[NEWS] 121009 JYJ’s Kim Junsu Treated Unfairly at the 32nd National Para Games Opening?

October 8, 2012 · anmcha3

On October 8, singers gathered together at the Goyang Sports Complex to celebrate the opening of the 32nd National Para Games.

However, things started to turn ugly as ZE:A was announced as the final performance of the night, when there was still one more person waiting to walk on the stage.

According to fans who were present, Kim Junsu was promoted as a guest singer for the event, but the broadcast station present started packing its cameras following ZE:A’s performance and before Kim Junsu′s. Kim Junsu went on and performed even after the cameras stopped rolling.

Fans also pointed out that the main event posters were also switched out a one point, with Kim Junsu no longer seen in the picture.

Some fans, who actually found the program schedule, also commented that Kim Junsu′s performance was scheduled for after the broadcast, although this has not been verified by the event producers.

On the night of October 8, JYJ’s Kim Junsu tweeted, “Although I wasn’t able to make it on the broadcast, because it was a place where I could meet with all of you, it was a very enjoyable and meaningful experience. I hope that everyone will remember that happy feeling and get home safely. ^^ I love you.”

He later added, “I don’t know since when, but I’ve become so earnest in meeting with you all. The broadcast doesn’t matter to me. I love all of you who were there with me today.”

Bruce ‘Automatic’ Vanderveer, who recently produced Kim Junsu’s album, also tweeted, “Around the world today your fans banned [sic] together and showed love for you. Because you showed them how much you love them.”

He continued, “Being censored in your own country is awful, yet you went on and performed. You’re an incredible artist! And I admire you!”

Fans have been suppressing their anger after Kim Junsu’s message and have been sending him encouragements instead.

I still can’t believe , this SBS is the same TV station selling good Korea images through tv drama :

      1. City Hunter
      2. Secret Garden

On one hand, these two tv drama PROMOTED the importance of justice , integrity, empathy, love, fairness among Korean…..ALMOST all the good virtues of mankind in the country.

On the other hand, actually in the reality , SBS bullies the weaker artist JUST like the evil roles in their tv drama!

SBS, pls refund us the money and the honor, and pls give me a vomit bag for FREE.

        It is hypocrisy.

Fans of other Kpop artistes should also realise that this may happen to their favourite artistes. By continuously supporting kpop, we will be sending the wrong signals to these tyrants.

Without the fans, what will become of these tyrants??

SBS broadcast ” Faith ” – time travel tv drama with Lee MH.
** also selling the good deeds images.

Since banned by MBC for copying Dr. Jin, SBS changes a bit for the script.
        That is so disgusting.

This is a distorted twisted society .

Perhaps ugly truth inspires Automatic next music production.
As powerful as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s : I have a Dream

Please glacial.music. This is really out of context. What JYJ are suffering is an injustice but to compare it with the segregation of an entire race of people since the times of slavery and racial extermination? Please…please stop. I may sound like a Debbie Downer with a corn cob stuck up her ass but this is not OK to me. Many people fight injustices the world over without making callous references to things that are just very very different. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech has a very long history behind it. Selma, Montgomery, the freedom rides, sit ins where young men and women were beaten to unconsciousness and hosed down with water, the Ku Klux Klan, “Segregation Today. Segregation Tomorrow. Segregation Forever”. This isn’t even touching the early 1900s and the centuries before that culminated into this speech and the struggles of this particular generation that many argue continue to this day.

Just so that you don’t think I’m some anti-JYJ in disguise I remember duking it out with this clueless chick in The JYJ Files who compared what she thought of as “mislead JYJ fans” to the horrible silence of the German population over Hitler in Nazi Germany. Yes…..she was actually comparing the break up of a boyband with Nazi Germany. She thought we were like the complacent German population and you can only guess who JYJ were supposed to be in her “clever” reference. I know you have fire in your veins but that shouldn’t make for helpful actions. I may come off as weak or undecisive but I just don’t see what unrelated events have to do with helping JYJ.

