Kim Junsu is finding success in all part of the world including Chile.
According to the popular Chilean channel ETC-TV’s Pop Chart on July 10, Kim Junsu’s first solo album Tarantallegra managed to place first on the chart.
In doing so, Kim Junsu became the first Korean artist to place first on the ETC-TV Pop Chart.
The explosive growth in popularity and attention on Kim Junsu in Chile is being attributed to JYJ’s March concert in the South American country.
Following the success of JYJ’s South America tour, the popularity of JYJ, its members, K-Pop and even Korea itself is said to have skyrocketed.
Kim Junsu was also happy to hear of his latest accomplishment saying, “I’m all the more happy to see the results from the world tour. Though Chile and Korea are far apart distance-wise, I’m truly happy to hear of fans there who listen to and love my music and I feel a greater sense of responsibility. Thank you.”
C-Jes Entertainment added, “Though Kim Junsu’s Asia tour has come to an end we are continuing to receive love calls from North America, Europe and South America and really feeling the popularity of a world star. We’re open to a lot of opportunities following our Asia tour and are currently contemplating our future plans.”
Kim Junsu’s Tarantallegra has been finding success all over the world since the album’s release, placing first in China’s latest music video site and placing first on a German Asian music chart.

XIA (JYJ’s Jun Su)’s “Tarantallegra” has become popular in Chile.
On July 10 (local time), XIA’s “Tarantallegra” ranked first on the Chile’s popular channel ETC-TV’s Pop Chart. ETC-TV Pop Chart is a music chart for popular foreign songs, and Jun Su became the first Korean singer who topped the chart.
XIA’s first solo album has topped several charts all around the world.
It’s popular in both China and Germany, and it’s also attracting a lot of attention as it ranked first on the Japanese iTunes and tenth on the Billboard World Ablum Chart.
One of the performing art crew in Chile says, “Since JYJ held a concert in Chile in March, their popularity has rapidly increased. Along with this, many people are showing their interest in Korea, so you can easily hear JYJ’s song as ringtones here. Many people are inquiring about another JYJ’s concert in Chile.”
XIA says, “I’m so happy about the result because I feel like it resulted from JYJ’s world tour. Chile is geographically far away from Korea, but I’m really happy and feel more responsibility when I see so many people who love my music. I really appreciate.”
C-jes Entertainment, XIA’s agency, says, “XIA’s concert tour of Asia is almost over, but there are constant requests coming from many countries in North America, Europe, and South America. We can see how popular XIA is as a world-renowned singer. We’re thinking of having another concert tour of Asia.”

i guess they won’t do that since for them our boys still became a dangerous people who can destroy hallyu wave system also if they do that then they are gonna admit that they all is the wrong side and felt more shame (if they still have it though)……am i too harsh ? i hope not because to be honest i am really sick with those people behavior……

ex-agency, they simply would not do so in overseas, this explains where the golden eggs are.
( Japan concert their major income source, they won’t let you in , no matter what)

Congrats Junsu! Our boys are proving that they can single-handedly bring fame and pride to the Hallyu wave in new territories. Those KFPCAI people must bite their own tongues now, tsk tsk. With this, we may think positively that future JYJ’s album has the potential to top the chart again as well.
