I am very surprised that Jaejoong was nominated for Male Excellence Award in Korea Drama Awards 2012. Why I am surprised is because of the great actors that were nominated together with Jaejoong.
The nominees are as followings;
Kwak Do-Won of ‘Phantom’
Lee Hee-Joon of ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly’
Youn Je-Moon of ‘Deep Rooted Tree’
Lee Seong-Min of ‘Golden Time’
and, our Kim Jaejoong of ‘Dr. Jin’
I believe those who are big fans of Korean dramas know how great these actors are.
They are veteran actors who have been acting for 10~20 years
and known to be superb actors in the acting industry in Korea.
Our Jaejoong, who officially debuted as an actor only an year ago and has acted only in two dramas,
was nominated together with those great veteran actors.
Although Jaejoong did not receive the award, it is an honor just to be nominated,
First because of the great veteran actors that were nominated together with Jaejoong,
second this awards isn’t something that a power of fandom can make, but decided by the expert judges
and lastly this awards is not a certain TV station’s that only picks among its own dramas,
but targets all dramas of SBS, KBS, MBC and cable stations in Korea in 2012.
Simply, our Jaejoong is one of the five excellent male actors chosen by the expert judges.
So proud to know that our Jaejoong gets credit for his briliant performance as Kyungtak in Dr. Jin last summer!

There are two important matters in the nomination:
1. Jaejoong was nominated along with 10-20 years experienced actors
2. It was not depending on the size of fandom aka by voting
It reminds me of Junsu who got nominated for Best Musical actor along with his sunbaes with years of experience in the musical field.

I’m so very proud of him. Look at the list of nominees, Jaejoong’s totally a baby compared to the rest of the actors. He’s young and still a rookie with only 2 dramas under his belt and no lead role just yet. He didn’t get the award but that doesn’t even matter. Being nominated is already a honor. Best thing is no one can say Jae made it to the list because he’s got a legion of fangirls to vote for him or whatever because nominees were chosen and judged by experts. Kyung Tak helps push Jaejoong’s acting career one step further, and I believe one day he’ll be able to collect some of the prestigious awards for his acting skills.
Jaejoong, when he do something he’ll do it with all his got. it didn’t have to be spectaculer one but surely will become unforgetable. and he is a part of ‘the idol group who lived’ JYJ.

Kyungtakkie really push Jae to the next level..you can see at the beginning,his acting not so natural..after a few episodes,we can see the character develops and when he let go the idol-image for the literally bloody scenes,aahh..thats the proudest moment ever for JYJ fans..’uri Jae is an actor now..’ and his crying scenes,really touched by it..he’s so into it and the results : Jae got recognized and approved by the experts in this nomination. Keep up the great works JaeChunSu! We r so proud of u guys!
