Due to the fact that JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong is starring in «Code Name: Jackal» with Song JiHyo, recently there have been many hoping that he could appear on «Running Man», including Jaejoong himself.
Jaejoong recently expressed in an interview: “Most actors, after their movies are released, can go on entertainment/variety programs to promote. I hope that if given the opportunity, I could appear on «Running Man» with JiHyo noona. When I see the other actors working hard to promote the movie, even doing my portion, I feel very sorry and wish I could do better,” conveying his regret in not being able to appear on broadcasts.
The lawsuit between the three members of JYJ and SM Entertainment remains unresolved and as a result, JYJ are unable to go on major television music programs and variety shows.

I remember when Jae Suk with Joong Ki ‘accidentally’ turning right versus the left when they got off the bus on RM and we can see JYJs full image on the bus. There was absolutely no reason for Jae Suk to make the ‘wrong’ turn since they saw where they were going to go while on the bus. LOL
Looking forward to the day with JYJ on RM. Hoping is not a crime.

Yeah, Running Man is my favourite show too..I remember in ep12, at the end we can see SJK with Yoochun at SKKS filming set because of his punishment…How I wish JYJ will their guest soon..they must really missed to be on variety shows like what they did in their past time…
However, I don’t think it’s quite impossible …
Because when ‘Protect the Boss’ airs, only Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee appears on RM … also for ‘Rooftop Prince’, only Han Ji Min appears (though I don’t know the theme of the episode in which Han Ji Min appears) ….

No chance until the lawsuit is on… SM would jump on JYJ for appearing on TV despite the ban and that would make their lives more difficult. We need to be patient. The lawsuit cannot last forever.

I just watched that episode recently and it was hilarious! Jaejoong just completely let go of himself and turned into a natural variety show talent. Then again, Jaejoong has always been on the more unpredictable side of humor and you can never guess what’s going to come out of his mouth next. I’m so glad he doesn’t have to keep up that silly “mysterious” concept anymore (not that it lasted long when he first debuted anyway, lol). He and Jaesuk would own the funny in Running Man together.
I LOVE Running Man! And I would LOVE to see JYJ appear on Running Man as well. Can you imagine how much fun that would be? With the three boys’ sense of crazy humor, Jaejoong’s natural affinity for variety shows, Junsu’s uber competitiveness (and awesome athleticism), and Yoochun’s warm and laid back-ness. They would be that group of celebrities I’ve been dying to see show up on Running Man.
I haven’t watched the show in a while, but for a duration, I always felt the show needed some more competitive guests who can also have fun, be natural, and be casual with the rest of the Running Man members. There are one or two here and there (like the most recent episode with Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye, or whenever old Family Outing or X-Man friends appear on the show… ooh, or Choi Min Soo, the Running Man Hunter), but most of the time, I feel like Running Man is deliberately letting their guests win because the guests are really only there to show up and promote and not really to participate. But having seen these boys in variety during their TVXQ years, they really don’t hold back — everyone else tries to treat them like they’re made of glass, but when they go up against each other, they are brutal and that’s what makes it so much fun to watch them.
Put them up against Kim Jong Kook, because even though he looks buff and big, our boys are pretty darn athletic and muscular too. Their muscles aren’t just for show (though it is a bonus).
And then, also, bring Song Joong Ki back into the show for that one time as well and put him on the same team as his friend Jaejoong and we’ll have a ton of pretty to look at with JYJ and Song Joong Ki. That would fulfill SO many of my dreams all at once.
Man… if only it were possible…

I hate to bring gloom, but remember Junsu’s recent performance where he was the last performer, but they didnt broadcast him? I forget which/where, but that was SBS yes? That brings my hopes down for any JYJ appearances on Running Man (SBS)… also, I am seeing more of JiHyo eunnie promoting Jackal, but I too wish, hope, and pray for JYJ to have that freedom of being broadcasted. It has been over 3 years since the initial lawsuit >_<

This is an issue with JYJ not Jaejoong by itself. Jaejoong is not promoting JYJ activities, he’s promoting the movie. I dont know why they’re doing that. It would be great if Jaejoong was on running man, then Yoochun after ‘i miss you’ and Junsu just beacuse lol!!!
We (the fans) havent seen them in so long, together on tv. we miss them. and it wouldnt hurt if Song Joong Ki was back on running man. (he was there since episode 1) he was soooo cute.
If the production company wishes, Running Man could effectively remove the ban on JYJ by having them on as guests. Running Man is too big of a show to succumb from threats from production companies as they need the show.
