I don’t mean to be cynical but I just don’t want everyone including myself and JYJ to be disappointed again. We always expect that it is almost over but the court always seems to let SM get away with another stalling technique. I have already decided that even if this goes on for anther ten years, we will just have to deal with it. And I don’t think SM will change even if they outright lose the whole lawsuit. We will still be fighting their persecution of JYJ. JYJ and JYJ fans FIGHTING no matter what.

I agree with you, & I don’t believe SM will stop the blocking anyway. They’ve actually won the lawsuit I think. It’s the amount SM has to pay JYJ that they are stalling on. & that will probably be drawn out for the next few years too :( But at least once this has been decided, it’s another step forward for JYJ, however small, & another step freeing them once & for all from SM’s clutches.

Your statement brings to the forefront the need for people to decide RIGHT NOW, if they are going to be in this for the long haul. LSM/SME are not going to change their stripes anytime soon. But I do believe Lady Karma will always be with the members of JYJ.

This is a war, and if you are squimish about fighting, then this is not place for you. People are going to have to suck it up and stand tall. No keeping the heads down! Expect anything and everything to come at us — the guys, and the fans.

I think that THIS is what matters right now. This is important. It’s what some of us here have waited a long long time for – justice for JYJ. I wish the part of the fandom that’s going ape shit right now about compiling the list of all of the things THEY NEED from JYJ RIGHT NOW would just cool out and wait for this court ruling. This is what is important right now and it’s what we should be focusing on. Maybe show a little respect and solidarity for the members who you claim to love so much and hang in there with them as SM throws everything at them that they can grab in this last few days of this long long process.

As long as that translation means what it says…I’m good to go. Champagne is still chilling. Ingredients for the snackies will be on hand. I’m going to keep a positive outlook here. Right now in this fandom, this is all that matters to me. ;-)

Well, my excellent friend, BAFfie – my V.E. Sister, I think I need not tell you that having been around the block a time or two, and having kept our eyes open the whole time and our bullshit radar on Full Scan, we have learned the value and wisdom of the phrase “Keep Your Eyes On The Prize.” You have taken this journey to justice for JYJ with me and I will love and appreciate you till my dying day. This has been a long hard slog through some dark, dark places but the camaraderie and faith I have seen and felt here has been really inspirational to me. We’re almost home now, my sister, yet the flying monkeys at SM have really dealt a death blow to the fandom with this latest trumped up NON-ISSUE, the angry petition telling the world what a horrible, unfair international fandom JYJ has, embarrassing and further beleaguering C-jeS .(as if everything else they’ve had to deal with just hasn’t been ~quite~ hard enough!) and, when JYJ hears of it, saddening and depressing them on the eve of Junsu’s tour. Good Lord. What a cluster-fuck.

So now I guess you and I will wait and see what the damage of this latest probably-SM-instigated “Problem” turns into. I really hope it doesn’t permanently damage the future of the international fandom. But it won’t damage one iota my love and belief in JYJ.

First off, as Gladys, Dionne, Stevie, and Elton, say…”That’s What Friends Are For”. ;-) Geez I love that song!

Yup, “Keep Your Eyes On The Prize”. Never, ever give up. The prize is worth all of it. But you know something, I wouldn’t trade this for anything. Even all the messes that pop up from time to time. It feels good to be there for someone else, supporting and keeping their backs. I’m not even going to spazz about what others think. You know why? Because at the end of the day, as I’ve said before, when I lay my head down on my pillow at night, I can go to sleep with a clear conscience. That’s a good feeling.

JYJ and the JYJ fandom are going to be all right. ;-)

LOL!!!!! My computer has had this internal virus that I had to remove manually but unfortunately it wasn’t as simple as it could have been if I had found it earlier so I had to reinstall Windows. I had my recovery disk so I was fine but it took like 2 hours to finish it all today. I come back to this. Not the ruling date (there is nothing funny about that) but the person who posted the news. There are bunny ears and a ‘fucksm’ hashhtag….just amusing.

Anyways, I don’t believe for a second that SME will start to respect the court’s decision when they never have before. I just don’t know what to think anymore. I really don’t want them to suffer at a higher court if SME decides to appeal the final ruling.

