‘I Miss You’ got the top of Wed-Thu dramas after defeating ‘Jeon Woo Chi’.
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, ‘I Miss You’ on 6th recorded 11.5% of national audience rating. It’s 0.5% higher than its previous episode’s audience rating, which made it record its highest audience rating.
‘I Miss You’ became #1 among Wed-Thu dramas for the first time after it was released on November 7. The audience rating of the drama increased steadily, and finally it passed the audience rating of ‘Jeon Woo Chi’.

In ‘I Miss You’ on 6th, Joy(Yun Eun-Hye’s role) said to her mother Kim Myeong-Hee(Song Ok-Suk’s role) that she is Lee Su-Yeon, but also said that she cannot go back to Lee Su-Yeon. Kim Myeong-Hee cried out while saying that she will do that for her daughter, which made audiences cried. Also, it came out that a murderer of Kang Sang-Deuk was a janitor of a police office(Kim Mi-Kyeong’s role). Jeong-Woo(Park Yu-Cheon’s role) who suspected her went to her house, and fell down by a taser.

Meanwhile, ‘Jeon Woo Chi’ of KBS2 that had been #1 recorded 10.8%. ‘Dae Pung Su’ of SBS recorded 9.0% of audience rating.

Maybe they should take a survey from IFans! Haha. But seriously, this drama is amazing and I have seen lots. I used to wish for a happy ending (I’m sure we will get it;) but it almost doesn’t matter because the story and directing and acting and everything have been top notch! Totally worth it to watch and go through this journey.

I’m impressed coz it’s start with a low ratings which is good, it’s increase after a week n a week..I remembered before it’s airing, viewers predict this drama will lost because of Jeon Woo Chi n the Great Seer becoz they have Cha Tae Hyun, Ji Sung, Ji Jin Hee which is more famous n senior in Kdrama land but now it’s prove, PYC, he’s not only an idol, he has become a great actor now..Credits must give to all casts, director, screenwriter & crews as well..Good job guys

i am sad about some of those comments in that article.
i understand that u wanted the writer of this article to mention that yoochun is also getting praises for his acting too but there is no need to bring down another person to make yoochun look good. some of these comments are acting like yoo seung ho doesn’t deserve the praises he is getting.
he may not be well known to the international kpop fans but he is a rising actor in korea. the writer isn’t lying about yoo seung ho receiving praises for his acting in this drama. yoo seung ho is good actor. he been praise plenty of times before and isn’t the first time he stole some of spotlight from main leads of a drama he is in.
i love yoochun, and i think he is on his way to be really great actor but i won’t be putting down someone else (esp someone who is talented) just to make him (or any jyj member) look good.
Maybe you didn’t read the article or the comments carefully…the article made it sound like YSH is the reason the drama is number one now. The comments are actually kind to YSH and all the actors (including lots of praises to the supporting cast). I didn’t see any comment putting YSH down at all. Although lots of comments clarifying that PYC and YEH (especially being leads) and the rest of the cast and even he director and writer should have been mentioned too. I am assuming you haven’t seen MY or else you wouldn’t imply that YSH “stole some spotlight from the leads”…In MY, PYC does not need any put downs to others to make him look good. He is that good in his drama.
I agree with Lovejyj…Just see the tags in that article, we don’t see PYC, YEH or I Miss You’s name there meanwhile she tags all main casts for jeon Woochi..It’s not about YSH is not good or don’t deserve the praised..I don’t want to putting down him but if u really2 watch MY then u know who really deserved that praised…And YSH did not stole any spotlight from PYC coz PYC is just too amazing in MY..For me, that writer is just too biased or she’s JYJ haters coz it’s rare to see news about JYJ in AllKpop..
i read the article and the comments. tbh, u guys are reading way too much into it. articles are always like that. they mention one good thing about the drama and just move on. u can’t expect them to write all the reasons why the drama is successful unless they are doing a review.
beside u guys wouldn’t be complaining at all if yoo seung ho name was replace with yoochun. would still feel like the article is being bias then? would feel that it was being unfair to the other actors who are also getting praises?

don’t get me wrong, i believe yoochun is doing great job but a drama isn’t a one man show. yoochun isn’t the only one that is doing a good job, so are the other actors. just cause the writer of the article didn’t mention every single actor that doing a good job doesn’t mean s/he is being unfair.

