Less than a day after Kim Jaejoong’s ONE KISS has been released, it became number 1 on the iTunes music charts in 5 countries.
On the 8th, Kim Jaejoong has unveiled the track ONE KISS from his mini solo-album. Shortly after its released domestically, it became no. 1 on real-time charts such as Bugs and Cyworld. It also ranked #1 on iTunes music chart in Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Kim Jaejoong also conquered the rock charts. Aside from the 5 countries, it has topped the iTunes chart rock category in Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This has proven Kim Jaejoong’s successful transformation to a rocker.
A music official said, “The intense sound and exquisite blend of Kim Jaejoong’s unique voice has managed to make trendy songs. Its sophisticated melodies will attract listeners from North and South America, and Europe. When the album is released, we can expect it to hit the global charts.”
Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini-album has heightened expectations since it also ranked no 1 on Japanese online music stores such as Tower Records, HMV, and Amazon.
Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini-album MINE will be released on Jan 17.

AWESOME JOB, JAEJOONG….the song was truly epic……i was very happy to see it well received from many non- jyj fans as well…….though, maybe someone can answer this for me….but ‘one kiss’ was only hovering around 28 on mel0n charts……i dont know if that is the case for all sk music charts…..but i was very confused to see that happen…….have people in sk forgotten jaejoong or what?
I read somewhere that One Kiss topped the general category in 5 countries and topped the rock category in 9 countries.
Even everything just happens in an instant with no promotion, making marks in foreign countries is already a noteworthy achievement. Unfortunately it’s still unavailable on iTunes in Canada, Germany, US, UK and possibly more. Hopefully CJes will exhaust all efforts to make it available to all international fans or else some will just sort to illegal downloading.

Sis, I didn’t know about PH itunes, once One Kiss was released yesterday I bought it immediately in Soribada, can’t hold myself to listen to the whole. I’m holding my breath everytime I listen to it especially the chorus part and how he pronounces “One Kiss” is so sexy, and “one heart” with the emphasized “t” at the end … so sensous
So is he gonna promote or be invited to any of the countless music, entertainment, or variety show in SK?
I hope a certain party realizes that what they did in the past 3 years have costed their remaining talents a lot in term of popularity and approval. Please stop this boycott so that everyone can move on, the past is the past, having JYJ back on TV will actually reflect good on that other party. Everyone is now more aware of kpop thanks to Psy, good image is important if they are planning activities in the US, this blacklisting will not slip anyone’s radar here, why don’t they think about it.

, your pronunciation was flawless in all the English lyrics in the past Japanese releases. But again, that was in Avex, & their recordings there were always spot on.
Speaking of Avex, any news about the lawsuit. I wish they can be done with it already. Despite the unpopular opinion, I don’t mind if JJ were to sign with them again IF and only IF that’s what he wants. Avex has some of the best artists in Japan, and they really supported JJ in THSK or in JJY. If I were Matsura and co., I would swallow my pride and get him back, he by himself is more popular than all the other hallyu artists and more loved than a lot of the other Japanese actors and singers.
Whatever the case, I hope you finally get the recognition that you truly deserve in Korea, let’s hope for a better 2013 and a fair system for you & JYJ.
