On the 25th, his management company C-JeS expressed, “Park Yoochun is confirmed for the role of Han Jungwoo in drama ‘I Miss You’, which will be aired in the beginning of November. He will officially be involved in filming preparation.”
In the drama, Han Jungwoo is a homicide detective who possesses a pleasant personality and is thick-skinned, he preciously hides his longing for a girl, and is a devil-like role where he hunts down criminals in a beastly manner. It is expected that he will once again capture females’ hearts.

After weeks of discussion, Park Yoo Chun has officially signed on to shoot his follow-up drama.
C-Jes Entertainment confirmed on September 25 Park Yoo Chun’s addition to the cast of the new MBC drama, I Miss You.
The confirmation comes after weeks of speculation and Park Yoo Chun will be playing the drama’s male lead character, Han Jung Woo.
The drama revolves around a guy and a girl, who both experiences a painful end to their first loves at the tender age of 15. Park Yoo Chun’s character is described as a brazen and talented investigator.
The agency added, “The talented Park Yoo Chun, who has previously displayed his well acting and star quality, will show another great transformation to viewers.”
I Miss You is expected to premiere in November on MBC.

Doesn’t seem like they match well, though I could be wrong…..perhaps in a drama could be a different matter….

HJM quite popular in SK actually, she acts in many dramas and do variety show as well before this..i know her since in Padam2 and fall in love with her acting, she’s really beautiful in that drama..she got many awards too but I think her popularity exploded because of RTP…

I think a fresher actress with some spunk on screen will be better. These two you’ve mentioned are great beauty, but they don’t match with Yoochun at all. No chemistry what’s so ever. Nam guru won’t be so bad or someone who isn’t over popular nor isn’t as tall as Chun. A cute but spunky actress will be better suited to Chun than a great beauty or a tall sexy actress. Plus Kim Tae Hee has been overused in dramas there will be nothing new.

Will be interesting to see Yoochun play a homicide detective … he has such a soft look though … anticipating how he will transform himself into a hard nosed cop! I guess this means the three boys are still going to focus on solo activities the rest of the year. I am still hoping that they will get together and do something as JYJ. It’s great to see them flourish in their individual work, but I must say, I miss seeing them perform as a group. Neither JJ nor YC have flexed their vocal muscles in a while.

Though I really love them singing together, and at first I was also a little disappointed for not having JaeChun as singers this year, but when it’s Cjes itself said that Junsu’s American tour was a deficit and reading some opinions that releasing an album, making MVs but banned and blocked from normal promotion is not a promising project, financially speaking. I came to understand why JYJ moved their comeback next year and Jaejoong not releasing a solo album. And they have to take advantage of their rocket-rising popularity as actors especially Yoochun. Not everyday an opportunity knocks on the door, and as what Jaejoong said, singing to him is not a work but already part of his life, so he can sing whenever he wants, but to be given a big chance in the acting field is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed, and I believe they strive to become better actors for their music, the more fans they have, the more people they can share their music with. And it can’t be denied that due to their dramas, JYJ fandom has expanded exponentially. So let’s just a little be patient, hopefully few months from now, our waiting is over

Not really a huge fan of melodramas, but this is Yoochun, so I gotta make sure to watch no matter what. Plus the character sounds pretty bad-ass. I think Chunnie can pull it off!

I heard thru’ Dramabeans that Yoon Eun Hye’s gonna be the leading lady as she was the first to receive the script in April….
supposedly in June, she even mentioned about taking time off from school in the second half of the year. Since this is before Son Ye Jin’s and Yoochun’s offers, we’ll just have to see if the rumors are true….
I hope to see a good 20s actress like Shin Se Kyung or Mun Keun Young.