Well, apparently not all of us are “here for them.” The people who are now readying the petition full of dissatisfaction about what a horrible time they are having being fans of JYJ can not now be said to be “here for them.” They are here for themselves, their needs, their wants, their laundry list of “must-haves, Or Else.” This is a sad day for the ladies and gentlemen of JYJ3 because these people can not or will not stop. After all of this time. Turning their backs on JYJ right at the end when they are so close to winning the right to be free at last!

“true JYJ fans” SHOULD think of JYJ FIRST and FOREMOST and NOT of themselves…so, if they’re dissatisfied or whatsoever, then i’m so sorry to say but i can only consider them as “JYJ costumers”
So, to all TRUE JYJ FANS out there…please remain strong!
JYJ needs us the most right now

And to all our JYJ customers, i really hope all your issues will be settled as peacefully as possible

WTF? I was sick of the “true fans” logic of OT5s, and now somebody just has to pull this crap again in JYJ fandom too? C-JeS is pushing my tolerance limit, the only reason I haven’t dissed that company is because JYJ are still working with it. I thought we have learned to distinguish the artists from the company since the experience with SME, no? I love JYJ dearly and support them wholeheartedly, so I don’t need nobody to tell me how to be a “true JYJ fan.” And now we have the separate concepts of “true JYJ fans” and “JYJ customers” as well? Just wow! FYI, only fans are dedicated enough to buy expensive products released by their favorite artists, casual listeners will only buy their albums at most. Just because we love them doesn’t mean we have to suck it up and accept everything even though it’s not up to standards. By letting them know that there’re flaws, we hope they’ll correct the mistakes and do things better next time so that eventually all JYJ’s products will be perfect and satisfactory. Don’t assume that people have ulterior motives just because they choose to speak up.

Hi – No, no, I don’t think anyone should buy things they can’t afford or be bullied into thinking that there is only one way to be a true fan. I have also long rejected the concept of the true fan as being more rhetoric that is essentially manipulative. And I also have forgone expensive purchases of JYJ merchandise in the past that I just can’t afford. That’s not the point of all of this, I hope.

The point of the alternative view, it seems to me, is that to be fomenting dissatisfaction and dissent at this particular time is playing RIGHT into SM’s hands – that is EXACTLY what they want us to do: to start an argument that tears the fandom apart. I say, “Resist this bogus attempt at wrecking what some of us have spent considerable time building over the last 2 years – the JYJ international fandom.”

Please please do not let immediate gratification of your needs override what is important to us now – the well-being of JYJ’s international fanbase. Please do not create a destructive maelstrom within that important body of fans.

          @lili
Tell me why we need to fight among ourselves when the gist of the matter is that fans want to make their voices and concerns be heard by C-JeS by directly addressing all the problems to the company and making suggestions as to how it may improve. There’s a reason why I haven’t commented in that petition post. There’s just too much bullshit going on in the comment section. At one point, fans complained that there’s no way to give feedback to C-JeS, and then when some fansites decide to make the move of coming to talk to the company in hope of bridging the communication gap between fans and C-JeS, people start to over-react with “oh no, we shouldn’t do that. C-JeS is doing right, bla bla bla.” Huh? A successful company is one that knows how to listen to its customers and learn from its mistakes. We want to reach out to it because we care and we want it to improve the way it handles JYJ’s activities, not because we hate the company. I don’t worship C-JeS and keep one closed eye just because it’s working for JYJ.

Besides, the world doesn’t stop revolving because the final verdict date is coming near. Life goes on. Problems still have to be settled. JYJ are still working no matter what. Fans may complain, but they don’t stop loving JYJ nor do they support them any less. Do you know what will drive fans away faster? That’s when fans are not happy with what they get from JYJ. JYJ work hard for whom? For fans. Where does C-JeS make money from? From fans. SME can’t stop us from supporting JYJ although it’s tried so damn hard to hinder the boys’s activities and taint their names. But C-JeS is making a grave mistake to frustrate and irritate fans. How long can the “it’s a new company” excuse last? It’s been more than 2 years, one would expect it’s already known what it’s doing now.

