJ, Jaejoong Kim, Yuchun Park and Junsu Kim, donated 23 tons of rice which had been saved for neighbours in need.
Dreame delivered 23 tons of rice to 6 organisations in the all across of the country from June 18th to June 21st on the request of C-JeS Entertainment, the management company of JYJ.
According to Mr. Seoung Goo Roh, the representative of Dreame, the 23 tons of rice had been donated by JYJ and saved at Dreame so far. JYJ’s Fans in Korea and foreign countries sent total 64 tons of rice-wreath** to support Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu and 45 tons of the rice were delivered to neighbours in need and 19 tons of rice are saved at Dreame.
5 tons to Saint Paolo and Anne House at Gyeongsangbukdo, 5 tons to Yangpyeonggun council Gyeonggido (each 10kg were delivered to 500 houses in Yangpyeong), 2 tons to Busan office of Community Chest of Korea, 1 ton to Sancta Familia House at Gapyeong (Gyeonggido) and 9 tons were delivered to help children attending school without lunch.
JYJ’s fans in Korea and foreign countries sent rice-wreath to Dreame for JYJ’s showcase, concerts, fan meeting events, Junsu Kim’s musicals (Tears of Heaven, Morzart, Elisabeth), Yuchun Park’s dramas (SKK Scandal, Miss Ripley, Rooftop Prince), Jaejoong Kim’s drama (Protect the Boss and Dr. Jin) and also for Yuchun Park’s loss of his father in the manner of condolence in March.

** Rice-wreath: A special way of celebration or condolence instead of floral-wreath in Korea.
It is to help neighbours in need and consisted of bags of rice with messages of a donor.
Because floral-wreaths are disposable, many people use rice-werath of Dreame for so that it can express their celebration or condolence as well as help other people.

I’m a little bit confused. Is it a separate donation from JYJ or is it the donations from fans on different occasions so far and now delivered?
Looks like all the rice wreaths collected on many occasions put together and donated.
It sounds as if the boys themselves also donated rice through C-Jes. Because the fan donations don’t go through C-jes. However the 64 tons of rice is all the various fan donations made inthe name of the boys during their activities.

I am so happy to see they put all their individual rice wreaths together and donated them as JYJ, not as individuals. And really happy to know I contributed to this.
C-JeS has so many jobs that other entertainment companies don’t have to deal with. Not only legal battles with people and organizations attacking JYJ, and the uphill battle to keep JYJ successful in the face of oppression, but they are also a charity as well. Makes me proud of them.

you are so right Lisa, JYJ are C-jes made the right choice of putting together all the rice wreaths donated by fans. With the amount of ordeals they constantly deal with in SK and Japan, and elsewhere…I am so happy that they always make time for charities. That sharing is part of their mission-vision as an entertainment company and as artists. Really admirable. Thanks for your donation too!
It’s good that their existence helps their country. 64 tons of rice is a lot. Soon enough it will reach 100 tons of rice.
