Yes, it’s true. Completely lip-synced. I’m slightly amazed that everyone is so “happy” about this, the latest insulting ordeal that Our Boys have had to endure (like the PROS they are.) When they finished and virtually no one even applauded?? I’d bet that was the first time THAT’S ever happened to them… Really, I’m just heartsick about this.
@lilibaiyu yes my heart hurts for them what they went through…. and the way people just stood up and started their own conversations totally ignoring their performance and talking through the performance also…. I am sorry but I was really shocked and flabergasted that these grown ups (grown people) did not have the common courtesy/decensy for the performers to wait till they were finished before getting up and acting as though the whole thing was over. .

That’s what I was thinking, I was waiting for triumphant waving and smiling after their set but I thought I sensed something amiss. Yoochun for one looked thoroughly disappointed. It must have hit them how their absence affected their “popularity” back home. Not stirring the pot here, though, this is just how I read their reactions :/

No of course not – no pot-stirring here either. I think most people here know us well enough to know for sure that we are devoted to JYJ and their well-being in every way. Saying they lip-synced isn’t a criticism – it’s merely a fact. Given the extraordinarily poor quality of the “venue” they performed in, I think they probably made the right call to do so.
Having just stepped off the private jet that China provided for him, Yuchun had a real basis of comparison to judge how they were once again being treated in their own country and I’m guessing he was not pleased at all. I may be totally off-base here, but my feeling is that Yuchun has a very low threshold for being insulted. He’s a big BIG star now and he is quite aware of it. Not that it makes him arrogant, not at all, but when he gets slapped in the face in public, I’m guessing he gets pissed off. I could be totally wrong.
You are damn right about this not being a happy/great moment! I just didn’t dare to ruin all the positivity in this room, geez thank god I’m not the only one who saw this. How jyj were treated by both the audience and the announcers was extremely rude and humiliating! As if our boys haven’t had enough of that! Just when I was wondering what could possibly go wrong! The look on jyj’s faces is really killing me. After such a “happy” event Jaejoong would usually tweet something.. But his silence is killing me even moooore!!

lol, since most of the Korean general public just know JaeChun as actors …. so maybe a lot were surprised seeing the detective singing

. Yes I’m really happy watching the three of them singing especially YC (we’ve been hearing Junsu singing all this time and recently Jae comes back as a singer, so I miss YC the singer a lot). I think I’m shallow that I don’t care much of other things anymore to be happy, JYJ standing there as singers is enough. Parang manhid na siguro ako, I forgot all those bitter feelings if I can see and hear them singing and I think JYJ will feel burdened if their fans will always have that bitterness, they strive so hard to please us so I’m learning to enjoy and be appreciative to every little thing they can offer.

The guys did great with I Know (absolutely love Junsu’s adlib!) and Holding The End of Tonight, i was thinking actually they could have done the beginning choreo for I Know
I like the cleaned-up version of the videos, it allows you to enjoy those 2 songs without all the noise, but i also enjoy the “live” feel of the 2nd video, it’s like i’m actually there.

I think the acoustics are not very good and let’s not forget it’s still winter. I think it justifies the playback.

So I am a little confused. Was their full performance shown on tv or not? Besides the Japanese video are all the videos from Korean tv stations? Actually at what point did YC mess up? I just do not see where he messed up at.
On another note I can not stop playing the videos over and over. They sounded and looked amazing!!!!! I am so in love with thier performance of those two other songs!!!! I am in JYJ happy land right now!!!!!!!

“holding the end of tonight” was simply beautiful!! I can’t get enough of the songs. Chun, Jae, and then Su all were delivering their part beautifully, i want a full version of JYJ’s cover for that particular song. Anyone knows who’s song was that? I think the lyrics should also be great.
Be proud boys, no one, nothing could ever bring your talents down!!! Not the humiliating/disgracing comments from the tv’s reporter nor the lack of airing time. Fighting till the end!!!
I’m happy to see them on stage, in Korea performing in front of a big crowd. If they’re happy so am I. I love you, JYJ!
Dispite what the rude man commentator said I still fill this performance was a huge and amazing thing for JYJ. Looking at some of the postive things that came out of them performing is they finally was performing on tv, they sounded beyond amazing, they looked awesome and they did this all in front of 70 thousands people. Even though every thing was not right, JYJ walked away from this performance with some wins in my eyes. The commentator still should apologize but he still did not take away the positive things about this honorable performance for JYJ.

Congrats! Even if we were disappointed because the whole performance was not aired, but having been invited to such a large celebration when the organizers could have chose to invite other group was to me, already an accomplishment of the boys. I think the audio was not good because, we have to consider the bigness of the venue (what, 70,000 people were in the audience) besides other factors like it was an open field with helicopters hovering above it, and it was not designed for a concert anyways. The people behind them were I think, mostly politicians, diplomats and Gov’t employees who couldn’t careless about the performances in front of them because they’re busy people and who probably don’t know them because they haven’t seen them on tv perform. I doubt that they’d go to youtube to search for them and check them out. And the audience, we have not seen them respond to the performance because the reports did not show it, so I guess only those who were able to attend it can attest whether our boys were completely ignored or not.
I hope somebody will post a fanaccount of this event.

That’s a very good idea, let’s hope for a fan account because otherwise, I’m just inches from accusing the media of manipulating what they showed in order to show JYJ in a very bad way. In other words, media sabotage. “Yes, we’ll show you JYJ, we’ll show them to you in the worst possible circumstances, how’s that?” Something along those lines.
At the end of the performance, the audio and video I saw showed virtually NO applause. The guys just looked stunned. A man in a raincoat wandered across the stage while they were singing and no one stopped him. Unbelievable. So I’m pretty upset and pretty mad still, but I would like to hear a fan account.
I love our boys so much.
So talented, their voices are heaven for me. True performers, they gave their very best.

JYJ’s performance was absolutely wonderful! They displayed professionalism and greatness matched by none. Because of their great talents, character, and beauty, they truly are Korea’s national treasure AND DESERVE THAT RECOGNITION BY THE KOREAN PEOPLE.
it must have been a good choice not to sing live.. i just noticed that jae got a lot of mistakes on the lyrics.. maybe they didn’t have the time to practice because of their schedule and individual activities..
I know the circumstances weren’t perfect, but I’m so happy to see JYJ singing together again. I can’t wait for their new album & concerts.
