Today, we’re spotlighting the men who can do it all – jacks of all trades in the entertainment world who gave us more reasons to love them. This year, the boys not only branched out of the idol world and found success in other areas of the entertainment industry, from variety to dramas and film, but they took their talents across the world as well.
Park Yoo Chun
JYJ member Park Yoo Chun took on 2012 full force, starring in two dramas, from the romantic comedy Rooftop Prince to the melodrama I Miss You, that not only showcased his versatility as an actor but solidified his status as a TV heartthrob.
Although Park Yoo Chun faced his fair share of tragedies in 2012, with the death of his father, the singer and actor proved to be resilient, the ultimate mark of a true jack of all trades.

yuchun opa…..hardworking….fighting
Jack of all trades and master of all. This man stepped into acting and pretty much expectantly became one of the best actor out there, almost shedding the idol-actor title in my opinion. Yoochunnie saranghae! My fave actor! I watch all your drama even though I hardly have time to catch up with the latest K dramas! May ‘missing you’ clinch many awards with you in it! If not the upcoming awards, let it be the next! And for all your productions in the future!
Ps: If JYJ gets to go onto TV broadcasting anytime soon, I think Yoochun will be at the top of the list of hosts they want to get. He was and still is super humorous and witty!
I agree with you that he is master of all trades instead of jack of all trades. He is multi-talented in music, acting, song-writing..I am very awed by how well he acted in missing you, and kept asking myself “how did he do this? How can he be this good?” Really really amazed by my favourite man! Yeah, may he win the MBC and SBS awards this year!
I agree…he would be a great mc..
Congrats Chunnie^^
Jack of all trade for sure, is pure win to have him in hand (your loss SM XD)
Jack of all trade ?? Doesn’t that mean someone who did many things and good for nothing. Correct me if I am wrong. Renaissance man << Should be a better word choice ..
@Yuri Micky
what i know of jack of all trade is someone who can do several different jobs but not very good at any of them…i think renaissance man is better.
@Yuri Micky
Jack of all Trades? What I know too is, it refers to a person with many skills but is not necessarily outstanding in any of them. Correct me if I’m wrong.
The correct phrase is “jack of all trades, master of none.” Basically it means you’re decent, good, or proficient at many things but not the best at any one of them.
Thanks everyone. I thought Jack of all trade was negative sense. But it seems like not that bad
