Kim Junsu is bringing his music magic to the Americas and Europe.
On July 16, C-Jes Entertainment revealed Kim Junsu would be touring North America, South America and Europe in a world tour with plans to stop at two or three cities per continent.
The agency shared, “From the beginning we targeted not only Korea but also Asia with Kim Junsu’s solo album and aimed for abroad with the music video. We are in the middle of a successful Asia tour but have continued to receive an outpouring of requests from the Americas and other places abroad and we have thus decided to embark on a world tour.”
The agency also added plans for a new album saying, “With the world tour we are currently preparing a repackaged album. This new album will include an English single targeting the world and its music video will be produced in the U.S. We cannot disclose who yet but renowned staff members in America will be taking part [in the album].”
The dates and locations of the upcoming world tour will be revealed in the coming weeks.

No, I don’t think so. They mean a newly re-packaged Junsu “Tarantallegra” album with a new English language song and accompanying video.

East Coast would be GREAT!!! What about Atlanta?! I know it’s a long shot, but they’ve got that huge airport and you can fly there easily from ANYWHERE!!!

The only problem with a location like Atlanta, there really is no population pull. The mid-Atlantic/NE region has way more population to pull from – by plane, train (Atlanta’s station is a joke), bus, and car. This region is the most populous in the entire country. Atlanta is just too far away. Trust me, I know the area, my father’s family is from there, I went to school there. There is nothing there but Atlanta, not cost effective.

Hi, obviously Junsu worldwide tour shouldn’t be regarded as a factor affecting JYJ’s album.
Instead, he is the ONLY ONE now performs as singer , composer, dancer, musical & spreading JYJ names throughout the Asia tour.
Even after his Asia tour & returned Korea , other members still filming in Korea dear.
JYJ’s trio album long been “under construction” is no choice at all.
Lastly, Junsu needs to earn a living as well. If nearest markets can be realized, who craves to leave home that long?
*** Junsu’s musicals were not aimed at earning big bucks, Xia Tarantallegra Asia tour only 35,000 audience in 5 regions ,
recent kim hyun joong’s Japan concert already over 60, 000 ppl, not yet included those from China.
We feel so sorry for Junsu. He has no drama or movie to promote at Korea or neighboring regions ,
unlike JJ and Yoochun , whose fame so roaring in China now. In 1~2 years, the “income gap” alone will be so big to bear.
We support JYJ core music career, and their individual side development.

So in the year end there will be a new album for sure .. i think its worldwide album as cjes stated before and jaejoong said in “The day” movie fantalk.. when a fan asked when will you release new korean album he said next year so after new worldwide album a korean album … now there are single activities but i can see many jyj activities coming in the near future.

yeah ^^ keep our heads up yo. Junsu moving up is not a bad thing for JYJ. Perhaps this also means that jaechun has receive a good offer ^^ tho i must admid, i also starve for jyj album, but lets just be happy for the boys for their individual achievements.
Junsu’s tour for this is going to be in August…..and Jae’s movie won’t be out until September….and I’m sure Junsu will be done in September if not by September….I think after that JYJ will focus on their album as 3 after that…And from what the boys have been tweeting and etc…They already have some songs prepared, so a JYJ album by the end of this year is not impossible. ^__^
…Especially since Junsu is going to the US this week to record the new English song and MV. (Things are going not so slow.)
I love your optimism! I’m definitely not ruling out the JYJ album by year end. We all know how they love to spring surprises on us fans.
And congrats to my dear Junsu! After the success of the Asia tour, i’m not surprised that there will be one for the US and Europe. In fact it would be foolish not to. Strike while the iron is hot. If not now then when? The world is waiting!
I’m interested in know how you know all this? Also, JYJ is not going to disappoint their fans. Whether they release an album this year or next, they care and are working hard to make everyone happy! I think you’re right… it’s not impossible!

I was not a JYJ fan yet–JYJ came to L.A. in February or March and I became a JYJ fan in May 2012. Los Angeles has a HUGE Korean American community–I’m not Korean, but there are MANY Koreans in California! Especially young Koreans. I think JYJ SOLD OUT the last time they were here. We truly truly truly hope, after traveling across the miles and oceans…the reward will not less than that already offered in Asia markets. (nothing offensive, Euro zone quite unstable, US…. ).
And cjes ,while Junsu is touring worldwide, pls seriously rapport with PRC entertainment leaders, pave the success road for Junsu in PRC 13 million ppl markets!! Repacking should include both West and East markets. Many artists not living in PRC, can enjoy huge income just by focus at this market. ( many Taiwan, HK, SG, Malaysia stars and superstars ).
Junsu is well qualified to cross over with many other Asia superstars in many aspects. Pls don’t make him always look so “detached ” from the market, especially JYJ as trio this year is not possible. Junsu MUST be featured with friendly superstars to bring out ” friendly, legendary, humble images ” in PRC market.

If Junsu not penetrated in this realized market, in 1 to 2 years times, the “gaps” will be to large to bear.
