The members of group JYJ – Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu achieved first place in each of their own fields and are continuously thriving. JYJ released an album last year and finished a world tour this March even though they did not carry out any promotional activities. The members have been very active in their individual activities and their popularity hasn’t wane at all.
Kim Junsu (XIA)’s popularity in South America is extraordinary. His title song Tarantallegra beat Teen Top to emerge first on Peru’s weekly radio chart. Kim Junsu emerged first with 1,835 votes, ahead of other celebrities like Big Bang, Tokio Hotel, Justin Bieber and 2NE1 in a vote that consisted of 3,014 participants.
This is not the only sign of Peru’s ‘Junsu’s disease. After the confirmation announcement on the cities for Kim Junsu’s world tour, ‘PERUlovesXIA’, ‘PERUdeservesXIATOUR’ and other related words became the most searched words in real time on social networking sites. A representative from South America said, “After Mexico, Chile and Brazil’s concerts are confirmed, fans from Peru, Colombia, Bolivia and Argentina were greatly disappointed.”
Kim Jaejoong’s drama Protect the Boss is receiving explosive popularity in Japan while reservations for Kim Jaejoong Special Making DVD emerged first on HMV, Amazon and Rakuten’s charts in just one day. The DVD is scheduled for release this November.
A representative said, “The broadcasting of Protect the Boss on TBS happened to occur during the special summer holidays in Japan, so it received tremendous popularity.” 1,500 female fans flew to South Korea to attend Kim Jaejoong’s Dr Jin fanmeeting on Jul. 22. The fans were even eager to find the restaurant that Kim Jaejoong frequently patronizes.
Park Yoochun is going on an Asia fanmeeting tour for his drama. From Sungkyunkwan Scandal in 2010 to Rooftop Prince, the dramas that Park Yoochun acted in have received tremendous popularity in Asia. The fanmeeting tour will begin in Shanghai, China on Aug. 25 and then to other countries like Taiwan and Thailand.
A representative from C-JeS Entertainment said, “Depending on the situation, it is also highly possible that we may include 1 or 2 more countries [in the tour].” Park Yoochun also emerged first in Taiwanese mass media “Yes celebrities” and “Le Le Xiao Huang” in a “The best male lead” survey for viewers. He received 15,000 votes (71%) out of 22,000 votes. Dr Jin’s Song Seung Hyun came in second with 11.3% and Phantom’s So Ji Sub was third with 8.3%.

I understood what’s you mean,friend. I want JYJ joint concerts too.
In other hand, I have been understand why they have been done individual activities more than in the groups.
Since JYJ left SM, they use many dirty tricks to stop their activities in Korea even Japane (we all knew that).
So JYJ have to find the way to survive, they have been done individual activites, but they support each other. That’s enough for me.
I think if JYJ want to have the concents, but first they have to have the good songs, the best procedure, the place to perform…ect.
Remember, now not many Korea’s musical want to work with them, even the newspapers or TV in Korea haven’t been written or given the news about them at all ( we only knew about their CD, Abums, Drama, Musical through internet and bought it on line).
I really happy if they are successful at every activities they have been done.
The main point I wish they nerver give up and support each other forever.

I am very much surprised. If Dr Jin is in it, why isn’t Jaejoong on the list? Because he is not the first lead actor? I dooooo think JJ overshadows everyone. !!! ???
Song Seung Hyun has a very strong base outside of SK because he has been acting longer than Jaejoong. They prefaced by mentioning Dr. Jin, due to that being SSH’s latest drama. This is Chunnie’s 3rd drama. I doubt seriously is there was any slight intended.
I think this is for lead actors only, and Jaejoong hasn’t been a lead actor yet.

This is a good news for the fandom who understands JYJ’s situation, but for general Kpop populace, JYJ being a singing group, this kind of article will just give more room for people to compare the three as singers and look down on Jae Chun and support their theory that Junsu is better off without the two.

Regardless of what others say, there is nothing like this bond. Too bad those people don’t get it. The trouble with folks like these, who don’t have a clue, they don’t know how to view things positively in life. Everything is a negative. instead of being pessimistic, why not be joyful of such positive news, and JYJ should make the news to reach the korean public.

I don’t think so. Those who will come to that conclusion already have that thought in their head. We should not curtail any of their solo careers just for the sake of such people.
That’s my boys! JYJ were successful as a group, then they all climb to the top with their individual activities as well. In a little more than 2 years, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu started from scratch, overcome every obstacles along their way, establish their own name and make it widely known, then branch out to build their individual careers. They deserve all the respect and admiration for that. I can’t find another group as great as JYJ.
