JYJ was sent off and welcomed by a big crowd of fans in Korea and Japan.
JYJ′s Park Yoo Chun, Kim Jae Joong and Kim Junsu left for Japan through Kimpo Airport in Seoul on March 27, a few days before its historical Tokyo Dome concert was to take place.
500 fans said goodbye to JYJ in Korea, and over 1,000 local fans welcomed the group to Japan at Haneda Airport.
An agency rep said, “We had to clear benches and set up a safeline for the fans who were crowding the airport after hearing the group would arrive in Japan. This is a very rare sight to see even in Japan, and it proved how popular the group is in the country.”
JYJ′s Tokyo Dome concert will take place from April 2-4, and is the group′s first in Japan since June 2010. All tickets sold out, with over three times the number of people allowed in the venue applying for tickets.
The last concert of the series will be relayed live to theaters across Japan. Over 210,000 fans are expected to join the group at its concert.

JYJ really heated up both Japan and South Korea’s airports!
JYJ will be holding their Tokyo dome concert on April 2-4. On March 27, they left for Tokyo via the Gimpo Airport in South Korea. Over 500 fans waited at the airport at a very early time to see their favorite group leave for Japan.
Once JYJ arrived at the Tokyo International Airport, nearly 1,000 fans were waiting for them. The Japanese fans stayed within the designated safe lines and cheered on JYJ while they sat down on the floor.
A representative stated, “Once news broke out that JYJ was arriving in Japan, too many fans came to the airport. That is why the airport provided benches and other furniture. They also made a safe line. This is a rare case in Japan, and it reaffirms JYJ’s popularity in Japan.”

Group JYJ has been gaining much attention at airports in both Korea and Japan.
JYJ left for Japan yesterday to prepare for their Japan dome concert. At the airport, they gained much attention as 500 fans came in order to catch a glimpse of the group.
This continued in Japan when they arrived as well. When they reached the Japan airport, they were greeted by around 1,000 fans waiting for them. The airport staff had to put up lines for safety.
An official commented, “Because so many fans showed up to their entrance at the Japan airport, security had to remove benches and put up safety lines. This type of action is usually not seen in Japan and showed just how popular JYJ was in Japan.”
On the other hand, JYJ will be holding a concert at the Tokyo Dome next month from April 2-4. It has been 3 years since they last visited the domes in Japan. This 3 day concert will gather around 150,000 fans.
This Tokyo Dome concert is called, ‘The Return of JYJ’ and will be held from April 2-4. The poster for this concert was also revealed on their website.
Rehearsal photos for their upcoming concert was also released online. They were revealed on their official Facebook page and showed them working with the band and testing out miss and the music.

JYJ debuted in 2010 as a three member group. They were also the first K-pop group to perform in Chile a well.
They have a huge fan base all around the world and have become true global stars.
