A kick-ass mv this is! Jaejoong has just the kind of attitude to carry off this type of song. I like the piano in the middle and end, which is a nice contrast against the heavy beats. Oh and that sexy grunt he did at the ending note^^

Stunning!! This MV is definitely not for light entertainment. It is like JJ is baring his soul to us in it, so much so that it was a bit overwhelming for me when I watched it the first time. A great MV indeed.
Goth style and rock/metal music is the way to go to express those inner dark emotions we have and are hard to get rid, so I do understand why Jae chose this concept, totally goes with what he’s feeling, he’s really letting his frustrations out. Freedom of expression is A…OK in my world, deal with it or just don’t bother to understand how some people let out those inner demons that are haunting us , love the MV, dark Jae really rocks!

I want to write a long-ish review like I did for the MV teaser, but my soul is already crying out from being deprived of the MV. It’s only been 5 minutes, soul, chill!
OK, so. God. I needed to muster up all my courage to actually watch it since my heart was beating so fast and ad;jaflskjf. I listened to the song first, once again, so as to not be distracted by the visuals. Can I be honest? When I first heard it, I have to say I was a little… disappointed…? Well, not really, but the MV teaser sort of has me expecting a more heavy, goth sound. I wish the song actually had that piano intro and then awesome build-up to the guitars, and of course JJ’s ghostly line when he’s running into the crows. I actually wish those parts were really there in the song. But, even though it’s not as dark as I expected, through multiple listenings, I’ve come to absolutely LOVE this song! (I really hope that one day JJ will do a heavier rock song, though. Rock is my one true love, besides JJ. I’m only in KPop because of JJ/JYJ/DB5K. It’s all JJ’s fault though, so he better make it up to me).
I love the beginning, both of the song and the MV. The start of the MV is so gorgeous! I love the scene, the colours, the cameraman-ship, JJ’s gorgeous, lost, innocent beauty, everything. The dog was creepy! JJ’s voice, when it starts, is absolutely breath-taking. It gives me shivers, like legit shivers. My heart hurts from his beautiful voice.
And then the part where he’s chained up. I love that awesome circle thingie he’s tied. I also love what he’s wearing (his back is all exposed kkkk) and god he looks so feral there. The way he breaks the chains, and when they fall sort of on him, I was like ‘ouch’. But I’m thinking those aren’t real chains, of course, so they won’t be heavy. And then when he straightens up and tosses the chain behind him like a BOSS. God that is one of my favourite parts.
Another favourite scene is when the piano comes on again in the middle, and JJ ‘plays’ it in midair. The one where he’s wearing the crystal mask thingy is the best. And the shot directly after that, where he’s in the Church setting and sort of glides his hand over his face… gah. And OMG SHIRTLESS!JJ!!!!! I love all the close-up shots of his bodayyyy and tats! I really want to know what that not-really new tattoo along his spine says.
The third fav scene is where the snake is all over him. Gah! I just absolutely love that sequence! Especially the one where the snake is going inside his leather hoodie thing, and the one where he holds the snake up.
Then when he jumps like a BOSS and lands and altar and god those gorgeous wings unfurling and afkofajfoipksf!!!! I CAN’T!!!
I especially love the last two choruses at the end. And oh god, the awesome growl thing he does in that last word….. It got me pregnant ok. JJ be responsible for my child. I think it’s really fitting that it was a scene with the crystal mask that accompanied the growl part. I honestly think that the crystal mask scenes are my favourite.
I love how there’s this storyline running throughout the MV. It’s been a while since I actually saw an MV have a story. I guess the only scene I don’t understand is the one where he’s wearing a shark hat kinda thing….
So… I meant to make this super short but yeah… it turned out like this.. XDDDD I wonder if anyone will even read this. Isn’t this post old by now XDD Now I’m gonna go watch MINE again.

My favorite part, the whole of it since it’s all Jaejoong, lol, but I can’t help to shy away from the snake part, I can’t stand watching it straight, feels like the snake is crawling on me but I find it very very artistic. I’m amazed with every detail of this video!
Hahaha! I’m happy people have read it. After going through it myself right now, I realise it’s less of a review and more of a sapzz, but yeah… ^^ This is seriously my favourite MV EVER. Hands down. There is so much detail, so much attention paid to everything that I need to watch it again and again and again to focus on every single aspect of it (and also get shocked by our Visual Shock). I played it slow-mo to capture everything about it, but I still haven’t seen all the details yet. This is seriously a GRAND-SCALE mv. I’m really surprised by how extravagant it is (and I really want to know, is that really the original “For the Love God” skull….? If so, then awesome!). They must have had a HUGE budget for this, not being stingy like some other company we may or may not know.
And well yeah, the whole MV is my favourite part too! XD But those scenes I mentioned sort of appealed to me a little bit more than the others. Aww, I absolutely LOVE the snake part! Lots of people on Youtube and all are sort of eeked out by the snake part! XD But yeha, it’s very artistic!

lol I think there is time added to the video and thus the soundtrack for it might be longer than the actual song. Anyway, I found it and I’ve listened a few times now. I guess I’m Old School that way – I want to just hear the song first and listen to the performance of the track, instrumental parts, guitar sounds, etc. I just love the song and the guitar work. Jaejoong’s vocal is great, but then I knew it would be.He did some interesting things vocally that made me want MORE. I love the collab with Kim Bada – what a winner. I’m so happy for Jaejoong, but now we just have to push to get him on the music shows…

Not K-Pop? Oh, that’s for sure! “Mine” is definitely NOT K-Pop, either is “One Kiss.”. It’s Rock. It’s universal. I’m really not getting that Jaejoong wants a whole lot more to do with K-Pop. When he had the nerve to want to get paid for being as successful as he was, we all saw that the purveyors of K-Pop formed impenetrable ranks against him that held for 3 years. I’m not any too sure that the singing/dancing dolls of yesteryear hold much appeal to him anymore, although I wouldn’t doubt that he may still participate in that style if the other two members of JYJ still want to.
I guess for me, the big question mark is Chunnie. What will he do? Which way will he go? The series is over, and it would seem to me that It’s Time For Some Music from him. But what will he do? He’s soooo private now and unforthcoming about what he’ll do, what he thinks about things. Has anyone else noticed this? Chunnie has become silent as the Sphinx now! He just doesn’t share himself or his thought or feelings. If I had to choose one word for him it would be “wary” or maybe “elusive.”

Well, Jaejoong has long been seen to be an exceptionally gifted singer, with his own trademark sound, recognizable anywhere. Music is his passion. It’s his first and best love. Of course, as a musician he is just in the beginning stages his long career. I hope we all can appreciate that. These are his earliest works. Early- and mid-twenties. There is much, much, much more to come from Jaejoong. This is why I am so excited about these songs. they are not the work of a musician just beginning to learn his craft. Far from it. I’ve said it before repeatedly, but we get so caught up in the way he LOOKS in his astounding beauty. But look beyond that – this is a profoundly talented man in a variety of areas. Look forward to MORE of everytrhing.
