Singer, actor Kim Jaejoong has become the magnanimous man.
In episode 14 of MBC’s weekend drama ‘Dr.Jin’, we can see the ‘magnanimous love’ that Kim Kyungtak has for Youngrae.
Kyung invited Jin Hyuk and other doctors of the clinic to his wedding ceremony. He wanted to make Youngrae, who was in pain of her brother’s death and of her broken medicine dream, feel happy.
But then, aware that Youngrae possibly had breast cancer, he told Youngrae, “To me, your life is more important than this marriage,” and urged her to see Jin Hyuk, his love rival, showing his magnanimous side.
After watching, netizens commented “I knew that Kyungtak was tender but his determination is also strong.” “I also cried with him as his eyes were filled with tears.” “Heart-warming officer who is willing to lay down for the love of a woman.”
Regarding this, Kim Jaejoong said, “Nowadays, I’m so immersed into Kim Kyungtak role that I myself even thought, ‘Right, as long as Youngrae is safe’. As Younghui who was known to be dead is still alive and comeback, interesting stories will unfold. Please look forward to it.”

“Singer, actor Kim Jaejoong has become the magnanimous man.”
Love it, first and foremost Jaejoong is a singer who’s breaking the walls of acting and I’m very proud watching him as Kyung Tak.
When other actors have just to memorize their dialogue and internalize to do well, Jae has to undergo rigid physical training first for his action scenes, from holding up his unshed tears up to sword gymnastics and even befriend to his horse, he gets a lot more to do from an ordinary singer_actor, yes he’s really magnanimous, capable of boundless enthusiasm.
Jae, you are making me want to “eat” Kyung Tak every time I see him. Thank you for making him “a beautiful cake” in front of my eyes!!!! <(O-~)v
It’s just a foolish one-sided love in my eyes. I start to get tired of how the scriptwriter portrays Jaejoong’s character as one who follows a woman’s way like a good puppy. There’re better things to do for someone with so much potential like him. Admittedly, most of Takie’s epic scenes/moments so far didn’t involve YR. She’s just there to hurt him. Jaejoong’s played his role excellently nevertheless. Kyung Tak, when will you be able to smile freely and wholeheartedly? >__<
Concidering how fast writers have to work during the filming I’m surprised that they actually made the secondary characters so much more interesting then the main ones. All of them has a great storyline that make them has depth and conflict of emotions.
Because the bad part of KKT is his devotion to that girl (her silliness and unlogical, uncharacteristic behavior (that annoys me as much as Jin’s actions)) Jaejoong’s character is more interesting to the audience.
I thought the same about YR, she annoys me too much. I wonder if Min Young will ever cut down on how her tears flow like waterfall in almost all the scenes she’s in. I often don’t see the reason for her to cry at all and her tears don’t move me even a bit. Anyway, a man should have his pride. I think if after being played around like a toy, hurt, and taken advantage of so many times, he’s still succumbed to her and his unrequited love, the audience will be also pissed off and get tired soon. One shouldn’t overdo anything, even in the name of love.
sometimes we think MY has “destroyed” her well- built character merits in this role. Like in city hunter, bloody bullet wound on back shoulder ; Dr Jin, skin burnt on the arm, stripping showing her shoulder lines repeatedly….
For breast tumor checking, showed her cleavage again like SKKS, this time with Dr. Jin pressing around…
goosh..these repeated scripts quite tiring…
take advantages of Jaejoong endlessly….without any fidelity….is another big disaster
‘Dr.Jin’ Kim Jaejoong, heart-warming officer who is willing to lay down for the love of a woman
Who actially doesn’t deserve him.
indeed … she actually would rather be a slave than marry a man that would die for her ?
I know you can’t make yourself love someone but how can you not bear someone that love that much ?
if I was YR I will already turn mushy with all of affections and that loving eyes signals KT gave her. I know that we cannot force ourselves to love someone but we all can learn to love someone. To loving Dr. Jin blindly and knowing that he loves the woman that resembling you..does not mean he loves you!.
….as what Junsu said a few years back..”a woman should marry a man that loves her”… a man that willing to sacrifice, always at her side, do anything and everything to make his girl happy and KT has showed his love too much.
too much of something is bad enough…. for the viewers to endure. i.e we might get bored
. for the viewers to endure. i.e we might get bored
I’m already bored and stopped watching the whole episode starting from episode 5. Good thing that DBSK-JYJ Archive is making a KT cut, co you will be able to watch and understand the whole episode without the scenes of YR crying endlessly (and sometimes completely pointless), surgical scene and other unnecessary conversations.
she actually would rather be a slave than marry a man that would die for her ?
And not only that, she’s willing to let her mother to become a slave.
@zero-mania
“she actually would rather be a slave than marry a man that would die for her ?”
Marry a man who would die for her WHO LOOKS LIKE JAEJOONG!!!! Yep, no doubt about it, the girl is crazy, stupid and blind.
Exactly lilibaiyu!! Personally I don’t care about her, she can become a slave all she want, I just feel sorry for her mother))
Jaejoong ah, on your next dramas or movies, HOPEFULLY could be as hilarious as Ben Stiller~ the Fockers.
He is also mega loyal to his only love Pam, and willing to suffer a lot for her over the years
The Focker’s role is multi-fold , need sophisticated emotion charm to bring out the tears & humor, please , go for this kind of role where possible.
I just don’t like how RG is treating KKT. I can’t get why she is so cold with him even though she doesn’t like him, her character is kind. and she is kind with everybody but the one who keeps protecting her. wt is gr8 about Dr. Jin anyway :/
I wish his character would be like himself in real life cuz jj is more entertainin da whole show
Does Kyung Tak really love Young Rae or does he just idealize her? They are poles apart in character, & while she cares for other people & their suffering, irrespective of status, all Kyung Tak cares about is the approval of his evil father, inc killing innocent people to get it, & mooning over Young Rae. From what they’ve shown so far, he has no knowledge of her real personality, so how can he really love HER? Given the vast differences in their characters, it’s no surprise she doesn’t love him, & knowing that he is infatuated with her when she doesn’t feel the same would make her uncomfortable around him.
