Actor Chun Jung Myung will be joining the cast of upcoming drama ‘I Miss You‘.
According to broadcast insiders, Chun Jung Myung has confirmed his appearance and is preparing to return to the small screen for the first time in a year. Chun Jung Myung will be playing the role of ‘Kang Hyung Joon’, a competitor of Han Jung Woo (JYJ‘s Yoochun) who is in a one-sided love with Lee Soo Yeon (Yoon Eun Hye).
As Kang Hyun Joong is a pivotal character in the drama and has much impact on the story, many are looking forward to seeing how Chun Jung Myung will portray the cold, yet pained character.
‘I Miss You’ will air after the conclusion of ‘Arang and the Magistrate‘, starting in November.

Guys, i read somewhere (most probably in DB’s comments) that this drama is more the-lead-female-centered, while the lead and second lead male shared almost the same propotion. Is there some official news bout this that i missed? or probably this is only rumor in DC board.
No nothing official has come out. However a lot of dramas have the female lead with the most screen time, the idea being that the female lead will be the most relate-able to the demographic. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the male lead and second male lead share similar screen times in this one b/c when you have an outstanding cast, it takes the burden off the leads to carry the story themselves. I think if that does happen, it will be good so Yoochun doesn’t have such an exhausting filming schedule. RTP’s was brutal on him and it’d be great for him to really have fun with this one.

I haven’t wished for it out loud cause I’m afraid to jinx it!, I really love love his OST for Ripley so I’m keeping my fingers crossed and sending silent prayers to the powers that be that he gets an OST for this one, and also for it to be his own composition cause he’s crazy good at composing.

i’ve seen CJM in Cinderella sister and Glory Jane… he was always the lead actor in those dramas… so for him and YEH to be with Chunnie — “i miss you” is truly a much awaited and anticipated drama…

I am puzzled as to why no script reading etc when there is only ONE more week left for Arang to complete its airing, I suppose with the child actors cast already long ago, they can have at least 1-4 eps in the can before I Miss You starts on 25th Oct… ( One can hope) but still… I want to see pics of script reading pretty pretty please!! I kind of k-drama viewer who so susceptible of getting the-second-lead-male-syndrome. It doesnt help that most k-drama i watched has a jackass lead male >_>
Now, that i love both actor, i am bound to mope when either of them suffer, that would probably cover the whole drama.
Seriously, I thought it’s just a rumors since CJM always be a male leads before, never dream that he will take this role…This is awesome..I read this on “I Miss You” fanpage that the child actors will appear in about 5 episodes but there is a prologue in the 1st episode in which adult actors will appear..arghhhh…this is killing me already…

There’s some news too that CJM rejected the offer and is considering a film role. This is so confusing. Much as I love CJM, in all honesty, I am not expecting him to accept the role and play second lead to YC not when he himself is main lead material. But if it is really true, somebody please call 911, I need to be resuscitated.

It so sad.. Chun Jung Myung’s casting revive our Chunnie’s haters on a certain playground(if you know what I mean). Aigoooo, it’s really hard to ignore them.
It’s upsetting me..Now i really don’t care if CJM refused this role because someone said he rejected this offer..I’m not his fan but because he is always be a male lead before, I can smell his fans totally can’t accept this news + YC is his junior in drama land..
but for me, it doesn’t matter he is junior or senior because I know YC’s acting skills was amazing than some seniors but I really hate fanwars so I wish he really refused this offer..haha
isn’t it surprising either that lee bum soo decided to step down in dr. jin? NO. because his character (in j-drama) is much more important and required more skillful acting than what the lead character offers. why can’t everyone learn that lead character isn’t everything? chun junmyung as crafted actor should realize this himself. i don’t think yoochun, acting-wise, is better than him that he deserved lead role more. no. one day i’ll also expect yoochun takes second lead role if the character is interesting.