“JYJ work hard for whom? For fans”
My opinion on this point is that they do what they do or like you said “work for” is for themselves first, that’s also why they left SM, for themselves, that’s just natural and logical… then because of their love for music, composing and singing, which goes hand in hand with the love for fans, who appreciate, love and support all their work.
Don’t get me wrong, fans are very important… but yeah, as I’ve said above…

I’m just answering to this only point…

“Tell me why we need to fight among ourselves when the gist of the matter is that fans want to make their voices and concerns be heard by C-JeS by directly addressing all the problems to the company and making suggestions as to how it may improve.”

I really hope you know how much it pains me to see fighting here… that’s certainly not what I want either. But there is an obvious disconnect here about C-jeS and their perceived lack of ability to perform to some fans expectations and beyond that, the feeling among some fans that they have the right to demand things that they have found lacking and further, it is the job of fans to “educate” C-jeS in the many ways they have failed to take fan’s concerns into consideration.

My feeling is that the reality of what C-jeS has had to deal with over the last 3 years is far far from normal, far beyond the range of a normal business conducting it’s business in a normal way. Thus, to my way of thinking, they deserve some forbearance, some further patience and support and God forbid, a bit of gratitude for continuing to do the hard job of representing JYJ. I just don’t think it’s right to conveniently forget what they are having to go through on a daily basis.

A thousand pardons for doing this but I JUST wrote a response to another poster on this very subject and so I am going to cut and paste it below because I think it’s important that you realize that I am not just being argumentative for no good reason.

My opinion of C-jeS is that they are working very hard against near impossible odds to overcome the constant blocking, back-door deals to ban JYJ in the media, etc. as well as the wide-ranging constraints and restrictions that SM has thrown in the path of every move they try to make inside S.Korea. (Something similar is going on in Japan with AVEX so JYJ can’t promote there now either.) Mr Baek has said that everything they try to do takes 4 times as long as normal because everything is constantly getting cancelled at the last minute, courtesy of SM wide-reaching influence. Fans who don’t know how hard it is representing JYJ, or simply don’t choose to know, are thus enraged on a regular basis and blame C-jeS as if they were just going about normal business as usual but because of their incompetence, things go wrong all the time.

I think this is unfair, I think C-jeS is doing the best they can for JYJ and I know that JYJ appreciate their efforts and despair of the amount of nightmarish frustration they have to go through to accomplish anything for them right now.

It just seems to me that mounting a protest for lack of services rendered to fans to C-jeS right now – this hamstrung, frustrated group of people trying their damnedest to keep JYJ in the public eye, releasing product and moving forward with their careers is just thoughtless and I’m sorry to have to say it, kind of spoiled. ALL this is going to do is upset the members of JYJ and make them unhappy. C-jeS is already doing everything they can to try to circumvent the blocking in every aspect of their daily business pursuits. In my opinion, what the petition people are talking about doing is little more than kicking a guy when he’s down, battered and bruised.

As I said yesterday, I still don’t know who started this petition situation but I sure would like to know. Like so many other trouble-spots here on JYJ3, for me it did not pass the smell test – it felt manipulative and above all hurtful to and for JYJ. Who would want to do that? The answer that readily comes to my mind is – SM and those who support them. They want to ruin JYJ. That’s what they’ve wanted since Day One. Please let’s not help them do it.

Let’s pray that the final verdict will firmly stand on Sept 13th. This is the end of the long painful lawsuit and free our guys from SME evil clutches and manipulation. I believed God has pulled them through during those difficult months, they became famous worldwide after they spilt. A lot of times they mentioned it was really blessing in disguise. Nothing will stop them in their path to higher ground and success . The best thing they are still very humble and down to earth. All fans to stay calm, like the recent ban on fancams -which should not happened before the ruling. this give opportunities to the enemy and sasaeng fans to create havoc and disturbance in the case for votes and petition. really not good. So pray for miracle and JYJ will triumph on this final day!

At this point in time, unless it’s already happened, I can’t take any court day seriously any more. Every single time we were this close to celebrating that it’d finally be over, the ruling date was pushed back or the court allowed SME to pull some tricks to stall judgement again. >__> The case has been dragged to an illogical point, what left is there to hear or say more? The judge had better just announce the damn final verdict already. Everyone is tired of waiting.

Excessively offset the lawsuit negative impact.