This is a black day indeed for S. Korean broadcast media. SBS clumsily and obviously went back on its advertised commitment to its viewers in order to toady to SM Entertainment and their evil and illegal agenda. This is a pathetic indictment of the S. Korean broadcast industry. If this is the best they can do, they need to be totally dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up.

Yes, we are so Logically / sentimentally angry, now increasing Tarantallegra and Uncommitted non-stop!

Yet Chinese fans so angry and shocked too. But they are restricted to Youtube. They are increasing Junsu’s Uncommitted at Yin Yue Tai. Aiming hit 1,0000,000 view rate asap to slap SM & SBS. International fans may also increased to help -

( hint : every full view count 1 view, not mute the sound)

Fans, just remember–throughout history, small people, through determination, will, and sheer guts, have toppled empires. This CEO of SM needs to be stopped and then replaced. He is no good. Hello my friends @JYJ3. Very long time no see. I can’t stand being silent after reading Junsu’s tweets. I share his heart-wrenching comments and I can feel his pains, just like you do. My prayer is always be with you, and your loyal fans.
My tears drop slowly as I read his tweets. My heart feels the most painful feeling of JYJ at this moment-being blocked in their own beloved country.
This is the BIGGEST IRONY OF THE CENTURY, yet THE BIGGEST SCANDAL in K-POP Industry.
JYJ, comprised of three super talented men- JAEJOONG, YOOCHUN, JUNSU, are the protagonists in the hypocrite republic of South Korea.
They have endured the most painful fact for artists, being blocked of performing in TV and radio stations, for 3 consecutive years. Despite court’s favor toward JYJ, reality talks differently. Because of SoMeonE entertainment’s mafia bonds, power, money, black campaign, JYJ has to be the IRONIC IDOLS, being very popular abroad, but being blocked in domestic entertainment industry.
Concerning such backgrounds, there are two basic questions exist:
    1. How long will this JYJ banning last?
    2. What steps can fans do the help end the banning?

Now, trying to answer those questions:
    1. This ban is UNLIMITED. Considering South Korean’s tight familial relationship (even in working areas), SoMeonE entertainment is going to strengthen the bonds with its affiliation both domestic and overseas as well as strengthen the rules toward its artists. They all keep working as a GIANT TEAM to make sure the banning works properly (and forever as they wish). What makes situation worse is that the banning is massive and systematic. People (esp. in South Korea and countries where SoMeonE entertainment has affiliated) just can watch, comment, criticize, and so on. Nothing has changed so far for JYJ. Reading news in JYJ3, how JYJ’s performance is consistently being blocked, or having some troubles without logical reasoning (such as in Arabic countries where fan’s request of airing JYJ’s song is denied by KBS world radio and so on) can give us clue hoe powerful the forces against JYJ is.
The stakeholders and decision makers are powerless due to comprehensive act of banning. Even when JYJ is successful to build link between them and government (in order to help promote JYJ in nations’ ceremony), the President Lee Myung Bak and his ministers dealing with entertainment and tourism industries can do nothing to end the block. Even when the court (or justice) has guaranteed JYJ’s freedom, the reality is weaker than the original justice.
How could it be? Because the justice the court’s worked on is just artificial, just lip service in order to satisfy JYJ’s fans, not trying to commit the real justice. Seen from ordinary people (or non-fans), the court makes people think that the court has tried its best to erect the proper law system. SoMeonE entertainment’s too, wants to impress people that this company has clean image, as clean as its popular boybands and girlbands.
However, the truth shows that black campaign is systematically structured, ruled, and done. At one hand, South Korean government and entertainment industries want to keep JYJ as the image of Hallyu wave and promoters of South Korean’s pop industry (that finally lead to increasing income for people in this industry because potential money they can get from die-hard JYJ fans); but on the other hands, they do nothing to set JYJ free from such dirty nepotism, corruption, and ban.

The facts have shown us the ironic justice and the hypocrisy of South Korean government and entertainment industries. It should be stopped soon. Enough.

