[NEWS] 120628 JYJ featured in French daily paper

Boy band JYJ was featured in France’s Le Parisien daily newspaper on Wednesday in an article on the group’s rise to international fame.
The article, titled “K-pop conquers South America”, delved into the appeal of the trio, commenting on its “addictive lyrics and perfectly synchronized dance moves”.
JYJ’s success in South America was highlighted with the mentioning of the band’s recent world tour, which had the group make stops in 15 cities across the globe.
The fact that an Asian group managed to perform for fans in European countries as well as in Chile and Peru was deemed a phenomenal feat by the French paper.
The report also mentioned the group’s official “Membership Week”, which opened yesterday at Setec convention hall in southern Seoul, and saw more than 7,000 Japanese fans visiting Korea for the chance to meet the boy band members. More than 3,500 hotel rooms have been booked for the fan event.
The paper called JYJ a “Hallyu group that knows no bounds”.

[NEWS] 120628 JYJ Kim Jae Joong Treated Like a Goddess in Thailand?
We all know that JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong is pretty, but a small town in Thailand sees him a little differently.
A photo was revealed through an online community describing how a television program in Thailand, which deals with strange and mysterious phenomena, introduced a small town that believes in a goddess captured inside a small photo.
The catch? The ‘goddess’ in the picture turned out to be none other than Kim Jae Joong.
The picture of the k-pop star was randomly taken by a villager and since then, the ‘woman’ in the picture has been treated as a goddess who gives protection over the town. The townspeople carry the picture around their necks and even perform rites for their goddess.
The photo of Kim Jae Joong was actually taken when he sported platinum blond hair for an album.
Netizens, who saw the photos, commented, “He must really be beautiful to be mistaken to be a goddess instead of a god,” “And it turns out their goddess is actually a Korean man,” and “How devastated they’ll be when they find out who he really is.”
In the meantime, Kim Jae Joong is currently acting in the MBC drama, Time Slip Dr. Jin.

[NEWS] 120628 JYJ’s Junsu shows his affection for his look-alike, Insoo of MYNAME
JYJ‘s Junsu sent his love to his look-alike, Insoo of MYNAME.
On June 28th, Insoo posted on MYNAME’s official Twitter, “A big present arrived for me, someone who has received a lot of help from the fact that people commented that I look like Junsu sunbae ever since my debut… Each [of his] word is a like a big lesson for me…You’re the best! Let’s get food sometime and play soccer, Junsu hyung!!! Thank you!!^^” along with a photo.
In the picture, Insoo is seen holding up a signed album from the sunbae his has looked up since his past. The hand-written message from Junsu reads, “Let’s get food sometime. Are you good at soccer?” showing Junsu’s affections for his younger look-alike.
Fans commented, “How nice of Junsu“, “They really do look alike“, and “Even eating together! Insoo is so lucky“.

[NEWS] 120628 JYJ’s $3.2 million fan service!!!
Popular idol group JYJ members Kim Junsu and Kim Jaejoong attended the opening event for the fan fair ‘JYJ Membership Week’ at the SETEC in Daechi-dong, Seoul on June 28th. JYJ member Park Yoochun was not able to attend the event due to an eye infection.
Some 3,700,000,000 KRW (about $3.2 million at press time) have been invested into the ‘JYJ Membership Week’ taking place in 3 exhibit halls of about 3,000 pyong in size (about 107,000 sq ft). There are holograms of the JYJ members, the stage outfits and personal items of the members, screen tunnels and more, truly plenty of experiences prepared for the fans.
Kim Junsu and Kim Jaejoong appeared very happy to provide the event for the fans and the excitement could really be felt in the atmosphere. There were many fans from overseas as well as Korea and some of the Japanese fans could be seen in the crowd in particular.
JYJ truly seem to be a group that strives to stay connected to the fans as made evident through their efforts and the fans are all the more appreciative of their favorite stars for it.
[NEWS] 120628 JYJ’s Jaejoong updates fans on Yoochun’s eye infection
JYJ‘s Jaejoong has updated fans on the condition of fellow member Yoochun‘s eye infection.
Jaejoong took to his Twitter and wrote, “For JYJ membership week, the C-jes family worked really hard; fans, please enjoy to your heart’s content~. Although I felt very bad for Yoochun after seeing his [swollen] face today, he was smiling widely while watching the exposition [progress]~. Don’t worry too much ^^.”
Along with the tweet, Jaejoong uploaded a picture of himself and fellow member Junsu standing in front of a huge JYJ poster. The event at which the picture was taken was at the ‘JYJ Membership Week’ exposition organized by JYJ and C-Jes Entertainment.
During this event, we reported that Yoochun did not take questions from reporters. It has been revealed that the reason behind this is because Yoochun caught an eye infection, and as a result his face became swollen. Specifically, Yoochun seems to have an acute case of conjunctivitis, also known as the pink eye or Apollo eye, caused by internal bleeding. It is a common eye infection, which induces a stinging kind of pain.
Due to these events, it seems that Jaejoong found it necessary to communicate to his fans about Yoochun’s health and his thoughts concerning the exposition.
Fans who read the tweet replied, “So Park Yoochun-ssi had conjunctivitis,” “I like that Jaejoong-ssi [took the time to] deliver this piece of news to us like that,” and, “Even though you probably caught the eye infection after working so hard, [please] get well soon.”
