JYJ3′s Note:
Dear readers,
As you know we prepared a “Thanks to you” Fan Project that was delivered on November 2012 to JYJ, Because this is the end of the year 2012. We want to share our JYJ’s letter to International Fans, this letter was delivered together with the rest fans that participated on this project.
JYJ3 Staff will continue supporting Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu from JYJ. ♥
Happy New Year 2013!
Hello JYJ,
We are JYJ3 Team,
We are an international fansite created on January 2th, 2011. The birth of JYJ3 came from the sincere feelings of international fans who wanted to do something support JYJ in difficult times and to inform the very large international fandom of the real situation in Korea. Through the hard work of our team members we have been able to reach the place where we are today. Thanks to the support of the people that joined JYJ3 Team and to the fans that wanted a place for JYJ’s fans only, we are proud to say that we have grown to become one of the biggest international fansites for JYJ.
All this time JYJ3 has worked to be a place for fans to come read and talk about the most recent JYJ news and activities. We are also proud that it is a friendly place for new JYJ fans as well. But we have always wished to reach out to you so we can better understand each other and we wanted to assure you of our continued support of JYJ in the future.
We believe this is the best way to become closer to you and strengthen the relationship between us (as fans) and JYJ (as artists). This is why we are happy that this first project has become a reality. Because we are international fans that come from many different parts of the world it is more difficult for us to show our support together, but we hope this is only the first of many more projects to come.
With our “THANKS TO YOU….” Project, your international fans want to express the words that we have never said directly to you. We want to take this opportunity to express how much your music, talent, words, and fighting spirit have been an inspiration to us. Your example of determination and humanity gives us confidence and hope in our own lives. We can only offer you our gratitude for that in return.
JYJ, we want to say we know there is a lot more waiting for us ahead on this road, but please don’t forget that you are not alone and that you have your international fans supporting you.
Please remember that JYJ’s international fans are fighters too, no matter the hardship of not being able to see JYJ on TV like other groups, or not having a fanclub name (We call ourselves JYJ’s fans, JYJ Family, or the Republic of JYJ), we, just like the three of you, we will wait for that day patiently.
At the same time, we will cheer for and support all of your activities whether they are solo or group, domestic or international.
On behalf of all the JYJ3 staff, we also promise to continue to do our best for you.
As always, we want to give our THANKS TO YOU for everything you do as Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu. Together you are JYJ, a group with unlimited talent and potential in the eyes of your fans all over the world. We will make sure everyone has the opportunity to see what we found in you.
Please take care of your health
JYJ3 Team
Dear JYJ3 Readers,
We are pleased to inform you of the details concerning JYJ’s donation project for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
On December 26 our Project Admin made the donation to UNAIDS electronically, with the final donation amount totaling $2,729.57 USD. Fans from 25 countries all over the world contributed to our donation project. We want to say thank you to those who were able to participate and express our pride in having such caring and generous fans in the Republic of JYJ ^.^
As you know, despite not being able to appear on TV in South Korea and always having busy schedules full of activities in order to meet their fans, JYJ make the time to take on ambassadorships for good causes as well as do and promote charitable works. We chose to donate to UNAIDS because JYJ’s ambassadorship activities in 2011 increased our awareness of this organization and hope UNAIDS, as well as other organizations within and outside of South Korea, recognizes the power of JYJ and their fans across the globe.
We make this donation to UNAIDS in honor of JYJ and as we celebrate the holiday season, we strengthen our determination to support JYJ in 2013! Again, we want to thank all of you that participated and we hope you will continue to support JYJ3′s projects in the future.
Thank you for your attention,
JYJ3 Team

The past November 15/2012 JYJ Colombia donated 80 scholar kits to the Maria Luisa de Moreno Philanthropic Foundation, to help 80 boys and girls in need from a poor school in Quibdo, Choco; a region located in the north west of Colombia. JYJ Colombia decided to donate the 80 kits in the name of JYJ Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu to these particular children because they live in a very poor condition, knowing that their families survive with less than a dollar a day. They live needy lives, no doubt, although this is only a small grain of sand in the desert, JYJ Colombia wanted to help them to ease their studying conditions in such a way. Each kit contained the following items:
. 2 notebooks
. 1 box of colors
. 1 eraser
. 1 pencil sharpener
. 1 pencil
. 1 pen
. 1 box of water colors
. 1 box of play-dough
. 1 ruler
. 1 scissors
. 1 t-shirt (size according age)
. 1 toy (according gender)
These scholar items were donated and reunited by the JYJ Colombia administrators and other persons who wanted to join the project.

Fans of popular group JYJ member Kim Jaejoong have donated 10.8M KRW(~10K USD) to Beautiful Foundation to improve facilities for children’s school meals.
Last Dec 22 around 2 pm, members of Kim Jaejoong’s fansite ‘Prickly noonas of HEROSE’ went to Beautiful Foundation to donate 10.8M KRW in support of “I Disagree’, a campaign against the unfair prices of school meals for institutionalized children.
“I Disagree” is a campaign that states that the price of school meals provided by the Department of Health and Human Services Advisory to children in need costs less than half of the 3,500 KRW (3.25 USD) budget. The campaign aims for a change in government policy in the future. Currently, the meal is priced at 1,420 KRW (1.32 USD). The proceeds from their sales of fangoods were collected and donated under the name “Hero’s goods” (Hero being Kim Jaejoong’s character).
Fans of Kim Jaejoong from group JYJ generously donated about $10,000 to improve school meals for institutionalized children in Korea.
The singer’s fan site, “Rough HEROSE Sisters”, donated the money to a campaign against the unfair prices of school meals for children in need. The campaign’s stance is that the school meals provided by the Department of Health and Services are not worth the high price that the institutions are charging their children. Children in institutions are currently paying 1420won (about $1.30) per meal. The fan site collected money from the proceeds of their sales and donated the money under the name “Hero’s Goods.”
Kim Jaejoong will release a mini solo album in January. Kim Ba Da, the vocalist of famed rock group Sinawe, contributed to this rock album.
A representative of C-JES Entertainment said, “Kim Jaejoong will show a side of him that he could not show in JYJ with his husky and rough vocals in the new rock album.
