First of all, thanks to each and everyone of you who sent letters for the JYJ3 Project “Thanks to you…” we started some weeks ago. (In case you missed the post, you can check it out here). Thank you for taking part in the project and for the cards, fanart, photos or poems you have sent. We really appreciate your encouraging messages to JYJ3 team too.
Since the project is coming soon to an end, we thought it would be good to keep you updated. In case you sent a letter, you can check the letters received so far at the end of this post. If you don’t see your name on the list, please don’t worry as there are still days left and if you didn’t send any letter but you want to take part in the project, just keep reading. ^^
All these days we have been checking many shops trying to find a scrapbook album and papers which fitted JYJ style and so far we have come up with this:
In the cover of the scrapbook album we will add a JYJ photo and a logo of JYJ3 on top of it. The papers chosen are positive and colourful as we are trying to encourage them and to send them positive vibes. We found some papers perfect for the project like the one with “be the one. Be strong” written on it or another paper where it’s possible to read “it’s the way you make me feel, it’s everyone you have touched, it’s what you stand for, what you believe in, you are one in a million…”. Other items bought include a set of quotations about faith (“when we are in the dark, faith is our lamp. When we are afraid, faith is our courage”) and another set of quotations about music (“music and rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul”). We also found a bookmark that we will attach at the bag handle. We consider it perfect for the project for its butterfly shape (symbolising freedom in their personal and professional lives) and for the quote written on it (“Don’t ever feel that you don’t make a difference. The impact you have on people’s lives is internal and not easily seen”).
Another way of taking part in the project. How to:
As you may already know, the project is divided in 3 parts:
- Part 1: Coin banks: For the first part of the project (the coin bank section) there is no change. The only way to take part in the project is sending your handwritten messages for each member to the address in Philippines mentioned in the previous post. We will still accept letters until 19th of October as the trip of our admin has been delayed a couple of days.
- Part 2: Scrapbook: For the second part of the project (the scrapbook) now you can send your photos to the e-mail address jyj3project@yahoo.com Deadline: next Tuesday (16th of October), 11pm Philippine time. Just remember to follow these steps:
1) Choose a photo that shows how much JYJ has inspired or changed your life. It can be for instance a meeting with another JYJ fans, new friends you made thanks to your interest in JYJ, you achieving something because of they gave you strength, studying Korean in order to understand their lyrics… Any photo is ok if it shows how inspirational and important they are for us and our lives.
2) Send the photo to jyj3project@yahoo.com explaining when the photo was taken and why you picked up that photo. To make our work easier we would appreciate if you could complete the sentence “Thanks to you…” (as this is the topic of the scrapbook and all the pages will contain this sentence).
- Part 3: Donation project: Remember that donations for AIDS (the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS) are open. You can send your donation via paypal to: project@jyj3admin.net

My advice: Send the photo via e-mail and if you wanna send a letter for part 1 (coin banks), you can give it a try. If it arrives before 19, it will be ok. And if it doesn’t, at least you have taken part in part 2. ^^

Really wanted to participate as it’s such a wonderful project and I’d probably be the only fan from Slovenia but I was participating in so many other ones..wish I had a picture i could send..but oh well hopefully next time..
