Are we in the era of JYJ?
JYJ members Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu are each excelling in films, dramas, and in musicals, drawing the attention of the fans and the industry giants alike.
First is the member Kim Jaejoong who has made his big screen debut with the movie ‘Jackal Is Coming’. He has demonstrated in television dramas that he is a more than capable actor and he’s ready to expand his potential into films. Kim Jaejoong plays an A-list star in the movie and he hasn’t shied away from making himself look ridiculous to make the character come alive. He’s been praised by the industry insiders for his passion and hard work.
Even though ‘Jackal Is Coming’ is Kim Jaejoong’s first film, he has shown acting abilities much beyond his experience and he portrays his character in the a perfect way, which is sure to hit a chord with the moviegoers. Kim Jaejoong has taken his first step in the film industry with the movie ‘Jackal Is Coming’ and many are curious as to how and if he will make a comeback with another hit at the box office.
At similar timing member Park Yoochun has started appearing on the MBC drama ‘I Miss You’, taking over the character Han Jung Woo from child actor Yeo Jin Goo. Park Yoochun will be playing the main character that lives his live in regret and sorrow for not being able to protect his first love. It’s expected that the actor will make many female fans cry from their hearts with his amazing acting.
Park Yoochun is an actor who gets praised a lot for his ability to express his emotions very delicately through his acting. His acting truly stood out in the drama ‘Rooftop Prince’ and his excellent acting skill is unquestioned. The viewers’ anticipation is high on how Park Yoochun will portray the deeply hurt Han Jung Woo, whose childhood experience still haunts him as an adult.
Lastly is the member Kim Junsu who’s won the ‘Best Male Actor’ award at the ’18th Korea Musical Daesangs’. Kim Junsu starred on several musicals including ‘Mozart’ and ‘Elizabeth’ and he’s an highly regarded actor in the musical industry.
Kim Junsu has also won the ‘Popularity Award’ for the third year in a row at the ’6th The Musical Award’ held in June of this year, revealing his incredible popularity as a musical actor. He’s finally enjoying the fruits of his hard work over the last three years as a musical performer and the fans are waiting in anticipation for his next musical.
It wouldn’t be so farfetched to say that it is an era of JYJ at the moment and 2012 has especially been special for members Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu. The fans are eagerly awaiting to see what JYJ has in store for them in 2013.

I just mentioned on another thread the other day that Jaejoong reminds me so much of Bae Yong Jun. He just seems to have “Music Mogul of Tomorrow” written all over him these days. His amazing charm and overall magnetic aura are so great at this point he surely could sell ice to eskimos but really that is the least of him. That will merely get him a meeting with anyone, anywhere for any reason. What else Jaejoong has is an artist’s eye that seems to be able to focus and effortlessly find excellence in a multitude of creative areas – songwriting, music production and direction, in creating an image and of course as a singer and actor. I see a huge career for this young man. I see him building an empire. Aren’t we lucky to be able to watch him do it?
Chunnie appears to be on automatic pilot to acting super stardom. Massive numbers of people just can not seem to get enough of him. He has an off-hand kind of boyish charm that appeals to a broad spectrum of fans. He also has a very good head on his shoulders and he’s had good luck so far in picking projects.
Junsu, the youngest and possibly the most talented of the three has really stepped out and stood out this year. He has finally begun to show us what he can do and I for one have been completely blown away by how fabulously accomplished he is, how poised and how READY he is to step into the spotlight with confidence at last. So it’s an exciting time to be a JYJ fan. The sky’s the limit for these three..
@jyj1214
..2013… JYJ world tour,, JYJ album, more drama, musicals, tv shows, and open tour in KOREA & Japan..

“SME/Avex, thank you both for being the backward thinking jackasses that you are. SEE, what you’ve helped create! Could not have done it without you.”

Finally….Recognition!!!!!
Forced to do other endeavors because of the ‘ban’ and excelling! 2013 will be even better!!!
“The era of JYJ” – this sounds like music to my ears. I definitely want to indulge myself in such era. XD It’s amazing to see each member conquers and receives considerable success in various fields. Their talents know no bound. I’m indeed looking forward to 2013 because of many promises: JYJ’s album and world tour, potential Jaejoong’s solo album, Jae’s next acting project, Junsu’s solo activity, etc.
It makes my heart glad when JYJ receives recognition like this for all their hard work. We all know they must go that extra mile to even be seen by fans and the general public; so I wish them continued success in 2013 and all future endeavors<333
It’s so heart warming to read such articles… <3
JYJ…fighting^^i see your hardworking for everything….support..support…support…them forever^^ love you….following…..
” JYJ continues to grow steadily, the group dominates in Films, Dramas, & in Musicals”
and this is amidst restrictions, and JaeChun have not yet used their “melody and harmony magic touch” being busy with their newly found profession as actors, just wait for these two to return to their music with Junsu, that will be more noteworthy !
and music, last time i checked the music charts every time JYJ’s music album is released, weather solo or group, they always rank 1st, on Gaon and Haneto, don’t forget that Mr. Reporter. JYJ/XIA dominate Korea’s pop album sales don’t forget to mention especially this Mr.reporter .

