[NEWS] 130421 SC bank donated 3000 sets of audiobooks
Last April 18, Standard Chartered (SC) bank, who launched the ‘Good Library project’, donated 3,000 audio sets to the Korea Blind Union. Each set contains 1 animated film and 60 practice books.
SC bank first started the Good Library project in 2011 in Korea which seeks to support the visually impaired’s cultural needs. Season 2 kicked off in December last year which led to public participation of at least 60,000 people. A total of 200 people, including 100 Standard Chartered Bank employees, were selected and received professional guidance to take part in the production of the audiobooks and film.

[PICS] 130418 Yoochun at Standard Chartered Bank Event
On the 18th, Standard Chartered Bank will open its commentary screen movie premiere and its audiobook publication celebration party in Seoul.
They plan to donate their products to the Korean association of the visually disabled people.

[EDITORIAL] 130309 Goodwill: Idols and Their Warm Hearts & Good Deeds – JYJ
Though its gone through its fair share of troubles, JYJ has managed to rise up as one of the most influential idol groups.
Not only has JYJ held several charity concerts, but the group is also famous for donating their paychecks, either from individual projects, or from concert tours.
The group also partnered with Elle Magazine and World Vision to create the ‘Mango Tree Project’ in 2011, which aimed to gift mango trees, symbolizing hope, to Sudanese children.
JYJ also made news when it donated 200 million won to the Thailand flood relief, helping students and schools who were affected by the devastating floods, as well as 600 million won to the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief.
Thanks to these hugely charitable acts, JYJ and its members have been recognized as honorary ambassadors by several major organizations, including the Good Library Project, the Nuclear Security Summit, and UNAIDS.

[FANACCOUNT] 130119 I Met JYJ’s Yoochun~
As I’ve mentioned in yesterday’s blog post, there was an event that JYJ’s Yoochun was going to appear.
The place was COEX, South Korea’s leading big convention center.
The aim of the event was to build a “Voice Library” for the people who are unable to see.

The people who had registered earlier on the internet will go to the booth and took on the voice audition.
The judges are real voice actors.
It seems that there are a lot of voice actors in South Korea.
After taking the first round and passed, the participants will have to record their voice in a different booth.
Here, there’ll be a famous story in which they will have to read for recording and the voice will be stored to the Voice Library…is the case.
