Junsu concluded his ‘XIA 1st Asia Tour’ with a final performance in Hong Kong on August 26th.
At the finale, 3,500 fans were treated to a two-hour bonanza with the K-pop star singing various hits as well as granting three wishes for fans during “Xia Time.”
Officials from Hong Kong’s Ministry of Culture were also present, and they praised the singer for his professionalism. “I can see why he is called one of Asia’s finest,” said a ministry representative.
Ahead of his finale, Junsu traveled to five different cities including Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and Shanghai to prove that he is one of the leading Hallyu artists today.
The Asian tour came to an end 100 days after Kim released his solo album “Tarantallegra.”
With the end of his Asia Tour, Junsu will be leaving for New York on August 30 to begin his official world tour.

[NEWS] 120828 Xia’s Solo Asia Tour a Success
Junsu Kim of group JYJ, who has been actively promoting his solo activities as Xia, successfully completed his First Solo Asia Tour, which took place over the course of 100 days.
According to JYJ’s management agency, CJ-eS Entertainment, on August 26 Xia put on his last concert of the tour at the Hong Kong convention center bringing out 3,500 fans and ending the tour with a bang.
During the two hour concert, Xia serenaded fans by singing hit songs such as “Intoxication,” “Set Me Free,” and “I Don’t Like Love.”
For the course of the tour Xia colored his hair a different color for each city to bring a feeling of a new beginning for each concert. He colored his hair red, sea blue, and on the day of the last concert purple. There was “Xia time” at each concert where fans could ask for three wishes, adding to the concerts’ atmosphere.
One Hong Kong fan stated, “Xia’s talent and performances are always the best. I was really happy I went to his concert.”Hong Kong media also made headlines that read, “Performances You Can’t Take Your Eyes Off Of,” and “Heart Moving Live Performance.”
Junsu Kim started his tour on May 20 starting in Seoul and then moving to Bangkok, Jakarta, Taipei, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. He visited six different cities and performed in front of approximately 35,000 fans. On August 30 he will start another tour in New York, and then will travel around both North and South America and as well as Europe.