    2. As the law and industry systems are unable and have no willingness to end the ban, the one and only party who can do this is PEOPLE’s POWER. I believe that South Koreans who care for, love, and believe in JYJ are trying their best to make sure JYJ can appear again in broadcasting stations, both on TVs and radios, but there SHOULD BE MORE PEOPLE POWER, this time is INTERNATIONAL PEOPLE POWER. As JYJ has growing number of international fans, these fans should unite regardless language barrier and place of origin. Just like STAND UP 4 JYJ movement, it’s a great idea to start with. Fans can bring up this issue to academic forum (in seminars, public discussion, papers, and so on) in order to increase awareness of JYJ banning issue toward people worldwide. Go and ask academician (like professors on culture, law, and humanities) to enlighten this issue from different philosophy and point of view. Petition is also a great idea. The basic idea is that this step of ending JYJ’s ban must be done systematically and massively too, with coordinators to make sure that the fans and non-fans have one voice. As I’ve said in my previous comment (very old comment), there should be cooperation from insiders of SoMeonE entertainment too as a WHISTLE BLOWER who is willing and going to expose the black strategies of SoMeonE entertainment to monopoly South Korean’s entertainment industry. Fans who have connection with insiders can meet, arrange the strategies to gather evidence/ data/ files that can prove to support JYJ and then blow it up in international media. By the time it’s coming, and BOOM…..a SLAP to SoMeonE entertainment’s face.

I’m sorry for my long comments. I just want to write what is in my mind now. No matter how painful my heart now, I try to think rationally. Let’s unite my friends at JYJ3. Keep supporting our precious and beloved JYJ, because there are no other musicians and artists who deserve our support than them. Unite, we’ll fight till the end of the day. I believe in our biggest dream of seeing JYJ perform on TV and radio stations freely for they also posses the basic human rights as artists too.

    JAEJOONG, I LOVE YOU
    YOOCHUN, I LOVE YOU
    JUNSU, I LOVE YOU

After KBS with the Jeju island mess, this right here goes to the history of the most nasty things Korean broadcast stations have done to JYJ. It’s very insulting to Junsu as an artist, a public figure, and above all a human being. SBS blatantly used him then brushed him away. You would expect a public media outlet to at least have some basic respect or decency, but trust SM and its minions to show you how low they can get. At least the news department catches on with this unfair treatment and reports it. It’s unacceptable for this kind of bullying to be swept under the rug.

I cried like crazy for hours, I worried my mother :\……but I just told myself to calm down. *deep breaths*

I want to share my worries with you ladies. Please respond if you disagree because we need to be as honest as possible with one another. I don’t think that messing with the 2018 Olympics will help anyone. Please consider how this could seriously backlash against JYJ. Many sports fans and patriots (ESPECIALLY those who don’t know JYJ) will not understand or care to understand this action. You have to calm down and understand that our actions (whether this is fair or not) reflect on JYJ themselves. Please don’t do anything rash.

2nd. Boycotting SME is useless. We already boycott them so what effect is this supposed to have? In order for the boycott to be successful we need the people who always support (at least a significant percentage of them) SME to stop buying SME products, not attend events etc etc and that is not going to happen. They are loyal to their groups and they will not risk having their groups look bad or lose profits for the likes of us. Also doesn’t help that many here have made snarky comments and blanket statements about the lack of talent other idol groups have. Claiming that we only listen to JYJ (for Korean music), calling other groups “mainstream”, calling JYJ “Korea’s national treasure” also smacks of elitism and rubs other fandoms the wrong way. I myself have been guilty of this many times and I know many here have done the same.

Let us not kid ourselves. Other fandoms don’t seem to like us and they will be of no help unless their groups are going through the same thing and from what I can see that is only JYJ. I think the solution lies within JYJ themselves. They NEED to start producing more albums. I know that dramas are their key to staying in the public eye but they are musicians and they are supposed to be investing time in that first. They can compose their own songs or work with studio artists, idc, they just need to do this. If one member is busy with some other activity then the other two can release an album together. I want some solo albums as well.

