JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong will be holding a special series of concerts to celebrate his birthday and the release of his first solo album.
A rep from Kim Jae Joong′s agency C-JeS Entertainment told enews on December 26, “We′ve confirmed the release date of Kim Jae Joong′s first solo album to be January 17. To celebrate the release of his album and his birthday, he will hold special concerts, which will be a mini concert and fanmeeting in one, on
December 26 and 27.”

Kim Jae Joong is currently preparing a solo mini album in the rock genre. He wrote the lyrics for all of the tracks to be included in the album, and also composed for some. JYJ‘s Jaejoong recently took a trip down to the city of Gongju and shared a set of photos.
On December 26, Jaejoong tweeted, “I went to King Moo Ryung’s tomb in Gongju city today,” “I went to my old house,” “I also came to my old elementary school,” along with three photos.
Each photo showed Jaejoong posing in front of the King Moo Ryung Tomb, his old home and the school that he attended as a child.
In the digital guestbook for Kim Moo Ryung’s Tomb, Jaejoong playfully wrote, “Kim Jaejoong is the best.” He also stood and gave a playful pose in front of the Gongju Central Elementary School.

C-jes entertainment official on the 26th said, “Kim Jaejoong’s first solo album was decided to be released on Jan 17. Both days, on Jan 26 and 27, he is scheduled to hold a special concert to celebrate the album launch and to commemorate his birthday. It’s a new attempt to have a concert and fanmeeting together in harmony.
Genre of Kim Jaejoong’s solo mini-album is rock, and he took part in the production, including writing all the lyrics of the songs.
The concert, consists of 3 parts, will be held on Jan 26 and 27 at KINTEX Ilsan. The show title “Your, My, and Mine” coincides with his birthday (Jan. 26) and it will focus on his life story via stage performances. It is also a way to say a very sincere thank you to the fans.
Domestic fans can now enjoy Kim Jaejoong’s great live performances and will be the first domestic activity after recently finishing his Asia fan meeting in 4 countries last November.

Fans of popular group JYJ member Kim Jaejoong have donated 10.8M KRW(~10K USD) to Beautiful Foundation to improve facilities for children’s school meals.
Last Dec 22 around 2 pm, members of Kim Jaejoong’s fansite ‘Prickly noonas of HEROSE’ went to Beautiful Foundation to donate 10.8M KRW in support of “I Disagree’, a campaign against the unfair prices of school meals for institutionalized children.
“I Disagree” is a campaign that states that the price of school meals provided by the Department of Health and Human Services Advisory to children in need costs less than half of the 3,500 KRW (3.25 USD) budget. The campaign aims for a change in government policy in the future. Currently, the meal is priced at 1,420 KRW (1.32 USD). The proceeds from their sales of fangoods were collected and donated under the name “Hero’s goods” (Hero being Kim Jaejoong’s character).
