The JYJ REACH: JYJ Philippines Flood Relief Charity Project was launched last Thursday, August 9, 2012. The project’s purpose is to help our brothers and sisters who were affected by the flood in the Philippines. (Click here for the announcement/ donation details.)
The turnout of the project was overwhelming due to the generosity and kindness of so many people. In three days, we were able to collect PHP 27,000 and the donations just keep on coming.
On August 12, 2012, the JYJ Philippines admins along with some volunteers went to the Philippine Red Cross to donate ready-to-eat-food and medicines.
The remaining amount from the donation will be used next week to buy goods and will be donated to a different organization. Through this, JYJ_PH will be able to maximize the accumulated donations and spread the JYJ Love to a wider range of area here in the Philippines.
****Here is the list of donors and expenditures. If you’ve donated and your name isn’t on the list, pls. notify us via e-mail (admin@jyjph.org). The donations sent from August 14-17, 2012 will be added in the next statement. Thanks***
We are very thankful to the support of the JYJ Family around the world to our Charity Project. Without you guys, this wouldn’t be possible. MARAMING SALAMAT!
**** Pls. watch out for the announcement of the 2nd phase of the Charity Project. We’ll keep you posted and hope more people would join us this weekend. ****