Emotional harm could never be restored, reality is different from court room . JYJ, pls take it

I don’t want to see you guys go on variety show / TV programs and ” bullied ” by the national

Honestly, none of court’s rulings have had any effect and have done no good at all in helping JYJ against SM. So no matter what, JYJ will just keep kicking ass the way they’ve been since the start of all this crap and leave the court and SM in the dust.

seriously these girls sound like that crazy OT5s when the fandom was in soompi
you are not real dbsk fan LOL,you are not a real dbsk lover LOL ..just read yourself O.O now you feel with the right to say who is a real JYJ fan? LOL…**shame **

JYJ is not Cjes O.O you can understand that
Cjes is just his employee ( a employee with many mistakes) JYJ are so busy with their own works and lifes what they cant check every details
that´s why JYJ contracted Cjes..but you dont want fans said anything about Cjes..
how cjes can learn..if you never said their mistakes
some JYJ fans never learn..you had two bad experiencies with 2 companies but you love being naive xD

even JYJ also believed in SME and Avex in the past time (hello masato matsurra) and they were betrayed.. but you never learn.. of course….
you never know what a company can make(even if our JYJ is the Boss this time and cjes is the employee)..the company will always search his own benefit before.
I even read from these Cjes lovers “Im grateful with Cjes,JYJ is a big star thanks to Cjes” LOL my gosh! you act like Cjes is a big favor to these poor wannabes called JYJ LOL JYJ already was a big star…many small companies(like Cjes) could be his agency bcuz JYJ is/ was a powerful artist(you know..they were artists from that group called dbsk)
dont act like if the poor cjes saved them LOL JYJ did a big favor to them when they chose Cjes like their company..dont act like if cjes even saved them in the lawsuit and fight with sme..these were the lawyers.
I even read in twitter ” I dont believe JYJ leave Cjes someday ,this would be a betrayal..cjes support them so much…my JYJ will never betray Cjes” O.O
O.o God! some fans really seems cjes lovers more than jyj lovers

if someday JYJ want to leave Cjes and make their own agencies..just like shinhwa boys(every boy have his own agency)WHAT WILL YOU SAY?
JYJ is a betrayer ?? LOL
tell me “you are a real JYJ fan” now LOL
Im not a Cjes lover,I dont believe in them bcuz they are just a company..I only love and believe in Jaejoong,Junsu,Yoochun

surely Im not a “real” JYJ fan lol

I agreed! Cjes just agency, their main point is how to make money. I don’t trust them 100%.

I only trust Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun. I pray for their success and hope they will win the case on 13 Sept.

The reason I believe JYJ is very simple bc they are very brave, they stand up for their freedom, they’ve fighting the bigest ent. company.

Only thing they have that their talents, their voices, their music and they haven’t been known what will be happened. But they still made decision left SM, so that why I love them forever and I don’t care what’s people gossips about them.

Why they left when they on the top of successful in Japan and around Asia? Is that make sence to you, who are unhappy about JYJ. Lol

Dear, you are obviously new here if you don’t know that lilibaiyu is one of the most objective, incisive, and outspoken ladies here in this side of the fandom but at least she tries to keep things as neutral as possible. Micky07 is also a regular here who’s been posting with moderation. I think it’s okay to agree to disagree with the others, but please do so in a less sarcastic manner. As I have observed in these related posts, people are trying to be rational about this. Let’s stick to the issues and not take things down to a personal level.

“that lilibaiyu and micky07 girls O.O my god! seriously these girls sound like that crazy OT5s when the fandom was in soompi”

Hi, perhaps I can clarify a few things about myself. Like you, I also don’t believe in the concept of the “true fan.” I’ve said it countless places, countless times. I also have never before belonged to a DBSK anything, although I’ve listened to them for years. I live in the US, so the idea of fandoms with rules and regulations, catch-phrases and of course fan-wars is all new to me. I came to JYJ3 as a great admirer of the talents of Jaejoong, Junsu and Yuchun and I was also interested in following the progress of the lawsuit to free them from SM. Just for the record, I think SM and AVEX are the worst possible entertainment companies, but then so apparently do JYJ.

