I agree because we’re sympathizing with KyungTak but I wonder if Dr. Jin or SSH fans are loving her so much because she’s so selfless when it comes to Dr. Jin, she maybe their hero, willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of the doctor.
If it’s in that aspect, maybe SSH’s fans will like her. But to be honest, bias aside, Kyung Tak aside, I still have a lot of reasons to dislike Young Rae. She’s such a lame character.

I don’t think that being religious AKA (in this case) “Christian” means that she is more merciful or understanding of the complexities of human emotions than any of the other characters who may be Buddhist, animist or have some other belief or lack thereof. She is just an immature girl who doesn’t think things through. Seems pretty obvious to me. Her world revolves around the man who she loves and therefore everything else becomes of secondary importance.
She reminds me of all the dumb kiddies I know who forsake higher education, family, responsibilities etc etc because she is in “love”. My problem isn’t really her character whom she has no control over because that is what the writers/editors etc are for but rather the actress herself. People say that this character just pisses them off and that they liked her better in “City Hunter” or “SKKS” but to me…she is just a mediocre actress who only knows how to cry or pout or do self-righteous “angry” speeches at the unfortunate male who plays the lead role. Other people just love her like crazy so it may be just….different tastes…..

With that religious thing, I pointed that out because that’s also my problem with the people around me, always talking about God and righteousness, going to church every now and then, bury themselves in prayers but lack compassion to less fortunate or to the people who need them. As what some say, it’s not the religion which can save us but our attitude and character . Oh yes, Young Rae is so compassionate to others except to KyungTak and her mother . It’s not necessarily that she’ll love back Kyung Tak but at least she’ll not take advantage of his love for her own agenda.

I won’t say what about, cause again, I don’t want to give anything away. This man……this is like the 3rd time he does that face. He opens his eyes really *WIDE* cause that means “I’m horrified!!!!” *cue dramatic music* Geez…..If he were a rookie actor……but he is NOT…..when will he get the memo? Can’t he ask LBS for some freaking tips?!!!

If I were him (I don’t know if he already did this) I would truly sign up for some private acting lessons. Probably not what he wants to do ’cause he most likely has an ego but he does need it. He is a wonderful man to look at and he seems to be kind to his co-actors but being a nice person and good looking is not enough for a serious actor. There has to be ability and he doesn’t seem to match up with his trajectory. A real shame to me but maybe I’m just too harsh. There is of course plenty of people who do like his acting just fine.
