After almost a year and a half away, Yoon Eun Hye will make her comeback to the small screen with new MBC series “I Miss You,” where she will star opposite of Park Yoo Chun (JYJ).
In the upcoming drama, she will take on the role of Lee Soo Yeon, the first love of Park Yoo Chun’s charter Han Jung Woo. They fell in love at the tender age of fifteen but had their love snatched away from them. They continue to live their lives, keeping their broken hearts hidden from the world. ”I Miss You” is described as a traditional melodrama about the two as they undergo a hide-and-seek-like-love.
A representative of the production team stated, “Yoon Eun Hye is an actress who’s been recognized for her craft through various works. While she appears bright and driven on the outside, Lee Soo Hyun carries a deep pain within. We felt Yoon Eun Hye would be the best actress to portray her.” He continued, “We hope many people are excited to see Yoon Eun Hye’s transformation into a woman in ‘I Miss You.’”
“I Miss You” will replace “Arang and the Magistrate” on MBC early next month.

Actress Yoon Eunhye has been confirmed to have joined the cast of the upcoming MBC drama “I Miss You.”
“I Miss You,” which is written by Moon Heejung and directed by Lee Jaedong, will mark Yoon Eunhye’s first drama role after a year and 5 months. The production company responsible for the drama has confirmed that Yoon Eunhye has been cast as the female lead, giving the reason that her and Park Yoochun making a fitting picture.
The drama “I Miss You” is one of the most anticipated dramas of the 2nd half of the year as JYJ’s Park Yoochun, child actor Yeo Jingoo and Kim Soohyun have all been confirmed for the drama previously. With Yoon Eunhye now added to the roster, fans are looking forward to the first episode of the drama.
Park Yoochun and Yoon Eunhye will begin shooting for the drama on October 20th. It has been reported that Yeo Jingoo and Kim Soohyun have already begun filming. Broadcasting for the drama is scheduled for early November.
“I Miss You” is a melodrama and will tell the story of a couple remembering sad memories of their first love.

Yoon Eun Hye, who has debuted with 2006 MBC drama “Goong” as an actress, became established as an actress with such projects as drama “Vineyard Man”, “1st Shop of Coffee Prince”, and etc.
She also appeared in SBS “Lie To Me” last year.

Yoon Eun Hye was recenlty cast in MBC TV’s new drama series Missing You.
On October 9, a production company of the series announced that Yoon was recently cast in the role of Lee Soo Yeon, Han Jung Woo’s first love. The shooting starts at the end of this month. JYJ’s Yoo Chun was cast in the role of Han Jung Woo.
It’s the first time for Yoon to appear in a drama series since she appeared in the series Lie To Me last year. It’s also her first melodrama series.
Yoon recently attracted a lot of attention by appearing at the Busan International Film Festival as a director of the short film Knitting, her senior project.
Missing You is a love story between a man and a woman who live with heartbreaking memories. Yeo Jin Goo and Kim So Hyun play the childhood of the two characters. The series also stars Do Ji Won, Jeon Gwang Ryul, and Jang Mi In Ae.
The series will start airing early next month.

I love all her dramas except “Lie to Me”(Didn’t like the way the male lead spoke even though I’ve loved him in previous dramas, *shrugs*) and “My Fair lady” (Male lead was too old for her. I couldn’t fit the two together in my head). Personal Preference wasn’t about her so it doesn’t count (was boring to me). Hoping for a successful “I MISS YOU” in the year 2012.
She has a lot of experience, and as I see her, she has a sweet beauty suited for YC, hoping their they’ll have a great acting chemistry.

Lie To Me was atrocious (in terms of the writing). They had sizzling chemistry and she basically carried the drama in the end, with not bad ratings. My Fair Lady (wasn’t completely sold on the pairing either, like you but watched it til the end anyway haha) ended on 19%.
That’s how I felt about both dramas.

No way!! I’ve been waiting for this match up since I first saw Yoochun throw down some serious acting chops in SKKS. YEH is one of my favorite drama actresses and my all time favorite X-man regular. She just made her directorial debut and now she’s going to do this?! Holy crap, how am I going to wait until November for this epic-ness??!! I’m so thrilled! Now I know why they held off announcing the lead. She always gets a lot of crap from nietzens thinking she is not good for a role. It happened with Goong and Coffee Prince and Take Care of the Lady. She was getting so much hate she seriously considered pulling out of Coffee Prince, and that is (in my humble opinion) one of the best kdramas I’ve ever watched and I cannot imagine what that show would have been like without her. This is awesome! And we won’t have to worry about those close lipped anti-sexual kisses kdramas are so fond of throwing in, YEH goes all out in her scenes. I can’t wait, this totally made my day, my week, possibly my month. Perfect, perfect, perfect!!!!!
She always has detractors in the beginning of her dramas, but they almost always turn out to be a hit (or at least, pull in respectable ratings). While she hasn’t done any melos (can’t remember if she ever did), she has this ability to just suck you in and when she cries, I cry along with her. I was so nervous thinking she’s not gonna sign on but omg I’m like you, this made my day, my week, my everything!
Even with Nice Guy pulling in ratings and competing against Miss You’s first few episodes, I’m sure people will still watch with her being an A-list actress and Yoochun having proven acting chops. The sheer star power will make advertisers happy I’m sure (and will sell the drama overseas too!).
No, she doesn’t have any straight forward melos in her repertoire, but to me she’s so suited to it cause her strength is making a character believable and making you root for her character. I know what you mean about her crying, I can’t get through any of her crying scenes without crying with her. I’m not sure about the initial ratings b/c it seems like it will be just the kids for the first few? episodes so they might struggle a bit, but when YC and YEH enter the scene, I expect an all kill!!
don’t underestimate the kids^^ they are popular, they are the ones that were in moon embracing the sun, the mega hit drama, before the adult actors came in, the kids already bringing in over 20% ratings.^^

Please don’t misunderstand, I don’t think the kids are bad, I think they are very talented however I do see that it will be tough for them to compete with the ending of ‘Innocent Man.’ Typically the end of a series will have the highest ratings and everyone wants to see how it will end, it will be hard to draw people away from that, that’s the only point I was trying to make.
And don’t get me started on Yoochun crying, gosh just tear out my heart why don’t you, even him just tearing up a little makes my heart ache TT

I think she is a better choice than Son Ye Jin who is much older than YC.

“Just wanted to clarify something cause I noticed that many people are misunderstanding as I read their comments on other sites. Cause I saw comments saying that many actresses were offered to be in this drama but they supposedly rejected. So I just wanted to clarify a few things.
1. I Miss You script was sent to Yoon Eun Hye for female lead. She has agreed to do this drama for a long time already and that’s the reason why she took the semester off school. (some of us Yoon Eun Hye fans have known about it since August, but we never openly talked about it even on YEH thread, only through private message, because we took in consideration that many things could happen/change before signing))
2. The report that Son Ye Jin received the script first is false…since Son Ye Jin herself clarified that the production has brought up about the drama to her awhile back, HOWEVER, they have NEVER sent her the script.
3. The reason why other actresses name showed up on DCMBC rumor was because some trolls started it to promote their favorite actresses. So rumor that other actresses rejected I Miss You is false.
