i honestly don’t think its the fans that made him unfollow his friends. this is simply because those who have bashed yihan and the rest for being close to jaejoong will continue doing so whether jaejoong is following them or not. everyone knows that those two are very close friends, and they have mentioned each other many times in interviews so this is not gonna change fans’ reaction to the relationship.
plus, fans already started bashing Yihan even before him and jaejoong had the flirty conversation on twitter and it didn’t stop Yihan or Jaejoong from talking to each other in public or praising one another in interview.

Well, I think one of the reasons is because those delusional people keep sending him and his friends crazy tweets every time they have some Twitter conversations. He doesn’t want his friends to be attacked so often just for being close to him. Moreover, the fans who want to dictate his life by complaining what he should or shouldn’t tweet make it worse. Just when Jaejoong decides to open up his personal life and let fans have glimpses of it, it’s fans who put him under pressure. It’s sad that he has to unfollow his friends and clean up his tweets every once in a while. Now there’s no more tweet exchanges with anyone, except with Junsu maybe. Yeah, push him harder until he leaves it altogether, geez. >__>
He has the option of just skipping his mentions. He has more than 979K followers, it’s unavoidable that he’ll receive a truckload of comments. But seeing his own fans attack his friends is surely uncomfortable. Now he chooses to only communicate with them in private to save everyone the troubles. You are right. It is a matter of opinion because unfollowing people on twitter could never be “drastic” to me. I don’t know what JJ thinks of when he does this. Maybe he is just “cleaning up” his twitter or maybe people are getting on his last nerve. I just hope he isn’t feeling badly.

ehhhh….. He does this from time to time. Maybe in his mind he has a magic number of people he follows and once he reaches that magic number he starts over again. I wouldn’t put too much thought into it. I think jaejoong would at the very least let his fans know before he closes down his twitter for good. It would be a sad the day when he finally decides to do it. Its not easy to get updates on him or his members. This really is one of the few venues they have.
I guess he just want to use his twitter account as an outlet to communicate with his fan. Simple as that. He doesn’t need to publicly display his conversation with his friends to his fans since not all his fans are mature and are able to understand that he has his right to be friend with whomever he wishes.

I think Yoochun just doesn’t really care for social networking sites. I think that is why people were upset but not worried when he left. ehhhh….. He does this from time to time. Maybe in his mind he has a magic number of people he follows and once he reaches that magic number he starts over again. I wouldn’t put too much thought into it. I think jaejoong would at the very least let his fans know before he closes down his twitter for good. It would be a sad the day when he finally decides to do it. Its not easy to get updates on him or his members. This really is one of the few venues they have.
I guess he just want to use his twitter account as an outlet to communicate with his fan. Simple as that. He doesn’t need to publicly display his conversation with his friends to his fans since not all his fans are mature and are able to understand that he has his right to be friend with whomever he wishes.
I don’t know if Jae is just doing a little house cleaning or being a protective Dongsaeng to Yihan; but I don’t think it will take much more for Jae to shut down his Twitter all together; then Junsu will probably follow suit T_T! The end result: See you all on the tour circuit and the YT screen.

He is protecting his friends. He didn’t delete Psy, because Psy is older than him…maybe..I hope he won’t shut down his Twitter like Yoochun..
I think that is part of the reason and also PSY is very well respected artist so these fools will think twice before attacking him. He is a senior artist not a teenager so he can hold his own like a boss~
I think Yoochun just doesn’t really care for social networking sites. I think that is why people were upset but not worried when he left. Jaejoong, on the other hand, has held on for so long so I think if he leaves it will be because people push him too far. But at the same time I’m not too worried because twitter is not his life. He chooses to share something with us through twitter. He doesn’t owe it to us. If there are idiots who don’t understand that then I hope his followers protect him as much as possible from such people.

Annyeong everyone! This will be my first post here though I’ve been frequenting the site for nearly a year now if I remember it right. This is really maddening. Some people just wont stop at anything. I checked Jae’s twitter mention just to understand whats the fuzz all about and voila, everything is there in black and white. Any person in his right state of mind would definitely get affected by the postings made by some lunatic person there. The comments I’ve read are not referring to ALL YJ fans, but to those who attack Jaejoong & his friends, & to those who sexually harass him with YJ spam & photoshop & all their BS. Maybe they are a vocal minority, but when these YJ shippers harass Jaejoong & his friends, & tweet him bashing him for being friends with anyone other than Yunho, & actually have the nerve to tweet such bull to him, demanding why he doesn’t understand he’s with Yunho (?????) & how dare he so much as breathe without his “Yunnie bear”, why do you think us non-YJ fans get so angry & protective of Jaejoong? No matter how strong you are, or how long you’ve been famous for, being attacked, bullied & bashed by people who claim to be your fans, because you aren’t living out the life they think you should be, must be so painful & disheartening, esp for someone like Jaejoong who really does love his fans – well, most of them. Jaejoong knows what’s best for himself..he has been taking care of himself in the world of k-entertainment from unfairness, back-stabbing, betrayal, super-crazy stalkers, super-idiot shippers, etc. without complaining or self-pitying to his fans
Jaejoong will do anything to protect what’s dear to him..his family, his friends, his business partners and fans like us who respect, trust and love him and we also want to protect him from all those human that want to bring him down. Maybe un-follow his friends is the best way to protect them from his followers that we not sure either real fans or antis or fox-in-disguise ~ waiting and looking for opportunity to destroy him and his friends that are supporting him 110%..
Jaejoong will not abandon his fans on twitter just because those delusional shippers bombarding his twitter with explicit threats, calling him names..he has been getting it for almost 10 years and it’s probably like another farts he’s having..smell for awhile and forgotten in mere seconds. Twitter is not the only medium to be in touch with his friends and family..I think he prefers to call and talk directly rather than exchanging words on twitter.
Give him some space and time and God’s will, he will be back sharing his selca or other pictures with us in no time. We all worry because we love him so much and just seeing he tweet ‘hi’ makes my heart singing with joy..because to me its a sign that he always think of us too..he is like a bright early morning sun to me..makes my heart smile and flutter at the a mere short message appear on my twitline..it does brighten up my day..
If I were him I’d just make a completely separate locked account with which I would use to contact my friends.
