I have question though, what’s the purpose of promotional bus when the concert’s tix already sold out?

Maybe they didn’t expect the tickets will be sold out before the bus is out..I bet they paid the adv before selling the ticks

I guess many may wander that as well. But Junsu’s parents told the fans at the XIA Day Korea celebration in Seoul that this was not a last minute plan. Junsu/CJES began planning for this concert in the Spring of this year.
That means that this type of advertisement where the Metro buses are wrapped would have been contracted and paid for well in advance. Even though the tickets sold out…it’s not likely they could just call the Advertising company and cancel the ads/contract.
But even so its not money wasted. NOTE: The ad emphasizes the fact that there will be a LIVE ORCHESTRA.
No other K-pop artist (YET that is .. just waiting for the copy cats!) has offered this type of concert.
Those in the general population who may not follow or even hate K-pop.. may simply still think of Junsu as strictly
K-pop artist. This ad may now help to make people aware that Junsu is moving well beyond the K-pop presentation.
So the ad still has potential for generating BUZZ for him and he may pick up new fans along the way.. so it’s still a good investment.
Here is the Xia Bus from May 2012 that toured Seoul just before his very first concert from the XIA 1st Asia Tour.
