After the last shooting for MBC‘s ’Time Slip Dr.Jin‘, JYJ‘s Jaejoong held an interview at a cafe in Gangnam where the veteran idol shared his two-cents on the recent controversies regarding teamwork within idol groups. He commented, “Honestly there aren’t any idol groups that do not have problems.”
Jaejoong added, “Idol groups are not family either. Plus when there are many members, there are bound to be members who are closer and connect better with each other than others. Having problems within a team is inevitable.”
He also revealed how JYJ sustains such a strong bond with one another. He stated, “We definitely talk about the good things, but we also talk about the bad things,” and added, “Eric hyung recently posted a picture of Shinhwa on Kakaotalk, and when I commented, ‘It’s good to see you guys together, it’s really cool,’ he answered, ‘We are pretending like we are close.’ I think the reason he can say something like that so freely is because they are really close. Our members are kind of like that too.”
The idol star expressed his affection towards his members, adding, “When all three of us are together, it feels complete. I’m full of confidence (when I’m with them). It’s better together than alone, so when I’m going to try harder than I did when I was alone.”

That’s the way it should be Jaejoong, it’s called COMMUNICATION. It’s the hallmark of any successful relationship. If it means anything to you, you do what you can to keep the lines of communication open. No surprises that way. Keep doing what you’re doing.

and that’s not surprising at all in most groups.
Is this a leader’s prerogative to talk/promote his members and group in any way possible or that’s just so naturally Kim Jaejoong always there to protect what he has like Kyung Tak. I can feel he’s dedicating his music career to the name JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong not to Kim Jaejoong alone, I just hope he won’t be disappointed, he had more than enough from the past.
Eric was being his 4D self but for other groups tht is true. Shinhwa members gave up a lot to be together. Tht why I’m really sad about the TVSQ thing and can’t understand those 2members.

Sometimes I want to think that they are pretending to protect their love ones… but then again….. you will feel sick as if
something just slowly eating you inside-out and you can’t live anymore…..if that really happens here.
BUT
The 2members had not showing that sickness sign … They had done major time BETRAYAL as friends and it’s difficult to forget that even if you forgive them later.
what i learned is, most groups that pretend to be close, won’t say it out loud that they’re pretending or they’re not close (unless when they’ve disbanded like h.o.t) ^^
Each member’s time allocation is very crucial. When 1/4 of the year invested outside music career, it takes more energy & time to re-positioning.
(*** and it is common for actors / actresses AT LEAST to commit at least 3~4 TV dramas /movies yearly in Asia, if he or she want to be more included into the industry )
Just like Jae’s another interview, revealing that he knows JYJ positioning is ” a bit strange”, neither a rookie nor very long- time band eg Shinhwa.
Strongly agree JYJ MUST stand close together as trio, as fans, watching a solo Junsu fighting against groups of singers on charts is quite “weary”. Most charts are now dominated by groups , and groups are more able to gain fans’ collective support. I want to see JYJ shines again early next year, trust that the 3 are more ACE members always.
@JYJ Global Listener: off topic, but i think, dbsk debut indeed debut in a “strange” time. at 2003, they’re really young whereas other idols in 2003 are the “original idols” like g.o.d and shinhwa. suju-ss501-big bang are another roster. all in all, dbsk are unique seniors by themselves, i guess.

Jaejoong feels complete with JYJ now.
The three of them have gone through thick and thin together; they’ve stuck with each other even during the lowest and most depressing stage of their careers, so the bond among them is definitely strong. I hope JYJ will maintain the friendship, teamwork, and harmony within the group for years and years to come.
They will .. they are more than friends .. they are what we can call BROTHERS BY CHOICE. They decided that come hell or high water, they’ll be fighting TOGETHER for what they believe in. They chose the hard path, but they are definitely coming out better and stronger.
I hope too… I pray for it .. For them and for me ^^ I need to see their harmony once in a while to believe that I can find it too.
if they only stayed with sm, i wouldn’t argue too much, maybe they have their own reasons. what i find disappointing is they talked bad about jyj. as if it’s not enough that their company is jyj’s archenemy and always try to bring these boys down. they had a choice to be silent like other sm idols, yet they choosed to bring jyj down.
