Actor-singer Park Yoo-chun’s action sequence in the new SBS drama “The Girl Who Sees Smells” is drawing attention ahead of the first episode on Wednesday.
In the series, the first episode of which airs Wednesday, Park plays Choi Mu-gak opposite Shin Se-kyung.
Park’s character is a police detective who lost all his senses after the murder of his sister.
Shin plays Oh Cho-rim, whose senses with the exception of the sense of smell have been heightened after she awakes up from a coma.
Since the coma, she has also developed the ability to see scents rather than smelling them.
In the 1-minute teaser released on Wednesday, Park is seen breaking through a window in pursuit of a suspect.
He then engages the suspect in hand-to-hand combat while being assaulted with various objects ranging from small items to a chair.
“The scene was full of dangers, but Park Yoo-chun’s natural motor skills and the rehearsals allowed a good scene to be shot,” an SBS official said.
With SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells‘ set to premiere tonight, many are looking forward to catching JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun trademark comedic acting.

In addition, Park Yoo Chun will be showing off his action and comedy image through Choi Moo Gak.
‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ will premiere tonight (April 1st) through SBS TV.

Actress Park Han Byul will be making a surprise cameo for “The Girl Who Sees Smells.”
In the still-cuts that were released before the first episode, the actress is seen locked in a white room. She seems desperate to escape, forecasting an unfortunate story for her and making the audience curious as to what her role could be.
One of the people in the production says, “Park Han Byul’s role will intensify the plot’s mood and serve as an important part of the drama despite her short appearance.”
The upcoming drama, “The Girl Who Sees Smells,” is a mystery/suspense, romantic comedy that is between a girl who has unique senses and a detective who is oppositely numb to some of his senses.
The first episode is airing April 1 at 10 p.m. KST so don’t miss out!