I think the fans can use sites to spread the word but if the people around us find that they:
    1. don’t care
    2. are happy this is happening to Junsu/JYJ (many are, unfortunately)
    3. think there are more important things
    4. believe JYJ are rich and should therefore “stop complaining”…..then we need to consistently and calmly correct evey myth and stereotype they’ll throw at us. My plan is not original or great by any means but I think calmly approaching people outside of JYJ3 and explaining to them the injustice that is happening is our best shot. Many fans have done this for some time and believe me when you are cool in the head and back up your statement with facts many people *do* believe you.

I also agree that apologies are just moot at this point. SBS, KBS and MBC have shown that money will make the dog dance. Nothing else matters to them so expecting good treatment or getting one’s hopes up only to have them shoot down a JYJ appearance or disrespect like this should not surprise BUT please don’t misunderstand me. Not getting surprised doesn’t mean we won’t get even but the Winter Olympics is not the right chip to use for this.

I truly understand your standpoint. And Asian way of solving conflict, is NOT arise anymore confrontation.
However, JYJ are not political sensitive people( eg. those persecuted in China, Burma , Malay etc) they are just ordinary civilian. Those people can’t speak for themselves, finally helped by the democratic countries.

Yes, we need NOT brutal confrontation, but education give us conscience. As I enjoy JYJ’s performance as entertainers, i won’t treat myself a mere consumer.

We are not basing 2018 , 2014 sports host of Korea. Pls dun’t worry. We have to put a question for the committee.
Just like China, 2008 Beijing Olympics, many committee field trips, at least released so many democratic prisoners,
I hope you have the info for relief.

And I trust JYJ are NOT teens fandoms, and need NOT seek conformity from other teens fandoms.
At this moment, only international trade sanctions can help.

Real example is Apple sues Samsung. And how ? did Apple irritates their country ? other countries ?

I trust you are a good friend of JYJ. Let’s pray for the wisdom and act.

Today , big can not beat weak, only fast can beat slow.

As you see, SM swelling like big dark hole now, swallowing each smaller counterparts, we are , or our further generation , will be their slave prey dear!

Ah jeez! I was crying like a moo-cow last night and I finally went to bed real late at night.

Thank you for replying. You are completely right. Other fandoms will not help but I still think informing non-fans is helpful. I go to other sites and you wouldn’t believe (or maybe you know all too well) the smack they talk about JYJ and many of the commentators pile on lies after lies. Can you believe a cassie told me that JYJ were suffering because of karma? I was like…..that is BAF2′s line not yours!

What I want is for JYJ to concentrate on albums to catch new fans. I know that their musical/acting endeavors have hooked many new fans but these fans only support one member and fervently wish their bias breaks off from JYJ. Not all new fans of course but a disconcerting amount of them regardless. There are moments of tension in this site and then these people disappear and don’t comment here again. It is unnerving to me. JYJ are artists and therefore the new blood should come from fellow music fans not acting enthusiasts.

JYJ branched off partly due to the restriction they suffer and partly because they all want to try something new. I do understand but there are certain…misunderstandings or strange beliefs that some JYJ fans seem to have. Some (very few, luckily) believe that since JYJ don’t have SME backing them up that this means they can’t write music anymore or get a hold of quality material or that we have to wait very long periods of time in between albums. I don’t know where they get this idea from. Many unknowns or artists of modest means still manage to create good music and JYJ has done that so far so I don’t see why this can’t continue.

You speak of political prisoners which….I would not compare JYJ to. There are certain historical references that should be off limits and the Chinese prisoners who are beaten and tortured, (some of whom are never heard of again), for exposing government scandals and corruption involving murder, rape, illegal land acquisition is one of them…yeah…I feel very uncomfortable going there. I will support because I have nothing to lose and I want JYJ to be treated with respect. I will write to the Olympics committee about this.

Apple is a multi-national, American-based corporation that surpassed Exxon as the most valuable U.S. company in the world in early 2012. The problems between Samsung and Apple are not the same as the problems between SME and JYJ. Ipods, tablets and smartphones are not flesh and blood beings like JYJ. I just don’t think making these comparisons is good because JYJ’s situation is different and it must be approached as such lest we risk alienating support or causing unintentional harm.

