JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s first solo album has garnered attention and has become a hot topic in Japan.
Ever since the pre-order sales have started 5 days ago, Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini-album ‘MINE’ has occupied the no 1 position in the charts of online sites such as Gmarket and Rakuten. The fact that it topped the reservation chart of Rakuten, Japan’s largest internet shopping mall is impressive.
Due to agency problems, Kim Jaejoong does not have any activities in Japan. However, even if there are no promotions or activities, he still has the interest of local fans. The Protect the Boss OST, in which Kim Jaejoong has particpated, became number 1 last year in Gmarket Japan.
(T/N: to clarify, Gmarket JP and Rakuten started pre-orders since last week, ahead of the official pre-order date for Korean sites)

I thought that pre-orders started first yesterday O_o
But anyways Jaejoong is the prince of Japan so this is not surprising ^_^

Congratulation JJ. Even his posters topped Rakuten. I saw it with my very own eyes. So proud.
Reblogged this on claudellele.

Being at the top is sweeter if there’s a tough competition,
and Jaejoong got an exciting game, big names are releasing at the same time as him !
daebaaakkk!!! so i guess no need to worry.. jyj as a whole will always have supporters everywhere..jaejoong hwaiting!!! jyj hwaiting!!!
Japan is prince jj’s middle name…wooohoo..so happy for jj..=)

Awesome
JYJ fan’s power kekeke
Congratulation Jaejoong!
We also get ready to support your various charts!
So sad due to the commercial conflict, you got no chance to promote…
and recently due to political reason, hallyu seems being cooled down a lot.
Hopefully can take this time to expand to even greater market eg China
As Jaejoong explores rock genre, and successfully performed ” For You (Neoreul Wihae)” – Lim Jae Bum) before
strongly suggest try sing a song by Chinese famous singer
Dao Lang – The First Snow of 2002 / 刀郎 – 2002年的第一场雪
This song was debut in 2004 ( same year DBSK debut )
official CD sales minimum 2,700,000, and uncounted other repacking.
Possibly this will rock the China market AT ONCE, and can penetrate the market easier.
( this will maximizes Jae’s own favorable condition as singer, instead of consume more time on TV drama / movie)
** perhaps Jae would be the first one who can do this if this really happen.
Other Korea artists in China mostly sing ballad of Teresa Tang. Which may ok to” Han ” race,
yet quite limited to other races in China.
( just my own opinion)
JJ’s effect……..!!! Congrats uri JJ…….!!^^
cool!!
@glacial.music:
Have a feeling that Jaejoong is stalking blogsites like this as I think he listens to his fan suggestions…why did he decided to go rock?? he must have read our pleadings..hahaha..wish he reads your advice
everyone plz buy JJ’s first album and show your support for him
I wonder what’s the agency’s problem? It’ll be good if Jae could promote in Japan…
Isn’t the verdict date for the AVEX lawsuit coming up pretty soon now? (that’s what the “agency dispute” is) We should soon know the outcome of that trial.
do you think that anything would change even if JYJ win ?
I have a feeling AVEX is just another SM in Japan .
@meme & JYJ
Again, just like in Korea, it’s up to the fans to insist on change. If no one mobilizes there, if no one does anything, if they all just sit back and wait politely, then no – why should anything change? There are countless examples of what activism achieves around the world in every era. Japan will be no different. If they sit and do nothing, nothing will change. If they act, if they protest and make their voices heard, then absolutely things will change.
Yes it is. AVEX once was JYJ agency in Japan organizing very succesful concerts including concerts at Tokyo dome and Osaka dome But eventhough JYJ gaining much profit, their contract was abruptly terminated by AVEX (only a few hours after the release of sungkyunkwan scandal ost). Legal dispute with SM was stated as the reason. I guess SM treathened them that they won’t be the agent of other SM artists (like Suju, shinee, snsd etc) if they insist on being JYJ’s agent.
Good job, Japanese fans! Now, it’s i-fans’ turn to show real support to Jaejoong’s first solo album.
Everything about Jae tops charts in Japan although he has almost zero activities and appearance there. I can’t wait until JYJ can return to their second home. They will show people who are the real Hallyu king there.
Jaejoong was most loved in Japan back in the old days and still is most loved today in Japan. So proud of him.I’m one of the fans who loves him no matter what he acts, what he sings, what he does.