i have seen yoochun acting in almost everything he ever been. since his days in banjun dramas, to vacation, to dating on earth, to his mobile drama beautiful love, to debut drama skk scandal, to miss ripely, to rooftop prince and now currently i miss you. rainbow romance i have seen only 1 cut ft. yoochun. i haven’t watch that series cause the subs are hard to find…. even though he is only guest in it.
do i pass now? can i pen down my comments now? or do i have to show proof? want a recap? want my internet history? do i have to quote lines from the drama? do tell. what else do i have to do to pen down my comments?
my whole point is that yoochun isn’t the only one who is getting praise in this drama. shocking, i know. he isn’t the only one who is doing a good job. i don’t get why u guys are tripping so freaking hard over this minor thing. did the article say yoochun suck? did article say yoo seung ho is the ONLY one who is getting praises? it doesn’t.
this is one of the reasons why drama fans get mad at kpop idol fans whenever there is idol involved in a drama, some of guys act like the drama is ONLY doing good cause of your idol. Reality check, he isn’t the only one getting praises. so did yoo seung ho, yoon eun hye, kim so hyun and yeo jin goo.
i love yoochun, been a fan since 2008. i always thought from the moment i watch banjun dramas that he had great potential to be an actor. seeing him improve so much since then makes me one proud fan. i honestly believe someday yoochun can be a top actor in korea. so sorry if i didn’t join the bangwagon and try to provide a voice of reasoning in the thread.

the reason i ain’t tripping over the article mentioning just yoo seung ho cause it isn’t a big deal. its not like writer mention the other actors names and excluded yoochun nor did it say yoo seung ho is the ONLY one getting praise either. now if that was the case, then i would have complain as well.

You are the one making comments regarding bringing down another person to make Yoochun look good. Nobody is doing that at all. And really, we dont have to. We are praising YSH AND EVERYONE associated with this drama. We are not even singling out PYC but you are though. You are the one bringing up the idea that we only want Yoochun to be hailed and mentioned. None of us are saying it here and most comments in the allkpop article are praising everyone too. So, where are this ‘bringing down’ and ‘putting down someone else’ comments coming from?
There is nothing wrong with voicing our opinion on anything but it has to make sense and be the truth also. Again, Missing You is a fantastic drama and everyone in it (from the leads to the supporting casts to the staff and crew and the director and writer) deserve kudos and praises.
Good point. Everyone did a great job. Just as JYJistheBOMB said, that site is mostly anti jyj. So the article writer only mentioned YSH. However just to emphasis what you guys already mentioned, he did not talk anyone down nor did he make it seem YSH was the reason for good ratings. He just didn’t mention other actor/actresses, just facts.
Just as YC had plenty of articles saying he is no longer an “idol actor.” I think one reason for mentioning YSH is that he had a “child actor” image and the praises were there to show he has finally gotten out of that image into “adult actor, ” which will allow chances for lead roles in the future. YC and YEH has already gotten the status of real actor and it’s should be understood they are great actors. They are just giving facts and letting people know YSH efforts are getting noticed without repeating what we already know. For sure, YC & YEH will get their awards in due time.

its what i read in some of the allkpop comments. ppl were acting like yoo seung ho wasn’t deserving of the praise… that yoochun should be mention instead of him. saying that yoo seung ho acting was average. i felt like they were putting him down. that is the reason why i wrote what i wrote.
i had no problem if u guys had praise yoochun. heck i did too. he is really nailing that role in my opinion. i just felt that u can do praising without having to put down someone else acting or react like yoochun is the only one who is worth praising and making the drama a success.

@jyjinfinitetimeturner I totally understand and respect you for supporting YSH. Every actor deserve a moment to be in the spotlight. Just because our bias isn’t mentioned, we shouldn’t be offended by it. Still, fans wanting YC to be mentioned may leave a negative impression of YSH but let’s be positive by assuming it wasn’t intentional. Just recently 121209 Song Ok Suk gave plenty of praises for our YC. Should a YEH or YSH fan be upset? Let’s all just equal loving support to whomever is mentioned in an article as long as no actor/actress is given negative review (unless they have supporting evidence to such comments). Having negative comments isn’t bad as long as we can learn from it.
AKP is a site well known for JYJ antis…but I notice lately that JYJers are showing their voice too, and critisize their writers. Seems to me that the writers did not like the lead actors which is Chun…and alot of readers and commenters agreeing with me. I personally believe that it’s our Chun that makes the rating higher.
Im my kpop world existence, most of the time i don’t believe what allkpop is posting, some articles just seems ridiculous and don’t make sense, i’d rather read from trusted sources /news site and translate it on the web lol