So I’m not a “crazy fan” I’m foremost interested in justice for JYJ and of course I also love their music and their other talents as well. (I also really love k-dramas and watch them a lot so I’ve seen all the guys’ forays into the acting world.)

My opinion of C-jeS is that they are working for JYJ, working very hard against near impossible odds to overcome the constant blocking, back-door deals to ban JYJ in the media, etc. and the wide-ranging constraints that SM has thrown in the path of every move they try to make inside S.Korea. (Something similar is going on in Japan with AVEX so JYJ can’t promote there now either.) Mr Baek has said that everything they try to do takes 4 times as long as normal because everything is constantly getting cancelled at the last minute, courtesy of SM wide-reaching influence. Fans who don’t know how hard it is representing JYJ, or simply don’t choose to know, are thus enraged on a regular basis and blame C-jeS as if they were just going about normal business as usual but because of their incompetence, things go wrong.

I think this is unfair, I think C-jeS is doing the best they can for JYJ and I know that JYJ appreciate their efforts and despair of the amount of nightmarish frustration they have to go through to accomplish anything right now.

One last thing, if you’re going to be posting here from now on, it’s probably best not to call fellow posters “crazy” because you don’t agree with them. We don’t bash here – we discuss, differ occasionally and learn.

        Dear Lilibaiyu,

I’m here since this blog have been created, of course I do not comment frequently because I’m a silent reader, but I have enjoying alot of your comments.
In the recent days for the first time I do not agree with your opinion related to Cjes. But it’s okay because we all are different human beings so it’s okay to have different opinions.

I understand what you say about Cjes, they need to work harder for JYJ because of SM. You say fans need to know more before judging Cjes, but actually the Fans who live in korea are the people who know more about Cjes.
Probably the petition sound demanding, but I blame this to the translation…I think what they want is to reach Cjes and find the way to help them. People say you are just fans, and in other ocasion i also would say GTFO! but we are talking about JYJ, their current situation is so different from other artists,,,people even compare Beyonce to them lol, Beyonce isn’t banned from US TV…The Fandom have played a very important role to keep JYJ alive, it’s not only thanks to Cjes. The korean Fandom may not be perfect, but they have done so many projects to JYJ, I think this is why this time they feel the need to help Cjes…
People think that because nothing have happened that tamished JYJ reputation, Cjes is doing good job..People need to know more about the fandom..so many things happened in the japanese fandom, so much justified complains…what are we waiting? and this is just one part….Actions must be taken before this start to affect JYJ’s image…let’s not wait to the last minute, we must prevent..we all want the best for JYJ,

I also agree with you that we must focus on the lawsuit. But this responsibility it’s not only for fans if not to Cjes, I think Cjes should have wait a little before causing all these arguments…we also don’t know if everything will end in September 13th, This korean friend told me: “SM will find a way to drag more this lawsuit, they probably will appeal to the final verdict” T.T

Please I also want to say you (and all readers) don’t imply that all the people who signed the petitions only think about themself…I think that sounds not so nice and offending, because Korean Fans have worked so hard to support JYJ, the same the team members of this blog. Please let’s respect people who have different opinions.

“Dear Lilibaiyu, I’m here since this blog have been created, of course I do not comment frequently because I’m a silent reader, but I have enjoying alot of your comments. ”

Hi Yae, it’s very nice to meet you. I appreciate your comments and I respect your point of view. I enjoy it here on JYJ3 because we can discuss things in a friendly manner, we can disagree, it’s OK.

I’m glad to meet a Korean fan because there is something I have longed to ask you. Why has there never been an organized protest directed towards SM? No one ever mentions WHO is doing all the blocking and banning that SM is doing, the media is silent, Korean fans are silent about that. Why was there no protest against the Korean TV stations that either refused to allow JYJ to perform, disrespected and cancelled Yuchun from doing promotion for his past drama and cancelled JYJ’s performance in support of Jeju Island. At the bottom of all of this malicious and illegal activity there is SM Entertainment, who really truly DESERVES massive agitation and protest for the despicable things they are doing, day in day out, yet Korean fans do nothing. SM richly deserves to be sent petitions, their products boycotted, etc. every single week, which would then be reported in the media no doubt. But there’s nothing.