She was convinced that Homin went through this “horrible” suffering after JYJ “stabbed them in the back” at the 6.25 meeting. She said that Homin were bashed unfairly and that cassies blindly rushed at JYJ’s side and caused untold suffering to both Homin and their families. She said that JYJ probably thought they were invincible and that Homin would forever need them and that is why people have been supporting TVXQ instead. JYJ showed their true colors and even people who don’t care about DBSK decided to support Homin because people finally found out the truth and that JYJ were overrated and bad people. She went on to praise KYHD, “Come back to me” etc etc and mocked “Ayyy Girl” and “Get out”. She gloated that “Come back to me” was played on an American show. She said that TVXQ had accidently found more success were JYJ have “tried hard and still failed.”

Legal action would have been a good idea if the courts had the balls to stand by their verdicts. I mean CJES/JYJ will do what they must but after seeing the level of incompetence I don’t see the point anymore. And again Eunjung’s case should not be comapared to JYJ’s and it isn’t “suspected” either. The members were all caught lying as well the company on their behalf about how they bullied Hwayoung on twitter. Eunjung and the rest of the group screwed over Hwayoung and Hwayoung ended up paying the price since she was thrown out of the group. Staff members from Music Bank also contradicted CEO Kim Kwang Soo who claimed that no bullying took place and that they were dismissing Hwayoung because she was being unreasonable and threw her crutches making a scene a few days after her injury at a comeback performance. They saw that she had been crying and was refused entry to the waiting room. Other artists saw this too.

They were cold to her. They wouldn’t interact with her more than necessary, they would “accidently” hit her in the face when they made their introductions and they themselves ended up admitting that they were “immature” and were sorry that they couldn’t handle their problems as a team in a better way. They apologized to her and their fans.

Eunjung was a jerk (don’t know if she learned a lesson) but I find it ironic that SBS thinks they can play the moral card on her. They are the worst scum ever. I don’t know if these dramas are just like the endorsement deals that dropped T-ara with no legal repercussions but I doubt it if she decided to sue so I think she has some legal basis for this lawsuit but again things just can’t be casually compared. Even Hangeng/KARA’s case was different.

UNBELIEVABLE! I am still so angry right now, but because Junsu wasn’t upset, I will try not to be as well. I will try to be the better person, the way Junsu was that day!

Thank you, Bruce, for your words of encouragement to Junsu!

After much thought and meditation, I believe that SME offered SBS a lot of money under the table so that Junsu would be humiliated at the Para Games. The fact that the poster was changed at the last minute completely erasing his picture as well as not announcing that he was the last act means that SOMETHING DEVIOUS was happening in private. SME is trying to crush those boys. But instead of crushing, they are mobiizing a worldwide movement to bring justice for JYJ. I cannot believe the justice and entertainment businesses in Korea are allowed to be operate this way, like some sort of Korean mafia! I don’t know how long the boys can take this. I’m beginning to fear for their mental and psychological health. My only hope is that they will look towards each other, their families and their many fans for strength and support.

Here are all the answers to that perennial question here on JYJ3 – “WHAT must SM have on the TV networks to make them behave like this??” The slightly appalling thing is that this article is 10 years old. So the climate of corruption and bribery, payola is what we call it in the U.S., is that much more deeply entrenched.

SM needs to be fully exposed for their widespread corruption. But with all their money and behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing,it will take a monumental concerted effort. If someone finally puts the brakes on this horrendous company, I’ll go outside and dance in the street.

Actually the more research I do the more I see…. SM HAS been exposed, thoroughly exposed — it’s all come out, it’s all been detailed, every which way, over and over, all over the place. But nothing happens to them. No one cares. People want what they want (SM’s current roster of acts) and people have heard about the lawsuit and now they’re done with it. Nothing happened, nothing changed so…. people can’t be bothered any more. It’s a pretty dismal state of affairs. The members of JYJ are just doing everything they can possibly do to remain in the public eye these days, they are still popular performers and personalities, and that’s good. But SM has shown itself to be maddeningly able to just re-label itself as The (Dear) Leader Of The Hallyu Wave and SM Nation and people see Yoona and Homin up on stage, raising the flag and it’s just easier for them to buy the bulllshit.
