After hitting up the East Coast last week, JYJ headed for the West Coast to thrill the crowd in the next stop of their epic “2011 World Tour“!
On May 27th, fans in Los Angeles were treated to a two-hour long concert filled with sexy performances by JYJ’s Junsu, Jaejoong, and Yoochun at the NOKIA Theatre.

Anticipation crackled in the air as we waited outside of the NOKIA Theatre. Long before the doors opened, fans gathered in front to pass out red glowsticks and posters in a joint effort to support JYJ to the fullest extent possible.
Once fans entered the building, they were greeted by an undisclosed dance practice video of “Be My Girl (Remix)“. In the video, JYJ’s dancers demonstrated the simple dance steps to the song, allowing fans in the audience to learn the dance in time for the concert’s opening.
The lights dimmed, and the stadium immediately transformed into an ocean of red. JYJ had fans screaming as they opened the concert with engaging performances of “Empty“, “I.D.S“, and “Nine“, after which Yoochun greeted the audience by yelling, “What up L.A.? Welcome to the JYJ concert in Los Angeles!“. Junsu then shouted, “How are you doing tonight?! Let’s have a good time together!“, and Jaejoong piped in, “Hope you enjoy the show!”
So I was really determined to see JYJ at their hotel before the concert since I had missed my chance during the showcase in November. Plus it would be my last chance since idk when they’ll come back again. It’s so hard to find out where they are since fans don’t usually announce it to everyone, which is understandable though. LUCKILY on Wednesday someone told me on twitter that JYJ were spotted at the JW Marriott. Even though I wasn’t 100% positive it was the hotel, since I hadn’t heard it from an actual fan who saw, I decided to go anyways and really hoped it was true!
Alright, so I had arrived a little before 6am at the hotel alone. I know, really early XD But my only ride was for my dad to drop be off before work since he works in LA anyways. Of course it was pretty empty at that time, so I found a seat with a good view of the guest room elevators^^

The third stop of JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu)’s World Tour in the U.S and Canada was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Although the concert wasn’t scheduled to start til 8PM, fans started entering the venue at 7PM. While the lower seating sections were mostly sold out, the view of the balcony was disappointing as many seats were left unoccupied. Regardless, the highly anticipated concert saw thousands of dedicated fans who traveled hundreds of miles to see the trio in flesh-and-blood. There were even fans who came from as far as Canada, claiming they did not get enough of the three stars at the concert’s first stop in Vancouver. The concert started 15 minutes later than planned, but fans displayed no sign of impatience as they excitedly chattered with one another while waiting.

May 26th, 2011 at the JW Marriott.
I was there from like 6am-6pm @_@
I first noticed Junsu’s hair cuz it stood out XD I went up to him and was like “Omg Junsu!” and he smiled and said “Hi!” IT WAS SO CUTE~!!!
I had planned to speak to him in Japanese but I completely blanked out LOL.
Anyways, at that time I forgot my album at the table so I tried to ask for a hug, but of course he didn’t understand and was confused so he just smiled XD So him & the guy he was with continued walking to the cafe-ish place.

T/N: This is a fan account written by both my sister and I (we went together), and that’s why sometimes we use “we” and sometimes “I” in the account, and the tone/sentence structures might seem different a times since it’s by two different people. Just want to explain so you won’t think I am schizophrenic lol. ! I hope you guys enjoy reading
“My twin sister and I went to the concert together. We only got there at 7:00 so unfortunately we didn’t really get to mix with the other fans. I will say that most of the people there is Asian, but there was a surprising mix of non-Asians there too. It was actually kind of funny because there is apparently another event at the Staples stadium (which is right across from the Nokia Theatre), and so there were huge lines everywhere.
We got some free light sticks from one of the fan groups (sorry I didn’t have time to see which T__T) when we got there, and then we went to line up at one of the lines. They were relatively short so it was alright. The doors open pretty early, around 7:10-ish, and it was very organized. There was a security check, but it went pretty fast, and we were inside in several minutes.
We didn’t really want to miss anything so we went to find our seats ASAP. Before I forget, I just want to say that I had a blast with Diana who sat next to my sister. It was all of our first concerts ever so we had a lot of fun together :) We also met Tristan (sp?), a very enthusiastic fanboy! He was a great guy and fan! Also, thank you to the fan next to me who let me have one of her extra light sticks when mine broke!
