[FAN PROJECT] JYJ3 to Korea: “Thanks to You…”

September 12, 2012 · JYJ3 Team

 photo JYJBANNER01.jpg

Dear JYJ3 Readers,

We are happy and excited to inform you of JYJ3′s first fan project aimed to reach JYJ. We hope to show JYJ how they have influenced the lives of their fans and want to send a strong message that their International Fans are always supporting and thinking of them.

One of the admins of JYJ3, (Junmoshi) will be going to Korea in October and has agreed to carry out this project for JYJ3 and personally deliver it via the appropriate channels to ensure it is received by JYJ.

Project Details:

Part 1: We plan to make 3 large coin banks in the shape of the letters J-Y-J separately, but it will also be possible to stick them together as well.
Submission Deadline for Asia, North America and Oceania: September 30th (Our Admin should receive it by this date.

Submission Deadline for Europe and South America: 7th October

We ask you to participate in the project by writing on a piece of paper why each member is special to you. Personal and inspirational messages under this topic are encouraged since the 3 coin banks will be packed in a box that will say:

“Whenever you are having a hard time, take a note filled with our sincerity and remember that we’re always here for you”.

So we can cheer them up whenever they are feeling down and make them remember they are loved and special to many people. Don’t forget to add your name and country somewhere on the note to make it more personal and to write each note directly addressing a member by name. Messages should be handwritten.

***The note can be written on paper of any size, texture, or shape so long as it is 3 x 5 inches or smaller.
*** Language: English, Japanese and Korean.
***There will be three separate coin boxes (one for each member) so we would like to remind fans to write a total of 3 different messages, one for Jaejoong, one for Yoochun, and one for Junsu
. This is a
JYJ Fan Project so we naturally want to present JYJ with a symbol of how much we care for them as a group as well as respect and admire their individual qualities equally.

Part 2: Scrapbook
Submission Deadline for Asia, North America and Oceania: September 30th (Our Admin should receive it by this date)

Submission Deadline for Europe and South America: 7th October

Along with the note you can also send a photo of yourself, or a photo that holds a special meaning for you about JYJ.

The scrapbook will be titled “Thanks to you…” so any photo around that topic is welcome (For instance: Thanks to you I’m learning Korean…). Remember the photos you send us will only be seen by our Admin, JYJ, or people working with them, so you don’t have to worry about your photo being seen by the general public.

In order to make our Admin’s work easier, please, explain on a separate piece of paper the photo’s meaning and provide some information (for instance, if it’s a photo about a JYJ meeting, explain where it took place, who was there, when and what did you do, what was the best and most memorable moment). Moreover, you can also send in the letter any kind of decoration like stickers, scrapbook items or drawings that we can include in the scrapbook for JYJ. The scrapbook will be compiled by hand by our JYJ3 admin, Junmoshi (@Minhato).

***The picture submission can also be any size or shape that is 3 x 5 inches or smaller. If it is slightly bigger than this don’t worry but anything more than 1 inch on all sides should be cut slightly.

Submissions for Part 1 and Part 2 may be sent to this address :

JYJ3 to Korea
(2916) 1160 J. BOCOBO ST
ERMITA MANILA PHILIPPINES
*** Note: Submission Deadline for Asia, North America and Oceania: September 30th (Our Admin should receive it by this date.
Submission Deadline for Europe and South America: 7th October

For US Residents & Other Countries you can send  the submissions to this address:

JYJ3 Project Korea
5032 Capital Circle SW
Ste 2 PMB# 279
Tallahassee, FL 32305-7886
*** Note: This is an intermediate address in the US, one large envelope will be send to Manila-Philippines. Submission Deadline: September 21th.

Part 3: Donation Project: UNAIDS – The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS
Donation Deadline: To Be Announced

For the last part of our project we want to continue in the theme of supporting and thinking of others by organizing a donation project.

JYJ was named Regional Goodwill Ambassadors for UNAIDS in the Asia-Pacific Region in 2011, and the mission statement of UNAIDS is to “lead and inspire the world in achieving universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support”. It is a very worthy cause, and their mission statement centers on the use of Unity, Advocacy, Mobilization, Empowerment, and Support to fulfill their mission. Ideas that we believe will resonate with both JYJ and their fans.

