Thanksgiving con has been long overplayed with their suspended activities. sis, i may get virtual slaps from eels (JKS fans) saying this, but his intervening fame and album Let Me Cry at Oricon chart,in 2011, i could not forget rethinking when i heard the live during Cri Show. likened to just got lucky being pulled up by a general sweep at the surge of korean wave. they may even be new generation of k-idols making charts but the first k-pop hallyu catalyst in the once TVXQ5 is now waving artists JYJ with vibrant promising colors.

yah know japan is gonna love his album! they are some fans who have been really waiting patiently for JYJ to appear again. i think his songs will really appeal to them also.
Can you believe some little twit on AllKPop actually told me that it was NO BIG DEAL at all for Jaejoong to be at Number One on all these charts when the album first comes out – that ALL the groups are at number one then! Can you imagine??
I would claim he is a butthurt loser but sometimes I do understand why people are skeptical. The minute an album from TVXQ or SuJu or SNSD is released they stay in 1st play for like…a week and their fans yack on and on about “All Kills” on all these charts. Then people completely forget about these albums (sometimes even the fans) until a “repackaged” version is released. The repackaged version is like…maybe 1 new song and a “remix” of a hit in the original album. It stays in the top 5 for another week and these albums pretty much aren’t remembered until the completely fabricated end of the year “prestigious” awards are handed out. Same old, same old.
I believe this album is a success because I actually heard the songs! I KNOW this is a quality album but someone who hasn’t will probably think that this will get the idol album treatment like all the others. “IGAB” was pretty bad but is still managed to snag 1st place in some charts so people start to think of these things as a joke. Quite a shame.

You mean there are STILL people on the planet who don’t know that SM BUYS chart positions, pays off people at the various K-Pop websites, routinely does Buy-Backs that suggest actual sales and generally fixes the entire K-Pop industry with the hope of hoodwinking young, Uninformed Fans into believing their “acts” are popular?? Really? Hard to believe.
Then they issue a quarterly profits report and…..Oops! Earnings under-reported by 50%. Gee… where are all of those millions that their gigantic hit idol groups must have generated during the year?
LOL!!! Yes people still don’t get that many times these supposed “all kills” are just positions bought from the companies. I know that isn’t the case for Jae but very unfortunately it doesn’t keep people from making these assumptions. Until this practice stops any album that is successful (especially from idols) automatically gets dismissed as over-hyped, bought for by their company or pushed by devoted fans with no lives.
Again, we know that isn’t the case for Jae since even people who don’t care for JYJ or idols in general gave good reviews but that monkey you talked to most likely hasn’t heard the album and doesn’t care to because he is driven by stereotypes about idols which are mostly true. Luckily for us those stereotypes don’t apply to Jaejoong.

The day that happens I’m predicting the whole Idol genre will implode. I mean, lets face it. The vast majority of them are very young, very pretty little boys who can’t sing live to save their lives. Isn’t this an open secret even among their die-hard fans? They are manufactured from the ground up to be as seductive as they can possibly be to appeal to very young teens. They can not really be seen as actual singers, artists, anything other than salesmen for sublimated, carefully positioned Unattainable Desire.
What kills me is that there are SOOO many great singers in Korea. Really – more than I can possibly innumerate and I’m sure I’d miss some great ones if I tried. And yet all of this attention is being paid to these barely talented, carefully chiseled boys. I’m telling you – it must be HELL…. I mean impossibly depressing to be a really genuinely good singer in Korea.
