JYJ’s Jae Joong touched the female viewers by taking care of his fiancee Park Min Young even after he was turned down by her.
In the episode of Doctor Jin that aired on June 23, Young Rae (played by Park Min Young) declined Kyung Tak (played by Jae Joong)’s proposal of marriage, saying she was not in love with him.
Although he was heartbroken, Kyung Tak was still considerate of Young Rae.
As his father Byung Hee (played by Kim Eung Soo) asked him the reason for breaking off his engagement, Kyung Tak took care of Young Rae by saying it was because he couldn’t marry with a daughter of a ruined family.
In the episode, the change in Kyung Tak’s eyes especially attracted many viewers’ attention. When he was turned down by Young Rae, he looked at her with a mixture of sorrow and anger in his eyes as if it was unbelievable to him. However, as he realized that he had to give up on her and the love he had for the last twenty years, his eyes were filled with tears. When he said to his father that he would brake off his engagement, he acted calmly.
In the tenth episode of Doctor Jin that will air on June 24, Jin Hyuk (played by Song Seung Hun) successfully performs an operation for a stomach ulcer. From this, Lee Hae Eung (played by Lee Bum Soo) wins the Great Queen (played by Jung Hye Sun)’s confidence and tries to make his son Myung Bok rise to the throne.

then I hope Young Rae will leave Kyung Tak alone to mend his heart. Don’t ever come to him to ask for any of his favors should something happen. See if Jin Hyuk can make her happy when he’s already had a girlfriend in his real world and he’s meant to return to it eventually. >__>

I agree. She has no problem telling straight to Kyung Tak’s face that she doesn’t want to marry him. Her mother’s words have no effect on her because her own feelings are the most important. So I don’t get why she didn’t decline the engagement a long time ago. I really dislike Young Rae. SMH.
There’s a saying that ” Follow your heart. ” and I want to understand her but yes, you’re right she should have declined KT long before. Her character is supposed to be a compassionate woman but how come she doesn’t show even just a little appreciation (if she can’t really love KT) to everything KT has done for her and her family and doesn’t she realize that she’s also putting the Dr. Jin in trouble. I can’t stand watching her smiling in Ep 9, …… and why are we so affected?

Yes, but on the other side, the more they break KT’s heart, the more Jaejoong can showcase his acting skills and the more potential to highlight KT’s character .

Kyung Tak may be hurt so badly but I think the love nurtured for 20 years for Yong Rae will always be there kept inside his broken heart. I hope the writer will give KT and the gisaeng hot romantic scenes (even if it’s just a fling), that would be awesome, and let YR see it .

Well, at least they moved the operations from drilling in peeps heads to their stomachs; I guess they will focus on stomach surgeries for the next 6 episodes, and probably they will move to other drilling body parts. Ke Ke Ke.
On a different note, for the development of JJ’s character, I am glad that he was rejected. Now if the scriptwriter-nim and director-nim do a good job, we should expect to see more character development for KKT and the others. More than Dr. Jin character, I like Kim Beom Soo, who is talented actor in everything he does. His role in this show does not dissapoints.
Park Min Young is a beautiful and lovely woman, but as an actor, for me, she is very hard to watch. I saw her in CH, SKKS, and she has the same expressions. Then you watch Lee So-yeon, and she is so fluid in her acting, so relaxed and feeling comfortable in her character. Well, this is just my uneducated opinion about the actors. This doesn’t mean that they don’t work hard, because al the team is working really really hard
i actually agree with you on the actors. the gisaeng and lee bumsoo are great actors, they are into their characters. this is just my opinion but i get bored with park min young, she is really beautiful and a good actress too, i don’t know but i just get bored with her acting even in CH. but she was fun to watch in SkkS and I am Sam. on the other hand i’mi getting a grip on SSH now. and i like jaejoong’s character developement. jae gets to showcase different emotions here. for me its good kyung tak was rejected and will not become a couple because i can’t sadly feel their chemistry. what i really really find lacking in this drama is that they lack girls/women around.
i want to add YoungHwi was great too. dr. jin have a lot of good actors. all the supporting actors were good.
Hi there, I do have the feeling that PMK is a little bit typecast because of her sweet innocent face. Actually, I didn’t even finish CH. The strongest character in that drama was LMH’s father . That man (Kim Sang-joong) was wow!
finally i was able to comprehend what was amiss in the main lady role by each of your comments. its still same face since city hunter wasnt it? . she was ok at sks. but the 2nd film ch i hav truly wishd they chose another fmale lead who could act naturally . her character/act was a lil bit headstrong and (spoiled ) .?redundant. i dont know but wen i see her on drama i easily gets annoyed .

jj truly is an “eye” actor. he can show so many emotions without saying a word. he eyes say a million things ane are so expressive-he also conveys emotions in the songs he sings with his beautiful eyes.
In a way I can understand Young Rae because you cannot force love on no one and is better to end things now than to carry on a fake feeling, but Kim Kyung Tak now more than ever will hate Dr, Jin and will blame him for the change of heart of Young Rae, anyways Dr. Jin was warn before that she wasn’t who he thought and she could put him in danger. This drama is getting more interesting!