The point of this project is to help a good cause, but it is also an opportunity to show the world the strength, diversity, and unity of JYJ’s international fans. If we use $1 USD as representative of 1 fan then just imagine how much good we can do together in the name of JYJ’s international fans! So please consider donating at least $1 USD.

We will be using Paypal to accept donations (in USD) and those will be updated frequently in this document. Please include your name (how you would like to appear on our project + document list) and what country you’re from in the message box when sending us your donation. We will record this and create map showing all the countries fans participated from and include a list of fans’ names as well.

***Please send donations via Paypal to: project@jyj3admin.net

Check the List of Donors HERE

JYJ have always honestly shown us a lot about themselves and who they are. They continually do their best by working hard to show us something new. Let’s give back a little piece of ourselves to show our appreciation and to thank them for positively influencing our lives^^.

If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us to: jyj3project@yahoo.com

Thank you for your attention,
JYJ3 Team

I really loved all 3 of the projects and want to join them all but i have one problem. And that is that even if I send a post today. It will never be in the countries named above on time. Can’t we (european/turkish) fans send it via email? Or is it to much work for the admins to write down everyone’s msgs? Sorry for my question if thr post already answers it but I couldnt fined it. Thank u for this amazing projects dear JYJ3 admins^^

Nuncak, if you send it directly to Philippines, I think it will arrive on time.
Anyways, I will accept letters which arrive a bit late on exceptional cases, like the ones of people living in Europe so everyone can be part of the project. Just try to send it as soon as possible, everyone, so I have enough time to make the scrapbook with the quality JYJ deserves.

      @nuncak,

another idea is if you make your cards and stuff and make a pdf or jpg version of it, that can be printed on a standard US-letter or A4 paper (noting which one of course) and then email the pdf or jpg file. Then you can have your handwritten messages and still get it to the dear adminnies on time. And all they’ll need to do it print it and cut out the two pieces.

        September 13, 2012 Reply

The idea of the project is to make it as personal as possible so please, let’s avoid scans. Send your HANDWRITTEN notes as soon as possible. Even if they arrive a bit late they will be accepted anyways.

I even get teary by finally joint donation with UNAIDS, JYJ are ambassador but didn’t have much action and fansite joining. There is a lot of work needed for AIDS and related disease, social problems.

I love the idea too but the time is a little short for the letters to arrive :( Dear admin, may SAmerican fans deliver their letters to the US address? It would be a little faster and a little cheaper if we can do so. I’ll be waiting anxiously for your answer. Thanks :)

It depends which languages you are translating between. If the language structures are too different (like English and Korean), it is probably not a good idea to use google translate. I would save google translate for languages with similar backgrounds and structures like English and German–but even then, it’s probably not 100% accurate.

oh.. thanks! ^^.. i was just planning to write something in either Japanese or Korean since it’d be easy for them to read.

If it’s just a little bit bulky, it’s ok. Too much is not ok since we need space for every fan who wants to take part in the project.

I live in Thailabd and aim to join JYJ3project. In order to send via FedEx, I would like to ask for “JYJ3 to Korea” name and address. Sending mail from Thailand takes forever and I think I can’t make it in time via the Post. FedEx only takes 1 day but it does not accept sending to post-box, it only accepts sending to someone who can sign the receiving paper.

I have e-mail to jyj3project@yahoo.com and if you could send me your name, address and telephone number (or e-mail), I will send my cards to join the project as fast as I can. FedEx said I can send on 28th and it will reach you at Philippine by 29th evening.

**I will not post or get name and address leak anywhere. I really want to join the project T.T

Thank you very much in advance.

It is okey. I will send it by Thai post. It takes 3-5 days from today…may be a week but I will give it a shot. If I couldn’t join your project in time, please please send it back to me ;__; I will response all the expense i.e. Paypal.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

Hello there Nermin =D , I’m happy to see another Egyptian in here <3 ..
I think our deadline was 21 & the instructions were to send it to the US intermediate adress and from there it will go to philippines .. But I suppose you can send yours directly to philippines by the { Rapid international mail } and hopefully it will be there before the 7th of october ?! – you should ask when you send them too – ..
Wait for another confirmation for this advice from fellow JYJers =))) ..
