JYJ member Kim Jun-su’s first solo album topped the Chilean music chart last week. According to CJeS Entertainment on Friday, the singer’s new album “Tarantallegra,” released in May, topped the pop music chart on Chilean cable TV channel ETC-TV on Tuesday.
“It’s the first time that a Korean singer has been ranked in the top 10,” said a spokesperson for CJeS Entertainment.
Kim said he was thrilled by the accomplishment and feels the international appreciation of his music brings with it a “responsibility” to continue pushing forward.
“The fact that Chile is so far from Korea makes this so remarkable,” Kim said. “To think that I have fans who love me and my music over there – it makes me think I have a long way to go and a lot of responsibility on my shoulders.”
The 25-year-old star said that he attributed his world tour to the subsequent success of his album abroad.
Just days ago, the title track from the Hallyu singer’s debut album was also successful in Europe, becoming the No. 1 song on the Asian Music Chart in Germany.

that’s why hard for me to see another group and like them like i love JYJ right now….to be honest before i got so easily to like a boyband such A1,Boyzone,etc but after i knew JYJ, i found that i can’t see those group like as before. i mean they are good and i like their songs but it’s only like that……
i found something that i never get from another group before, something that makes me keep became fallin in love every time i heard the boys songs. Something that makes them became more special than any group that i ever knew both as a group or individual and these days i found an interesting new hobbies { monitoring and observe every step that JYJ took and their developed skill on acting also in their’s skill on song creation.}
Another element that attracts me/us is their friendship, brotherhood of the three!!! I believe no other band has such a precious friendship between the members!
I hope JYJ will stick together till they are old men, and still perform together! I bet they will still be handsome!

I think Junsu could be one of the “great one’s”, like Madonna. He has the drive, charisma and talent. Like the greats, he’s not afaid to break barriers. That’s the mark of a true artist. Just stay humble, Xiah, and remain your sweet self. Stay close to family. I have no doubt that you will reach superstardom–fighting!
Yes the more successful Junsu is , the more humble he becomes.
And his family really acts as his rock of Gibraltar, so many storms & darkness,
together they keeping each others, agree he must always stay close to his beloved family.
He is sweet, and his BOLDNESS to bring about wild contrast sometimes shocks us badly
yet, as artist, once in their life, breakthrough ordinary performance means new excitement
to us all, we try to adapt more , ha…ha….