Yay! And aren't they gorgeous doing it?

Felt happy but also worried when look to these kind of news TT TT how to express my thought…..
well, in the recent post, there are a jyj family member give a very good comment ,i dun know who are he or she, but his thought is what in my mind too, so would like to share here….
“fans need to speak up instead of being quiet. JYJ’s album sales top other k-pop singers, so its logical they are considered well deserving for broadcast , music award attendance and live music performance broadcast including various entertainment shows broadcast.
tell the news, tell people who can help JYJ’s ban case, come to light. that way everyone would know SME is on the wrong because JYJ’s ban will reveal SME’s interference in blocking JYJ’s music thus hurting JYJ’s career, since they are singers they need broadcast, no way around it.
concerts are meant for a small number of people who already know the singer in order to come to the concert in the first place, but TV goes to billions of viewers around the world. not to 3000 to 80000 only, do fans understand why singers including JYJ need broadcast ? TV does not use a search engine that require you to know the name beforehand. TV reveals a singer’s music performance to the whole world directly without the viewers efforts to come across a celebrity ” by Chance”. DVD’s cost money, but TV is free for the viewer to see live performance directly without search effort and get to know a singer.
before this while in korea in that KBEE Junsu also talked about activities, he said its been two years we haven’t done activities in Japan, just before they went to Japan, like he was giving a message, in matter of fact if you noticed all of Junsu’s press conferences in Asia and South America he told the press many times “not allowed broadcast” now i see Jaejoong also started talking , this is good, talk about the ban so people notice the injustice and start talking too. being quiet isn’t helping anyone but SME
its been 3 years since JYJ were out of the music scene, means 3 years news singer have come to Japan, how many Japanese fans, will SME singers be able to gather for the next 3 years ? with JYJ out of competition new SME singers will be able to gather more fans than JYJ as time passes, and JYJ are still out of game because they are not introduced to new viewers as SME singers are going to be introduced for the next following 3 years as they had been for the past 3 years.
when that happens, SME singers fans will exceed JYJ’s fans. because new viewers never got to see JYJ on TV to know them, while SME singers get to perform their music to those new audiences resulting in expanding their fandom.
it is not great as, you and many fans think.
if you look at SNSD fandom before Japan, and how it grew after Japan “after JYJ were put out” and now in France.
maybe in future, we will see many SME singer kick JYJ’s album sales from 1st place. because that means numbers of JYJ’s fandom is no longer big, not because it shrank, but because others got to expand while JYJ halted three years ago, only a very small number get to know JYJ by chance. unlike SNSD and SUJU fandoms keep expanding thanks to TV in both Korea and Japan air them while banning JYJ from view.
i think Junsu celebrity mentions the ban case indirectly so that reporters dig up and investigate, i felt he was in a way asking for help, if you think about it, he was doing music and it must hurt real bad he could not perform his music on TV, and not attend music awards despite breaking Gaon history as Gaon representative said.
this pain i really feel it in his eyes during the whole Asian Tour, re-watch the videos and look at his eyes, the hopeful look there is murdering me, they need help, JYJ may not look it but i think they are desperate to attend music awards and see their music promoted on TV, to be officially included in music votes nominations, to perform their music on TV again.
i swear Junsu’s eyes when ever he opened his mouth on the “not allowed broadcast” stabs my heart and engulfs me with outrage.
all i want before i die is to see this ban lifted, SME and south Korean broadcast stations are stealing the only happiness i possess by causing this ban, i can’t wait much longer hoping this ban case will be solved one day , hoping is not enough anymore, action needs to be taken , the press, any legal venue that can investigate and puts the eyes of the world on the un-just ban JYJ are suffering from , in American press can make noise on JYJ’s case like they did on Psy, i am sure the international community will be talking just like they talked about Psy worldwide.
how can we get the big American press to notice JYJ’s case ? i am talking about the big press the same news agencies that popularized Psy to the world and Korea.
silence is serving SME. if fans don’t talk about the problem , it means there is no problem, and JYJ’s ban case IS a serious problem.”

i read all “his” thought and it also the thought deep inside my heart…. felt pain! They are talented ,deserve more support and viewer!!!! And sorry i used all your test without your permission….
Agree wholeheartedly…it is true that the ban made JYJ resort to other means to maintain popularity and are succeeding.
But, they do need to be in equal footing as the others. They should perform on TV, hold concerts in big venues, promote their projects like others. JYJ would have increased their fan base more. We are loyal but we need new fans with us!!!
How do we spread the word? Nightline (US show on ABC network) profiled Kpop after Psy became popular and the show showed SM (even showed the trainees training)….we need to write to these networks and big newspapers. It may show the ugly side of Kpop but needs to be done.
@haroo
I also feel your frustration.
Here’s where to go to find ways to speak out and be heard:
