Kim Jaejoong starred in Dr Jin as Kim KyungTak and he received favorable reviews from the viewers for his ability to make the drama come to life.
Kim Eungsoo from the Andong clan in the Joseon Dynasty was Kim KyungTak’s father, but he could only call him My Lord as he was an illegitimate son. He was a character that failed to win the affection of his first love/fiancée, Young Rae (Park Min Young).
He was also a sad and ill-fated character who reformed the devastated country by wrecking his family and turning against his best friend, Young Hwi (Jin Yihan).
Although this was his first historical drama challenge, he showed acting that was compatible to the genre. In particular, the character’s whole-hearted devotion for a woman received the viewers’ strong support.
As the drama continued, the viewers began to be attached to Kim KyungTak. He was seen as a character who spoke firmly and looked tough on the outside, but was soft-hearted on the inside. One of the highlights of the drama was the tears that flowed because of his destiny to cross swords with his best friend.
Dr Jin gave JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong an opportunity to establish himself as an actor.
We give the young stars in their 20s, Park Min Young and Kim Jaejoong an applause for their enthusiasm and hard work in all the 20 episodes of Dr Jin over the past three months.

Dr Jin gave JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong an opportunity to establish himself as an actor.
Exactly. No matter what people say, I’ll forever consider this drama special for it gives a great venue for Jaejoong the actor to develop his acting potentials. He’s like enrolling to an acting university, working first hand with Lee Bum Soo. Kim Byung Hee, JiHan and all other awesome support actors, I think it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. With it’s flaws, this drama has still a great story to tell if you focused to the good points but if the viewers is too busy nitpicking on something to criticize, what a pity they can’t enjoy the fruit of Jae’s hard work and sacrifice.
Congratulations Kim Jaejoong and the whole Dr. Jin team.

Hated the drama to bits……..but I loved JJ, his father, LBS, and Jin Yi Han’s parts. They should have re-written the drama without the main leads….seriously.
I love always watching JJ improve from the first episode to the last. It’s like watching someone actually progress which makes me very happy. He did such a good job. And his character was so well written….except for his super obsession with YR.
It is so right to say that Jaejoong brought this drama to life.Without him this drama would have be a big flop with all these big name actors in it.
I still have the last epi to watch; I’m worried about the ending, esp. seeing previews

wish that minyoung and jaejoong play as a couple in another drama…oh plizzzz all the korean director i beg you..xD
The character Kim Kyung Tak helps establish Jaejoong as an actor, and taking part in Dr. Jin gave him a chance to learn from many experienced senior actors. Haeung’s and Takie’s stories are what attracted viewers. Toward the end, Jaejoong no longer acted his role, he has “become” Kyung Tak. I shed too much tears for this Joseon man. T__T
Not the same can be said about PMY. Her character is supposed to be the heroine, but most viewers either find Young Rae annoying or totally dislike her. She can’t elicit empathy from the audience with her actions and logic. PMY only has a few expressions throughout the drama, and by now I simply roll eyes and fast forward whenever she opens her tear gate. >__<
uwaaaaa~~~ hope the next drama, jaejoong will act as a gangster keh keh keh~~~ xD or a funny husband…that would be great!
