To foreign fans who can’t understand why the song has been picked-up: The song that JJ picked to sing at the concert is one of the very famous Korean Oldies-but-Goodies. The original singer had passed away in his early 30s. He is, I would say, a Korean version of Bruce Springsteen. He is a legend. The song is very poetic and thoughtful love song. As a music fan, (not just as a JYJ fans =)) I’m so glad that JJ picks such a beautiful but difficult song. Just trust JJ. He won’t disappoint you all. =) You will listen to another beauty of Korean songs.
Congrats for the song choice..!! I can totally picture jaejoong singing this song..it will be a blast…!! (So sad for the fanwars on the official JYJ facebook)..I hope and pray the boys won’t even peek at the page..sigh…
IKR…I didn’t even bother placing my song seeing the overwhelming Hug request (knowing he can’t and shouldn’t sing it in his vey important first solo concert)…The dialogue in FB has been brutal! I just lurked a little and SMH. JYJ always and forever!
For those pp unhappy that Hug wasn’t chosen, sorry but this was never going to be a “majority wins” situation. Ultimately Jaejoong decides.

Great choice of song, this is my type of song.During my younger years I used to hang out in folk rock house (bar with live folk rock singers/band) .
I can already imagine Jaejoong’s version of it, another song on the repeat mode. Hope CJes will post HQ videos of all Jae’s concert performances, a great way of promoting him and his songs since he can’t appear on music shows. I’ve watched YG’s concert videos, and they never in any way decrease their concert attendance, those videos invite more new fans and increase enthusiasm to watch their concerts.

The singer reminds me of Bob Dylan. The song is beautiful, but sad and I hope that Jaejong sing the song as it is, without arrangement with the sole accompaniment an acoustic guitar.
@semeuse: I think you can try the better version of this song (sang by the famous rocker Kim Kyung Ho). It is the problem of the own singer (natural voice, singing skills, personality) that can make a song become sad or not.It’s a wonderful song itself
I love this song in any of its versions! Got to listen to it because Nam Woohyun sang it on Immortal Song 2 and I totally fell for it. So happy Jaejoong chose to sing it! Really looking forward to his version, I’m sure it will sound incredible ♥
