It is true. Reminds me of that half-French, half-Korean guy and his comment about Dokdo Island/Takeshima. These are some very delicate issues and many other idol groups have been under the fire for saying the “wrong” thing. China, Japan and Korea still have many unresolved issues between them so the “Hallyu Wave” always (in my opinion) comes off as a double sword. On one hand there does seem to be some integration and acceptance especially amongst the younger generations but on the other this hatred? misunderstanding? (what is the word?) stems from some very understandably hard issues that can’t just be pushed to the side and be forgotten.
Also I remember one of the ladies here. Lilibaiyu? mentioning that this Hallyu wave thing doesn’t work both ways. There is no mutual cross over of music (pop music anyways). Japanese artists don’t flood Korean shores and I don’t think Chinese artists do either though Koreans are more willing to accept Chinese people and culture. Some idol groups accept and train Chinese artists but I have yet to see a Japanese person apply or get accepted into a Korean group. I know that the three boys are sensible enough to keep their mouths shut around these kinds of things. They don’t need anymore drama. JJ was very diplomatic about his fellow co-actor.
I’m glad you are willing to be honest about these things. Nothing is happening but that doesn’t mean we should ignore any troublesome realities that could rear their ugly heads.

He loves Japan, he especially loves his Japanese fans as has been a topic here many times recently, some here thinking that he perhaps gives them too much attention at the expense of the Korean fans. My opinion is that he and of course JYJ as a whole should be free to make these kinds of decisions without outside forces lobbying him from their own points of view and from their own self-interest.

I think part of it is how much protection and influence you have around you because SuJu for example, have been promoting themselves in China and Japan and no one seems to have asked them anything that could create a scandal. I’m sure SME does their research and if they can, they’ll pick the biggest butt-licker they can find to ask “easy” questions when they go for interviews.

Some people on Youtube were under the impression that it was Heechul singing or having a duet with Jaejoong. HA! Not even in his wildest dreams!!!!!
