Tears of the Japanese fans, who participated in the 2012 JYJ Membership Week that is held from the 28th to the 1st of next month at SETEC, could be seen.
2012 JYJ Membership Week is a large-scale fan service project with a 3.7 billion won budget by CJES Entertainment for their members.
For an Expo that is like no other, CJES entertainment spent 4 months to prepare for the event by combining state-of-the-art programs with JYJ content. Also, there was no commercial intent as admission was free to fans with things like water, fans, popcorn and etc provided. 10 photo sticker machines were also placed. It was literally a big fan service.
This large-scale Membership Week event is the first fan expo in the country and it has become a huge topic as it is expected to bring 7024 Japanese fans in. On the 28th and 29th, Japanese fans flew in from 14 airports and have started flocking to the exhibition this afternoon. Photos of JYJ and 3D images as well as space displaying personal items gained explosive reactions and cheers of joy from fans who entered the exhibition.
Utaka Kimie (49 years old) said, “This is an event that you cannot find in Japan. I’m touched by the huge effort that was put in. Even though we are unable to see JYJ in Japan often, I am extremely grateful with such an event.”
Miyakawa Eri (28 years old) expressed, “I was surprised that everything is free and I felt like this was a huge present. I think I am going to love JYJ forever.”
This expo is expected to be visited by 15,000 fans in Korea. At the opening of the expo yesterday, Korean members expressed, “I am proud to be a JYJ fan. To not have commercial interest and have a large-scale exhibition purely to see JYJ is really like a dream,” and “Even though it is difficult to see JYJ on broadcasting channels, it is really good to be able to see them at the gallery and theatre here at this expo and I feel that it is precious.”
On Saturday, 30th of June and Sunday, 1st of July, JYJ plans to have an enjoyable fan meeting event with their fans.

With JYJ, we can see a lot of “First..” Our boys are really pioneers and trendsetters in the industry with all their creative and impressive projects. If next year this event can be open to I-fans as well, I’m sure it’ll be even more explosive and huge.
Totally agree!
I’m happy for those who were able to attend. Hopefully there will be a time for me to leave Hawaii to enjoy the moment. Safe journey everyone. : )

…
God is not blind to the truth
The arrogant builds Titanic;
The humble builds Noah’s Ark.
Hopefully more overseas media cover JYJ growth
story more accurately.
Kudos to CJES and JYJ!
“I am proud to be a JYJ fan. To NOT have commercial interest and have a large-scale exhibition purely to see JYJ is really like a dream,”
This is so touching! JYJ showing their genuine love for their fans without making any profit.
And that this large scale expo & fan service being the first? WOW!!!

without any airing time in Japan like other Korean artists do,
how JYJ can promote their new performance & increase popularity?
Is it possible to bring the Tokyo Dome audience to Seoul ?
150,000 fly over to watch JYJ
fans forever is what we’ll be

great marketing strategy~JYJ fighting!!
Hi, we appreciate the great effort Cjes & JYJ have put in the membership week. Yet, we would like Cjes do more communication with overseas media / press for JYJ background and ongoing effort on being excellent.
Not if some media apparently friendly to ” SX” or not familiar with JYJ, pls find below the media report on the JYJ membership week, surprisingly, the MAJOR MERITS were MISSED OUT in the story :
(a) the production cost : 3.7 million won ( FREE of charge for members as thanksgiving, with drinks, snacks etc, ) totally unlike the listed company “SX” groups, frequently hold concerts in Asia countries, make ppl feel like being ATM machine, eg Taiwan, the community has been stirred for some of “SX” idols group eg, ” SxJx” held concert 4 times within 6 mth in Taiwan)
This creates negative images for other Korean stars not from that label. Recent Taiwan media focus on Junsu’s concert income was one of the side effect. Fans love Junsu has been irritated and fight back for Junsu in forums , facebook, weibo, twitter etc. Xia Tarantallegra concert worth the cost w/o special sponsor.
(b) why JYJ is not able to perform in Japan? ( not they fail going to Japan frequently, the FACT should be told to the overseas markets)
(c) 2009 legal dispute contained far more significance, its about human right and labor benefit. Overseas mass media will think it was merely benefit / $ matter.
(d) the media still uses JYJ forsaken stage names : Hero, Micky, Xiah Junsu. JYJ 3 guys have said they do not like to use those stage names anymore.
( Pls SG fans, help JYJ on this if possible )

To avoid JYJ being misunderstood overseas, and awkward questions being put to them again, hope Cjes put more effort in this.
16, Oct, 2010 JYJ press conference SG ( AWKWARD)
===========================================
awkward questions asked to JYJ-
Q. How does it feel now there’s only 3 of you working together instead of 5. Do you feel more lonely or more enjoyable?
JYJ : Yoochun paused 5 seconds & hard to respond to this awkward question, he spoke to Junsu & Junsu candidly & politely replied, later with PR brief b4 spoke up again.
Dear, that year so many heart broken things happened to JYJ, ( not only legal matter, but one close hyung left that crashed JYJ).Pls overseas media, google on your side before ask or report JYJ news to the public.
Ahhhh, that’s the secret of the success of JYJ – doing everything with their hearts. Very touching……^^……. a GREAT project purely for their beloved supporters. Deeply appreciated the talent and hard work of everyone of CJES, well done guys!!!! I wish I could be there too…..guess it must be great to enjoy this fabulous event with thousands and thousands of people who share the same similarity – love JYJ…..^^
albeit the three have a momentary of nostalgia seeing their jap fans supporting them and wished to be back to those old days when they could stand in the stage with their huge jap fans, freely . hope the ban is already resolved so they could appear and sing to them with jap singles and appear on tv shows . the fans must have missed them alot and i bet if they hold a concert in the tokyo dome once more ,even though they will not going to have a grandscale promotion (unlike the rival company) the dome will be filled up and even more .
btw , i loved seeing the enthusiasm of these jap fans . they intend to really listen well to jyj when they sing. And only respond when the singing ended. They really hav respect to their fav artists .