So then, because you like JYJ and you therefore feel you have a perfect right to do so, you now want to mount an organized protest against JYJ’s company, C-jeS for failing to live up to your expectations in a variety of ways, choosing to somehow not acknowledge the largely thankless battle they’ve had to keep JYJ alive and active, against nearly impossible daily odds for the last 3 years. THAT protest, you can really see the value of.

Help me out here, because I don’t get it. Does this make any sense to you?

I would love to see many petitions to ask SM to obey the court order and stop their non sense toward JYJ’s music career. Let JYJ appear on TV and receive awards and promote their music just like every artists in SK.

PS. Cjes may not be “all-that” in a management company, but how many other entertainment companies do you think would really “touch” JYJ and help them, considering all the trouble they are having just promoting themselves at this time, especially if they know about SME’s ‘attempts’ to block JYJ? Hmmm?

Whether or not JYJ stays w/ Cjes after this is all over, is up to them. Whether they make their own company somewhere down the line, is up to them. JYJ can do whatever is best for themselves. If they are happy where they are, then so be it. All I want as a fan, is good music. :)

All I want to say is that Jae, Junsu and Chunnie should try to seek out the BEST lawyers in their country to review all their future projects in the entertainment and business field. I’m just hoping this disaster with SM will propel them to make sure their lawyers review ALL FUTURE CONTRACTS, and especially pay close attention to all items in small print. This frustrating episode is a lesson to all JYJ fans–read ALL contracts carefully! Also, when you go to the store, make sure the cashier has given you the right change! (smile)

    Dear Lilibaiyu,

Since I have been joined JYJ3, you are the one I spent time to read all your comments bc your posted tell me you have a knowledge about music and how to run the company bc you run music business for 30 years.

I am not run a business like you, but I can answers all your questions above. ” WHO is doing all the blocking and banning that SM doing, the media is silent, Korea’s fans are silent about that………but there NOTHING” What’s you said THAT’S TRUE and I agreed.

The reason the medias and broadcast stations haven’t been done ANYTHING at all bc Kpop systems CORRUPTION FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM. If you read the history about Kpop, you will understand.

Example: HOT the first boyband from SM, when they sliped (only Kangta stay with SM) another the three members when they released their first album, all the TV and broadcast boycotts their songs with reasons some of the songs were about LSM (same like the song “Pierott” of Jaejoong) if produces accepted HOT appeared in their TV or broadcast so all SM singers will boycotts their broadcast or talk shows …etc. All the medias and produces afraid of LSM (SM have all famous singers in the Korea and their singers have a lot of fans until now but I’m not sure about qualities now). If that situations happend will affect their rating in TV, talked shows ….etc. So that the reason the first album of three member’s HOT band had to stoped.

LSM and SME , they have money so they can bribe the BIG BOSS of medias or broadcasts. If you read some news about Kpop sometimes producers or even musicans went in jail bc received bribe and let the singers of that company appear more in TV or their singers’s songs on the TOP of Kchats.

In my opinion, CORRUPTION is the BIG issues in Kpop. It will take a long long time to change it. And I don’t know what’s LSM will do next, he will drag the case more time and what’s else? We just wait and see. I don’t think that will stoped after the verdict, maybe SM will appeal again.

About JYJ Korea’s fans, they are silent about that. At this point, I think you are right. Until now I still don’t work out why they behave like that bc the case have been taken more than three years. ” PEOPLE ARE THE POWERS” do they know that? Can all of them stand up for JYJ?

Hi – thanks for your response. I have also learned about the appalling corruption within the SK entertainment community. I’ve been studying the situation there over the last 3 years or so. So I agree with you – it’s BAD and seemingly entrenched. I see that the allied industries of SM such as TV stations, radio, CD manufacturers, concert halls etc.are hamstrung by threats and intimidation and they just will not challenge the blockade, mostly I guess to protect the status quo.

My point was about the SK Fans. SM can do NOTHING to them. The fans of JYJ inside SK have all the real power to change things. Yet they do nothing to petition or challenge SM or call them out on this deplorable behavior. So my question to Yea yesterday was “why is it so easy to gather support to create petitions and ask for changes from JYJ’s company C-jeS but not SME, the company that has caused all of these problems in the first place?”
